Abstract

This research aims to determine the suitability of the Social Forestry Program with the Implementation of Social Forestry Activities in HKm Ake Guraci, Marikurubu District, to determine the Inhibiting Factors of the Social Forestry Program in HKm Ake Guraci, Marikurubu District. The research was conducted at HKm Ake Guraci, Marikurubu Village. The research time is approximately 2 months in October-November 2023. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Data sources, primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Conclusion: The inhibiting factors for the Social Forestry Program at HKm Ake Guraci are: Lack of budget to finance programmed activities so that the planned program cannot run as it should and lack of availability of raw materials which results in delays in product production activities at HKm Ake Guraci. KUPS. Suggestion: Both central and regional governments can allocate budgets so that planned activities can be implemented well. To KPH Ternate Tidore to further increase cooperation with other agencies so that the planned program can be realized. To KPH Ternate Tidore to make an annual work plan so that the planned program can be structured every year. For students, as a reference for further research.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the production process and results of palm sugar production in Akekolano Village, North Oba District, Tidore Islands City. The research was carried out from January to June 2024. The research location was Akekolano Village, North Oba District, Tidore Islands City. This location was chosen as a research location because looking at palm sugar production in this location has quite high income potential so it is important to conduct research to look at the production process and results of palm sugar production in Akekolano Village. The results of the research show that the palm sugar production process in Akekolano Village, North Oba District, Tidore Islands City is very simple and easy, starting from the process of peeling palm fruit tangaki to the marketing process, as for the production of palm sugar for the last five months, from January 2024 until May 2024, production yields were quite high, but in April there was a significant decline because in April there was a large-scale harvest of cloves in Akekolano Village, so the palm sugar production industry players preferred to harvest cloves rather than produce them. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management performance of the Sasadu Bidadari Production Forest Management Unit of West Halmahera using the assessment guidelines for Forest Watch Indonesia (FWI) criteria and indicators version 2.0. The number of respondents collected consisted of 5 respondents, namely the Head of FMU West Halmahera, Head of Forest Planning and Utilization Section of FMU West Halmahera, Head of KSDAE Protection and Community Empowerment Section of FMU West Halmahera. Head of the Forest Area Planning and Utilization Division of the North Maluku Province Forestry Service, and Head of BPKH Region VI Manado. The data collected was then processed using Forest Watch Indonesia (FWI) Criteria and Indicators version 2.0. The final result of this analysis is presented in the form of an index. The results show that the assessment of Forest Watch Indonesia (FWI) version 2.0 criteria and indicators, which have been modified based on applicable regulations, places the development management performance of the West Halmahera FMU in the high category with an index value of 2.51. Based on the assessment results, there are three criteria in the medium category, namely the forest governance criteria, investment mechanism, and conflict handling. Meanwhile, six criteria are in the high category, namely the criteria for area stability, management plan, organizational capacity, government and regulatory relations, rights and access mechanism for the community, and management implementation within the FMU scope.
