The research aimed at improving students’ science learning outcomes by using Contextual Teaching and Learning at the four grade. The research was conducted at SDN 48 Kuranji Kota Padang. The subjects of the research were teachers and 28 four grade students. The research findings showed that there was such improvement. In cycle I obtained the average percentage of student learning outcomes 46.43 and in cycle II is 92.86. Thus, Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can improve student learning outcomes in learning Science in class IV SDN 48 Kuranji Kota Padang. The purpose of this research to knowing the effect of Cooperative Learning Model Jigsaw Type of learning outcomes in Social Science in Class V SDN 10 2X11 Kayutanam Padang Pariaman Regency. This research based on quantitative research with experimental research method, and quasy experimental research design. The population in this research is 145 people with amount sample is 32 people, which data collected using purposive sampling. Instrument that used to collecting data in this research is objective test with multiple choices. The result of this research is tcount> ttable, 3,46 > 2,04 with α = 0,05 it means Ha is accepted. The average posttest result in experiment class is 87,75 and control class is 76,75. As Ha is accepted, means Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw have affected on student learning outcomes in Social Science in Class V SDN 10 2X11 Kayutanam Padang Pariaman Regency. This research was intended to improve the studens’ learning achievement in the Social Studies by using Problem-Based Learning model in the fourth grade of SDN 09 Air Tawar Barat Padang. This was a classroom action research which used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research was the fourth grade students of SDN 09 Air Tawar Barat. Based on the result of data analysis, it was figured out that from the first cycleto the second one, the average score for the Lesson Plan improved from 69,64% into 85,8%, the teacher’s aspect improved from 85,71%, and the student’s aspect improved from 70,54% into 87,50%. In addition, the student’s learning achievement improved from 71,09 into 87,50%. keywords: IPS learning outcomes, problem based learning model

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the learning plan, the implementation of learning and student learning outcomes by using the Cooperative Type STAD model in class V SD. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 22 class V teachers and students. The research was carried out in two cycles. Research procedures include planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the study from cycle 1 to cycle 2. (a) Learning planning cycle 1 is 89.28% increased to 96.42% in cycle 2. (b) Implementation of learning from the aspect of teacher cycle 1 with an average of 92.22% increased to 97.22%. In cycle 2, from the aspect of students in cycle 1 with an average of 86.94% increased to 97.22% in cycle 2. (c) Learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle 1 obtained an average grade of 75.89 increased to 80 05 in cycle 2. Thus the Cooperative Type STAD model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in Class V SDN 27 Lubuk Alung. Kata kunci : Hasil belajar; IPS; Kooperatif Tipe STAD

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model PBL di kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 18 orang yang terdiri dari 8 orang laki-laki dan 10 orang perempuan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan prosedur penelitian yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dalam segi a) RPP siklus I ialah 76,78% dan siklus II 92,86%, b) Pelaksanaan pada aspek guru siklus I ialah 75% dan siklus II 92,86% sedangkan pelaksanaan pada aspek siswa siklus I ialah 73,22% dan siklus II 92,86%, c) Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I ialah 75,89 dan siklus II 86,82. Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah dengan menggunakan model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN 25 ATS Kota Padang.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar; Pembelajaran IPS; PBL AbstractThe purpose of this research was improve the students achievement in learning social science used PBL of 4th grade elementary school.
