Abstract

The Regional Government of Denpasar City issued a policy regarding the provision of incentives. The incentives provided are in the form of additional incentives for teachers and headmaster, especially for public elementary schools in the Denpasar City area. The provision of incentives aims to make the headmaster more maximal in carrying out assigment or workloads, and to optimize the potentials that can be developed in the school (both in aspects of teacher and student achievement). Based on this background, a study was conducted which aimed to determine the effect of giving incentives on the performance of elementary school headmaster throughout Denpasar. The analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression. Based on the data analyzed, it was obtained 1) the variability of the dependent variable (primary school principal's performance) which can be explained by the variability of the independent variable (incentive giving) of 15.5% and the remaining 84.5% explained by other variables not included in the regression model and 2) giving headmaster incentives has a significant positive effect on the performance of elementary school principals throughout Denpasar.

Abstract

This correlational research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and tests. The sample used is a number of 80 people who are determined by the cluter random sampling technique. Hypothesis test used is simple and multiple regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 46%. There is a significant relationship between independent learning and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 39%. There is a significant relationship between creativity and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 64%. There is an influence between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with mathematics learning outcomes of students with a relative contribution of 62%.

Abstract

Kalkulus merupakan mata kuliah dasar yang ditempuh oleh mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika pada beberapa semester awal. Dalam mata kuliah Kalkulus ini salah satu materinya adalah Integral Rangkap Dua. Dalam proses pemecahan masalah Integral Rangkap Dua, mahasiswa harus mempunyai kemampuan representasi khususnya grafis. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi grafis mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Unmas Denpasar dalam menyelesaikan soal Kalkulus khususnya Integral Rangkap Dua. Tiga mahasiswa yang dipilih dari 19 mahasiswa program studi S1 Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar angkatan tahun 2016 kelas malam ditetapkan sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data adalah pemberian soal Kalkulus Integral Rangkap Dua dan wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelesaikan soal Kalkulus, mahasiswa kelompok tinggi memiliki kemampuan representasi grafis yang baik dalam aspek keakuratan namun masih kurang baik dalam aspek kelengkapan. Sedangkan untuk mahasiswa kelompok sedang dan rendah memiliki kemampuan representasi grafis yang kurang.
