Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest in learning of students in learning the Koran at TPQ Mushola Nurul Ikhlas Bukik Kaciak Kampung Benteng Nagari Duku. The low interest in learning is thought to be caused by the low attention of parents according to students. The research aims to describe students' interest in learning, describe parental attention according to students, and see the relationship between parental attention according to students and participants' learning interest in learning the Koran at TPQ at Nurul Ikhlas Bukik Kaciak Mosque. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational type. The population in this study were TPQ participants in learning the Koran and the sample was taken by random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of closed interviews and data collection tools in the form of questionnaires.The data analysis technique used the percentage formula and Spearman rho correlation. The results showed that parental attention according to students was categorized as low, students' interest in learning the Koran at TPQ Mushola Nurul Ikhlas Bukik Kaciak was categorized as low, and there was a significant relationship between parental attention according to students and students' interest in learning the Koran. at the TPQ at the Nurul Ikhlas Bukik Kaciak Mosque, Kampung Benteng Nagari Duku, Koto XI Tarusan District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. It is recommended that TPQ managers and educators at the Nurul Ikhlas Bukik Kaciak Kampung Benteng Mosque in order to increase student interest in learning, then can improve things that are deemed necessary to improve learning.

Abstract

This exploration is persuaded by the low learning results of understudies in grades VIII.7 and VIII.8 in scout extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 7 Padang, this is apparently in light of the fact that it has something to do with internet learning media. This review expects to portray the utilization of web based learning media and see the connection between web based learning media and learning results for grades VIII.7 and VIII.8 in scout extracurricular exercises at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. This examination was directed utilizing a quantitative methodology with a correlational sort. The populace in this review were 62 understudies of class VIII.7 and VIII.8 who partook in scout extracurricular exercises. Abstract

The background of this research is the low development of speech in children, this can be seen from the fact that there are still many children who have not said sorry after making a mistake, have not said thank you and have not used the word please when asking for help. This study aims to: “1) Describe parents' knowledge about stimulation in children aged 5 to 6 years in RW 03 Air Tawar Barat Village. 2) To describe the development of speech in early childhood in RW 03, Air Tawar Barat Village. 3) Knowing the relationship between parents' knowledge about early childhood stimulation and speech development in children aged 5-6 years in RW 03, Air Tawar Barat Village.” The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population in this study were mothers who had children aged 5-6 years in RW 03 Kelurahan Air Tawar Barat, totaling 56 people. Sampling used by researchers is Cluster Random Sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage formulas and Product Moment. The results showed that: 1) The description of parents' knowledge about stimulation in RW 03 Kelurahan Air Tawar Barat was categorized as starting to develop. 2) An overview of the development of speech in children aged 5-6 years in RW 03 Kelurahan Air Tawar Barat is categorized as starting to develop well. 3) There is a significant relationship between parents' knowledge about stimulation and the development of speech in children aged 5-6 years in RW 03, Air Tawar Barat Village.

