Abstract

This quantitative descriptive study aims to understand how PJOK SD teachers view independent learning in the district. South Polombangkeng, Takalar district. The population in this study consisted of 32 elementary school PJOK teachers in Takalar Regency. We collected data using techniques like observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. We used descriptive analysis as a data analysis technique. In more detail, the results show that in the "excellent" category, it is 3.12% (1 teacher), the "good" category is 56.25% (18 teachers), the "fairly good" group is 34.38% (11 teachers), the "not good" category is 6.25% (2 teachers), and the "naughty" category is 0% (0 teachers). Referring to the average value of 124.34, which is included in the score interval 123.35 < X < 148.5, which indicates the good category, based on the results of the analysis, the research data on PJOK Elementary School teachers' perceptions of independent learning as a whole is good.

Abstract

This research objective is to determine the relationship between interest in learning, emotional intelligence, and intellectual intelligence and the PJOK learning achievement of class IX students at Public Middle School 1 Keera. The sample consisted of 54 students selected through random sampling. The research's dependent variable is the PJOK learning achievement. The independent variables include interest in learning, emotional intelligence, and intellectual intelligence. The study employed a descriptive research method. We analyzed the research data using correlational techniques, maintaining a significance level of 95%. The results of the research show that: 1) There is a relationship between interest in learning and PJOK learning achievement with a correlation value (r) of 0.838, which is in the quite strong category with a contribution of 72.2%. 2) There is a relationship between emotional intelligence and PJOK learning achievement with a correlation value (r) of 0.788, which is in the quite strong category with a contribution of 62.1%. 3) For class IX students at Public Middle School 1 Keera, there is a correlation between intellectual intelligence and PJOK learning achievement. The correlation value (r) is 0.800, which is pretty strong and works out to 64.0%. 4) The PJOK learning achievement of class IX students at Public Middle School 1 Keera reveals a significant relationship between interest in learning, emotional intelligence, and intellectual intelligence, with a correlation value (r) of 0.893, indicating a strong contribution of 79.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the impact of the Box Skip Exercise on the leg muscle power of pre-service teachers at STKIP YPUP Makassar. This study employs an experimental design, specifically a quasi-experimental design. In this study, the population and sample were the pre-service teachers of STKIP YPUP Makassar, with a sample size of 30 people divided into two treatment groups and a control group. We used the t-test to test the research data. The research data that was tested with the t-test shows that the treatment group's data has a calculated T value that is higher than the T table with a value of 9.291>1.753. The significance value of 0.00 falls below 0.05, indicating that box skip exercise has a significant impact on the leg muscle power of physical education pre-service teachers. In contrast, the data from the control group revealed a calculated T value of 3.674, which exceeded the T table by 1.753. Additionally, the significance value of 0.00 was less than 0.05, indicating that the treatment group had a greater influence than the control group. Based on the above data, we can conclude that the treatment group exerted a greater influence than the control group in enhancing the leg muscle power of physical education pre-service teachers at STKIP YPUP Makassar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of plyometric box jump training on improving smash skills. Plyometric depth jump training enhances smash skills. Differences in the Effect between Box Jump and Depth Jump Training on Improving Smash Skills. This type of research is quasi-experimental using two groups, namely the box jump and depth jump groups, each consisting of 10 MAN 1 Bone students. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the T-test show that the significance value for depth jump training is 0.000 and box jump training is 0.001, indicating that each exercise has an influence. For depth jump training, the increase in smash ability was 4.40, while for box jumps, it was 2.60. Conclusion 1: Plyometric box jump training influences the improvement of Smash skills. 2) Plyometric depth jump training affects improving Smash skills. 3) There is a difference in the influence between box jump and depth jump training, which have different influences on improving smash skills.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the effect of smash drill training on smash skills in PT CAS Makassar male athletes. The type of research used is experimental. We selected the research object through total sampling, and the sample comprised 10 individuals. Meanwhile, we processed the data using SPSS 25, which included descriptive analysis, normality tests, and independent sample t-tests. The research results revealed that the smash skills of male athletes in the PT CAS Makassar study highlight the effectiveness of smash drill training. Of smash drill The hypothesis test results, utilizing the independent sample t-test, confirm this; they yield a value of Tcount > Ttable, specifically 10.04 > 2.101. > 2.101. In addition, the average initial ability of 22.80 to 28.40 demonstrates the impact of smash drill training. The increase in the average ability of these athletes indicates that smash drill training enhances the smash skills of PT CAS Makassarmale athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether a play approach improves learning outcomes for basic 60-meter running movements in class V Elementary School Lariang Bangi 1 Makassar. This study employed a classroom action research (PTK) approach, utilizing two cycles. In this research, the independent variable is the playing approach, while the dependent variable is the result of learning the basic movements of the 60-meter run. The population of this research was all 30 students of class V of Lariang Bangi 1 Makassar Elementary School; the sample was drawn using a total sampling technique. We collected the research data by implementing a play-based approach and monitoring the student's progress in mastering the fundamental movements of running 60 meters. We used descriptive statistics, along with percentages, as the data analysis technique. The study findings revealed that using the play method in the basic movement test of running 60 meters could improve the learning outcomes of class V students at Lariang Bangi 1 Makassar State Elementary School. Cycle I to cycle II scores demonstrate the improvement in learning outcomes for the basic movements of running 60 meters. In cycle I the completion value was 67%, and in cycle II it was 87%. The average value of learning outcomes for the basic movements of running 60 meters also increased, reaching 74 in cycle I and 82 in cycle II. Based on these findings, we can deduce that class V students Elementary School experienced a rise in learning outcomes for the fundamental movements of running 60 meters using a play-based approach.

