Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the various findings of archaeological relics at Gondosuli Temple and analyze the concept of utilizing archaeological relics at Gondosuli Temple as an educational tourist destination. Qualitative methods are used as the basis for research related to the use of archaeological relics of Gondosuli Temple as an educational tourist destination. The results showed that the variety of archaeological relics found in Gondosuli Temple consists of component of temple stones, Yoni, Nandi statues, and Gondosuli Inscriptions. The archaeological relics can be developed as an educational tourist destination by combining the potential that exists in Gondosuli Village in the form of natural and cultural resources. The supporting natural resources around Gondosuli Temple includes Mount Sumbing, agricultural land, and rivers. The cultural potentials are crafts, arts, and traditions. Existing archaeological relics can be made into educational tour packages by combining the potentials in Gondosuli Village. Tourism development is carried out using tutorial learning methods and exploration activities. Flow of visits could be designed on Gondosuli Temple, the Gondosuli Inscription, Mount Sumbing, river crossings, and community settlements. Abstract

Tlilir Village is one of the villages in Temanggung Regency, Central Java, which is known as the best tobacco producer in Indonesia. To maximize the utilization of their regional potential, the people of Tlilir Village began to initiate the development of educational tourism as a form of synergy between the agricultural sector, education and tourism. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of tobacco cultivation-based educational tourism destinations in Tlilir Village, the potential to support the development of educational tourism in Tlilir Village, and the concept of developing tobacco cultivation-based educational tourism in Tlilir Village. This research uses qualitative methods.  The results showed that the potential for the development of tobacco-based educational tourism destinations in Tlilir Village was supported by natural potential, cultural potential, and artificial potential. Natural potential in the form of the natural environment of Mount Sumbing. Cultural potential in the form of traditions related to tobacco cultivation. Artificial potential in the form of the pioneering tobacco museum and the holding of the 1st Tlilir Art & Culture Festival. The development of tobacco cultivation-based educational tourism in Tlilir Village can be developed with the carrying capacity in the form of accessibility, amenities, government policies, and community involvement.  The development of tobacco cultivation-based educational tourism in Tlilir Village is focused on educational tourism with the concept of learning tutorials and exploration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential of the Gorontalo Post Office archaeological heritage as a historical tourism attraction. The research employs a qualitative method. The findings indicate that the Gorontalo Post Office holds significant historical value, making it a relevant educational resource for tourists. The site has the potential to become an appealing historical tourism destination through preservation-based management. An adaptive conservation approach, which maintains the authenticity of the building while introducing new functions, such as a mini museum, is considered effective in enhancing its appeal. The involvement of local communities in management and promotion is also a crucial factor in supporting the sustainability of historical tourism. Utilizing digital technology, such as social media and augmented reality-based applications, can expand promotional reach and attract younger generations. This study concludes that the archaeological heritage of the Gorontalo Post Office possesses potential as a historical tourism attraction in terms of historical, cultural, and economic aspects. With integrated management and collaboration among the government, academics, and the private sector, the Gorontalo Post Office can become a historical tourism icon that not only strengthens Gorontalo's cultural identity but also contributes to local economic development and the preservation of cultural heritage for future generations.Top of Form
