Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effective depth in fishing activities and to determine the number and type of fish caught using fish traps. This research was carried out in the waters of Tanjung Luar Village, East Lombok Regency for 1 (one) month. This research used an experimental method with the experimental design used being a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), then continued with the Least Significant Difference (LSL) test at 5% and 1% levels. The factors observed in this study were 3 (three) different depths, namely depth A: 7 m, depth B: 9 m and depth C: 11 m. The results of research on the main parameters show that depth A (7 m) gets the most catches, namely 11.9 kg, then in second place is depth B (9 m) with a catch of 7.7 kg, and the lowest catch is depth C (11 m) as much as 4.3 kg. Water brightness ranged from 6.10 – 8.90 m, current speed ranged from 10 – 15 cm, salinity ranged from 27 – 29 ppt, temperature ranged from 29-30oC, the water at the research location was flat. -an average of 12.5 m and the bottom of the waters is sandy and slightly rocky. The results of the Variety Scan Analysis of the number of fish catches were 52.36, and the Ftable value at the 5% level was 4.26 while the Ftable value was 8.02. So there are real differences between each research treatment

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine efficiency of the use of additional types of feed with different protein content on the growth rate and survival rate of the fry grouper duck fish (Cromileptes altivelis). The method used in this research is the method of experiment which is a method of research by conducting a series of field trials of activities to see the results that may indicate position or relationship between variables clause - observed variables (Abdullah et al, 1985). From the research results can be obtained results growth rate grouper duck fish seed is highest on P3 is 0.052 grams / day and was lowest for the P4 is equal to 0,023 grams / day. While the value of the highest survival rate was obtained in P3 which anchovy at 95% and lowest for the meat snails P2 is only 25%. But at this result meat snails can obtain results that exceed the growth rate of fish peperek. The value of feed efficiency in P3 with a protein content of 63% is the highest efficiency rate is 23.16% and the lowest at 15.37% efficiency found in P4 with a protein content of 34%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the most effective water depth and the right time and the types of fish caught using bottom long line fishing gear (Bottom Long Line). This study was conducted in the waters of Teluk Awang, Central Lombok Regency. The method used in this study is the "experimental" method with a Randomized Block Design (RAK), with 3 (three) types of treatments consisting of 6 (six) variables and each treatment was repeated three times in the morning and evening so that 18 (eighteen) trips were obtained. The three treatments are different depths consisting of 15 meters, 20 meters and 25 meters. The results of the study showed that the highest catch was achieved by the P3 treatment at a depth of 25 meters carried out in the morning, as many as 19 fish weighing 25,986 grams, while the lowest catch was in the P1 treatment at a depth of 15 meters carried out in the afternoon, as many as 5 fish weighing 5,090 grams. Based on the Analysis of Variance (ANASRA) on the weight catch (grams) showed a significant difference where F hit. < F tab 5% (0.51 < 5.14).