Abstract

The study aimed to (1) assess the community's involvement in the availability of Pakui Sayang Park as a sports open space in Makassar and (2) gauge the public's satisfaction with the park's status as a sports open space in Makassar. The samples in this study were students, the community, and employees in Pakui Sayang Park. employees at Pakui Sayang Park Makassar City totaling 30 people, sampling techniques. people, sampling method using purposive sampling. We conducted this survey-based research, employing a descriptive design and a percentage-based data analysis, using the SPSS Version 26.0 program and Microsoft Excel 2019. The results of this study indicate that: (1) community participation in the availability of pakui sayang park as a sports open space in Makassar is in the excellent category at the level of 70%, and (2) community satisfaction with the availability of pakui sayang park as a sports open space in Makassar is in a good category or 83%. This study also identified four primary areas of satisfaction: quality and service, price, emotional factors, and convenience. However, further research is necessary. However, we must conduct additional research to understand the factors influencing community participation and satisfaction with physical activity in Pakui Sayang Park.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of sepak sila skills through the drill method in sepak takraw learning in junior high school students. This study uses an approach based on classroom action research. The sample in this study was students of Class VIII of Public Middle School Satu Atap Iwur Pegunungan Bintang, with a sample used of 32 students. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Qualitative data analysis used qualitative descriptive techniques to interpret the results of observations about the learning process. The results showed that in the first cycle of learning Sepak Takraw Sepak Sila using the drill method, the passing rate for all students was 66.67%. In the affective aspect, student motivation to participate in learning still needs to be improved, especially in the early meetings. Discipline and accuracy in performing sepak sila using the drill method still need improvement. While the average completeness value of all students was 93.75% in cycle II, only 7.34% of students had not achieved completeness. However, the learning process encountered several obstacles. In the cognitive aspect, students still have difficulty in working on questions and lack focus when working on assignments, which causes the final grade to be less than optimal. It can be concluded that there is an increase in sepak sila skills by using the drill method in sepak takraw learning among class VIII students of Public Middle School.

Abstract

This study intends to analyze the effect of arm muscle strength, eye-hand coordination, and concentration on badminton long serving ability in students. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample of this study at elementary school YPS Lawewu Sorowako amounted to 16 students. We measured arm strength using a hand-grip dynamometer and evaluated eye-hand coordination through a ball wall-toss test. We analyzed the data using SPSS and AMOS for path analysis. The results indicated that there was a weak positive effect between arm muscle strength and long serve. This effect was not statistically significant because the significance value (0.566) was much greater than 0.05. There was a weak positive effect between eye-hand coordination and long serve. This effect was not statistically significant because the significance value (0.423) was greater than 0.05. There was a weak negative effect between concentration and long service. The effect is not statistically significant because the significance value (0.212) is greater than 0.05. Additionally, there is no significant effect of both variables on long service. Both variables have a significance value > 0.05. Concentration has a negative effect (-0.417). Hand-eye coordination has a weak positive effect (0.152). The conclusion is that there is a weak positive effect between arm muscle strength, hand-eye coordination, and badminton long service. There is a weak negative effect of concentration on badminton long service performance. Next, there is no significant effect of arm muscle strength or hand-eye coordination through concentration on the badminton long service ability of Elementary School extracurricular participants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the hopscotch game in long jump learning for students of public middle school 13 Penajam Paser Utara, as well as to improve students' long jump abilities, including in aspects of landing method, jump angle, support, and starting speed. This study used a classroom action method with two cycles, involving 32 students of class VII C. Measurements were carried out through long jump tests before and after implementing the hopscotch game, with quantitative data analysis to compare student learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in students' long jump abilities. The average long jump score in the pre-cycle was 70, increasing to 72.50 in cycle I and reaching 83.44 in cycle II. This increase shows the effectiveness of the hopscotch game in improving students' abilities, with a learning completion percentage reaching 100%. The application of the hopscotch game in long jump learning has proven effective in improving the long jump abilities of students of public middle school 13 Penajam Paser Utara. Therefore, students can utilize the hopscotch game as an engaging alternative learning method to enhance their physical abilities and skills.
