Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar is a new policy from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, which was conveyed by the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture, the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. According to Nadiem, the essence of independent thinking must be instilled in teachers first before being applied to students. Without the translation of basic competencies and curriculum, no learning will occur at the existing teacher competency level. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The data collection methods used in the research were observation and interview techniques. The results of this research reveal that: implementing the independent learning curriculum at madrasas in Tanah Datar Regency, of course there are opportunities, challenges, threats and obstacles that occur. Among the forms of opportunity obtained is the support from the head of the madrasah, the curriculum development team at the madrasah in Tanah Datar Regency, teachers and parties involved in implementing the independent learning curriculum, in its implementation there are also several challenges that must be faced, these challenges lie in madrsahs and the readiness of educators as learning leaders. Madrasas in Tanah Datar Regency must be ready in terms of facilities and infrastructure, renewal/innovation, and teachers who do not master technology are required to be able and master technology in order to support the learning process.

Abstract

In the implementation of education there are several components that can effectively and efficiently support the success of the teaching and learning process. This success is largely focused on educational leaders (school principals) who can carry out their roles and responsibilities. Therefore, as a manager, you must play a leadership role effectively to influence subordinates in achieving common goals. The purpose of this research is to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of school principals in improving teacher discipline This research involves questions that need to be answered by certain sources or information providers, so this qualitative method is very necessary in this research. Because the qualitative method uses interviews to collect data, this is the main technique in the qualitative method. Through this research, it can be concluded that 1) Planning, the principal in disciplining teachers consists of the principal formulating rules and codes of ethics that are guided by the Law on the Minister of Education and Culture, 2) Implementation, the principal disciplining teachers using 3 approaches the example of the principal, routine training and motivation of the principal, and 3) Evaluation, in the evaluation activity of disciplining teachers, the principal carries out forms of evaluation activities such as monitoring, data collection and confirmation, and also collaborates with a team of supervisors/supervisors to assess performance teacher, which also includes teacher discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) The disciplinary conditions of female students at the TPA, (2) The efforts of the head of the TPA to instill a disciplinary character in the students. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were school principals, teachers and students at the Mustaqim Mosque Batusangkar TPA. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the theory of Miles and Huberman which is carried out by (1) Data reduction (2) Data presentation (3) Drawing conclusions and verifying. Checking the validity of the data was carried out by extending observations and triangulation. The triangulation used in this research is source triangulation which is carried out by checking data that has been obtained through several sources. The results of research conducted by researchers show that (1) Students lack discipline in carrying out rules, students often make noise during lessons, there are students who disturb their friends while studying, students who go in and out of local areas during lessons without the teacher's permission, students who go to toilets without the teacher's permission, and students who deny the teacher's orders, and students who often criticize their fellow students. (2) The efforts of the head of the TPA as a leader in the school are in the form of (a) Providing continuous coaching in terms of modeling, (b) Teaching, and (c) Strengthening the good character of teachers. and TPA students. Keywords: headmaster, Santri, TPA, Disciplinary Character
