Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan identifikasi kosakata bahasa Melayu Papua dialek Papua Barat Daya beserta eksplorasi semantiknya. Hal ini dilakukan karena masih terbatasnya penelitian sejenis yang berperan dalam pendokumentasian bahasa daerah agar terhindar dari kepunahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh identifikasi jenis kosakata dari bahasa Melayu Papua dialek Papua Barat Daya yang terdiri dari: adverbia sebesar 31%, nomina sebesar 24%, verba sebesar 21%, adjektiva sebesar 12%, pronomina sebesar 6%, sedangkan demonstrativa dan konjungsi masing-masing sebesar 3%. Sementara itu, eksplorasi maknanya mengacu pada konteks sosial yang cenderung aktif dalam melalukan aktivitas fisik dan menghormati sosok Ibu. Sementara itu, konteks situasional lebih cenderung mendeskripsikan keadaan kehidupan masyarakat yang dekat dengan alam dan erat dengan keterangan waktu yang merujuk pada penanda hari sebagai petunjuknya. Dengan demikian, melalui penelitian ini, bahasa Melayu Papua dialek Papua Barat Daya dapat lebih dilestarikan sehingga terhindar dari kepunahan bahasa.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the influence of using visual media on students' ability to write poetry in the 10th grade of Teruna Padangsidimpuan Private Vocational School. The method used is quantitative research. The population of the study consists of 10 classes with a total of 285 students, and the sample is taken from the Machining Engineering class, totaling 33 students. Data collection technique involves 10 multiple-choice test questions (variable X) and 5 essay test questions (variable Y). Data analysis is conducted using the Pearson product-moment correlation formula "r." The results of the study show that the highest scores obtained for each variable are 90 and the lowest scores are 70, with average scores of 85.75 for variable X and 84.24 for variable Y. The value obtained from the Pearson product-moment correlation table is 0.419, considering the correlation "r" table with a value of 0.355 at a 5% error level with 33 degrees of freedom. This means that rcomputed=0.419 or rcomputed 0.419>0.355, indicating that the students' average level falls into the "Good" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of using visual media on students' ability to write poetry in the 10th grade of Machining Engineering at Teruna Padangsidimpuan Private Vocational School in the academic year 2023-2024.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the learning discovery learning model on the ability toidentify the structure of anecdote text for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Julu. This research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru, totaling 167 students. The sample used in this study were 26 students of class X IPA2 at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru consisting of 10 boys and 16 girls. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a test in which this test uses 10 multiple choice questions and 5 filled-in question. The results of the study show the difference in the average value of the X and Y variables. The average value of the X variable is 79,61 "Good" while the value on the Y variable test results is 78,46 in the "Good" category. After the data is analyzed, it can be stated that N = 26 with X = 2070, Y = 2040, X2 = 166100, Y2 = 161700, so XY = 163650. This is based on the hypothesis testing carried out on the data found, namely the hypothesis obtained that the value of rxy is 0,84 so when compared with the r table, namely (0,84> 0,38) then the hypothesis in this study is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' listening skills through the application of the storytelling method in Indonesian language learning. Listening is a fundamental skill in language acquisition but often receives less attention in the learning process. This research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, consisting of two cycles. The research subjects were 32 students of class XI DPIB 1 at SMK Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. Data were collected through observation, tests, and questionnaires, and analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The results showed a significant improvement in both student performance and classroom engagement. In Cycle I, only 46.8% of students achieved the excellent category, which increased to 59.375% in Cycle II. Student learning activity also improved from 57.05% to 86.65%. These findings indicate that the storytelling method is effective in enhancing students' listening skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai moral yang terkandung dalam novel Silam sebagai bahan ajar teks naratif di SMA Negeri 3 Panyabungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa tabel analisis moral yang terkandung dalam novel Silam yang berkaitan dengan bahan ajar teks naratif dalam KI 3.11 KD 4.11 yaitu (1) Nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan antara manusia dengan dirinya sendiri dengan meliputi lima sikap yaitu kejujuran, sabar, semangat, pantang menyerah, dan kasih sayang. (2) Nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan antara manusia dengan sesama manusia dengan empat sikap antara lain: menepati janji, saling berbagi, bekerjasama, dan peduli. (3) Nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan yaitu senantiasa berdoa, beribadah, dan bersyukur kepada- Nya.
