From the survey results, the problem in this study is the high cases of Dermatitis in the community, which reached 623 points. This study aims to examine the impact of Knowledge, history of allergies, and the environment on the incidence of Dermatitis in the working area of Alue Rambot health center, Darul Makmur District Nagan Raya district. The research method used in this research is analytic with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in January 2022, The population in this study is people who suffer from Dermatitis in the working area of the Alue Rambot Health Center, as many as 623 sufferers, the sample in this study was taken based on the Slovin formula with an error rate (0.1), where a sample of 86 respondents was obtained with criteria who were willing to be interviewed and were in the working area of the Puskesmas.  Processing data using statistical tests, namely univariate and bivariate analysis, then tested using the Chi-Square test. The study results stated that after being analyzed, it turned out that there was an impact of Knowledge, history of allergies, and the environment affected the incidence of Dermatitis as evidenced by the value (P-value 0.05) with the Prevalence Ratio (7.302, 3.062, and 2.460). The conclusion turns out that the lack of public knowledge about the causes of Dermatitis, the presence of a previous history of allergies, and the environment regarding poor personal Hygiene has a significant influence on the incidence of Dermatitis. Local government advice directly implement socialization about Dermatitis by increasing Knowledge, breaking the chain of causes of allergy recurrence, and improving the cleanliness of the surrounding environment for the formation of work areas whose communities are dermatitis-free.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by chronic hyperglycemia due to defects in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic factors with the classification of diabetes mellitus. This research method is an analytic survey, with a cross sectional approach. The population is the entire number of outpatient diabetes mellitus patients as many as 4,365 people in 2019 and the sample in this study was 98 respondents, the sampling technique used a random sampling technique, analyzed univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between social environmental factors (P-value: 0.000<0.05), cultural and religious environmental factors (P-value: 0.012<0.05), economic environmental factors (P-value: 0.037<0 0.05), emotional association factor (P-value: 0.000 < 0.05), physical and psychological state factors (P-value: 0.021<0.05), more assessment factor on food quality (P-value: 0.021<0.05) with the classification of diabetes mellitus. We are recommended for patients to take treatment as directed by health workers by using the 3J technique, namely paying attention to the type of food, amount of food and meal schedule to control blood sugar levels to avoid complications due to diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a public health issue worldwide, affecting all age groups, despite being a preventable and curable disease. This study investigated the relationship between medication supervisors (RMS) and family support in medication adherence in pulmonary TB patients. This study is an observational type using a case-control design. The research was conducted in the working area of the Johan Pahlawan Community Health Center, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, in 2022. A total of 34 participants were recruited using the purposive sampling technique, with 17 participants in each group, i.e., the case group (non-adherent) and the control group (adherent). To minimise bias, matching was performed based on the participants' sex between the case and control groups. The chi-square test was used to test the hypothesis or to answer the research question, and the analysis was performed using computer software. The results showed that the p-value for the RMS and family support with medication adherence was <0.05, indicating a significant relationship. Thus, it can be concluded that RMS and family support significantly influence medication adherence among pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

Drug abuse is currently very impressive in Indonesia. Now drugs are widely used by all walks of life, even children and adolescents. This study aims to prove the effect of health education on adolescent knowledge about the dangers of drugs. This study uses a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design type. By using quantitative research methods by distributing questionnaires before providing health education and after health education to see the level of knowledge about drugs. Class XII students of SMA Negeri 6 ABDYA became the research population visited by 120 students and 30 students were randomly selected as research samples. The measurement of knowledge about the dangers of drugs was carried out twice, namely the first measurement before the intervention was given and the second measurement after the intervention was given. The results showed that adolescents with good knowledge in the first measurement were only 3.3% with an average value of 41.83% and in the second measurement increased to 73.3% with an average value of 72.83%. Paired Simple T-Test statistical test found a significant effect between intervention through education on adolescent knowledge about the dangers of drugs (P value < 0.001). Providing knowledge about the dangers of drugs plays an important role in increasing adolescent knowledge, so that adolescents can know and understand well about the dangers of drug use.