Abstract

The background of this research is the high learning difficulty of dressmaking students at the Modeste Dolly Women's Skills Institute, which is suspected to be due to the low learning motivation of students at the Modeste Dolly Women's Skills Institute, Bukittinggi City. This study aims to reveal an overview of the learning motivation of fashion design students, learning difficulties of fashion design students, and reveal the relationship between learning motivation and learning difficulties of fashion at the Modeste Dolly Women's Skills Institute, Bukittinggi City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population in this study were 45 fashion students, while the samples were taken using a 70% stratified random sampling technique, namely 32 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. And the technique used in data analysis is the percentage formula and product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the learning motivation of dressmaking students is still relatively low; 2) the learning difficulties of dressmaking students are high; 3) there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and learning difficulties in fashion at the Modeste Dolly Women's Skills Institute Bukittinggi City.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the uniqueness of LKP Proklamtor Padang in maintaining the quality of service in education as evidenced by the large number of students who go to Japan. . This study aims to describe the quality of education services at LKP Proklamator Padang from the dimensions of responsiveness, empathy, tangibles, and reliability. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data sources are instructors, Japanese language training participants and management staff of LKP Proklamator Padang. With data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research illustrate that: (1) the quality of educational services is seen from the dimensions of responsiveness between students and instructors who are open to each other in learning; (2) the quality of education services is seen from the dimensions of empathy the instructor gives attention, motivation, and good relations with students; (3) the quality of education services seen from the dimensions of physical evidence of instructors and students implementing health protocols and maintaining cleanliness and adequate facilities in learning; (4) the quality of education services is seen from the dimensions of instructor and student demands to apply rules, and apply justice to all students and instructors are responsible for reports on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is driven by the low levels of discipline of students in the learning process of TPQ / TQA Masjid Afdhal Padang City, this is thought to be due to the lack of parental attention to students. The purpose of this study is to determine parental attention, learning discipline, and the relationship between parental attention and learning discipline of TPQ / TQA Masjid Afdhal students in Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach of correlational type. The population in this study were TPQ / TQA students, in total 31 people. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. The sample was taken 80% of the population, which was 25 students. Data collection techniques using structured interviews. The data analysis technique uses the presentation formula and the Spearmen Rho correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Attention of parents of TPQ/TQA students is categorized as low; 2) The learning discipline of TPQ/TQA students is categorized as low; 3) There is a relationship between parental attention and the learning discipline of TPQ / TQA students at the Masjid Afdhal in Padang City. From the results of the study, researchers suggest that parents should pay more attention to optimizing students learning discipline such as guiding students in learning, supervising students in learning, giving rewards and punishments to students, meeting learning needs and creating a safe and comfortable learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The investigation began with the academic performance of individuals taking the Indonesian Language Package B course at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera Padang City which was below standard. The educational tools used by teaching staff are thought to be less attractive for students enrolled in Package B. The aims of this research are: (1) to determine the characteristics of Indonesian language educational tools which include Padlet for Package B, (2) to evaluate the impact of Padlet educational tools on academic achievement and (3) evaluating the impact of using Padlet on the academic results of PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera Package B participants in Padang City. This research uses a quasi-experimental design and uses quantitative methods to find out whether the Padlet tool affects academic performance in the Indonesian language course for Package B residents at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City. The aim of this research is the sample population, namely students studying package B class IX at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, totaling 30 students. This research uses One Group Posttest True Experiment Design. The validity test of the test instrument was given to SIMA Mata Air High School students and 17 objective questions were obtained, to be tested as pre-test and post-test questions on Package B teaching residents at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera. The results of the research show that: (1) The application of the Padlet tool in the Package B Indonesian language course at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera is effective in improving student educational achievement. (2) Documentation of high academic results is proven through students' understanding and involvement in the content provided by the teacher. (3) There is a significant influence of the use of Padlet educational tools on individual academic achievement in Package B at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera Padang City as seen from the results of the T test analyzed using SPSS version 0.16, where the calculated r (0.390) exceeds the r table (0.361), and in the Correlation Test, t count (1.300) is below t table (2.050) at the significance level of 0.05 for n: 30.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the self-awareness and discipline of learners in the Package C program at PKBM Farilla Ilmi, Padang City, and explore the relationship between these two variables, in response to concerns about low self-awareness among learners, potentially linked to discipline issues. This study employed a quantitative correlational design, sampling 33 respondents from 48 Package C learners at PKBM Farilla Ilmi, Padang City, using stratified random sampling, questionnaires, and statistical analysis (percentage formulas and product moment correlation. The study reveals three key findings: (1) Package C learners at PKBM Farilla Ilmi demonstrate high self-awareness, marked by emotional intelligence, self-assessment, and confidence. (2) They also exhibit excellent learning discipline, reflected in attendance, participation, and assignment completion. (3) A significant positive correlation exists between self-awareness and learning discipline among these learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji gambaran pemberdayaan organisasi Bundo Kanduang dalam memberikan dukungan kepada remaja di Nagari Buo, Kecamatan Lintau Buo, Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Sumatera Barat, yang sebelumnya terlibat dalam perilaku negatif. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, serta mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pimpinan dan struktur organisasi Bundo Kanduang, sementara informan penelitian mencakup Wali Nagari, masyarakat, dan remaja yang dibina oleh organisasi. Triangulasi teori, sumber, dan metode diperuntukkan untuk memastikan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan di bidang pendidikan berhasil mengembangkan karakter dan keterampilan praktis remaja, serta meningkatkan soft skills seperti komunikasi dan empati. Di bidang sosial budaya, Bundo Kanduang berperan dalam memperkuat nilai gotong royong dan pelestarian budaya Minangkabau melalui keterlibatan remaja dalam kegiatan adat. Sedangkan di bidang keagamaan, program pemberdayaan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan agama dan mempererat ikatan sosial antaranggota komunitas. Keseluruhan hasil penelitian menggambarkan keberhasilan organisasi dalam merestorasi moral dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan remaja di Nagari Buo.

Abstract

Perilaku sosial anak di Panti Asuhan Khusus Anak Mentawai di Gurun Laweh Kota Padang yang dikategorikan kurang baik menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Hal ini merupakan hasil dari para pembina panti asuhan yang memberikan pembinaan moral yang kurang baik kepada anak asuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku sosial anak-anak di panti asuhan terkait dengan instruksi moral yang mereka terima dari pengasuh mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian korelasional dan metodekuantitatif. Terdapat 93 partisipan dalam penelitian ini, dan 74 respon diperoleh dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cluster Random Sampling untuk mengambil sampel hingga 80% dari populasi. Angketyang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perkembangan moral anak masuk dalam kategori kurang baik di Panti Asuhan Khusus Anak Mentawai Gurun Laweh Kota Padang; (2) perilaku sosial anak masuk dalam kategori yang sama yaitu kurang baik; dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pembinaan moral pengasuh dengan perilaku sosial anak Panti Asuhan Khusus Anak Mentawai Gurun Laweh Kota Padang.
