Abstract

One piece of infrastructure that has an important role in a road network is a bridge. Bridges are land transportation infrastructure that is useful for continuing roads through existing obstacles such as rivers, so the collapse of a bridge will reduce or hold up traffic, which means disrupting the smooth transportation of people and goods. A bridge is a structure that crosses a river or other traffic barrier, so the collapse of the bridge will reduce or hold back traffic, which as a result will disrupt the comfort of traffic and disrupt economic relations. The purpose of a bridge inspection is to ensure that the bridge is in a safe condition for road users and also to secure the investment value of the bridge. In this thesis, we will discuss the identification of bridge condition checks which are carried out directly by conducting field surveys.

Abstract

Bridges are an important part of a road network system because they have a significant impact if the bridge collapses or if it does not function properly. A bridge is a structure that crosses a river or other traffic barrier, so the collapse of the bridge will reduce or hold back traffic, which as a result will disrupt the comfort of the public in traffic and disrupt economic relations. A bridge is a structure that crosses a river or other traffic barrier, which as a result disrupts people's comfort in traffic and disrupts economic relations (Bridge Inspection Guidelines 2012). Bridges are built so that pedestrians, vehicle or train drivers can cross these obstacles. However, it turns out that there are many types of bridges which of course vary both in terms of structure, strength and even construction costs. The main components of a bridge are the unity of the road embankment structure approaching the bridge, the sub-bridge structure and the bridge super-structure (BMS, 1993). The main objective of this research is to analyze the condition of the Sarolangun Batang Tembesi Bridge by observing it visually, assessing the technical condition of the bridge, and determining the priority order for bridge maintenance based on its condition value. However, the database results produced in this bridge management system are only limited to screening and ranking results in preparing bridge management programs (Directorate General of Highways, Bridge Management Systems, (1993), "IBMS General Procedure Guide", BMS, Department of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of heavy equipment in civil engineering, mining and large-scale earthmoving works is almost inevitable. In fact, this tool is a factor that really determines the successful completion of work on time in accordance with the required quality. When compared to human labor using simple conventional equipment such as hoes, shovels, baskets, pounding tools for compaction and so on, using heavy equipment has many advantages that promise benefits. Moreover, if a job requires technical requirements and high precision, then the choice of using heavy equipment is a very appropriate alternative. The advantage of using heavy equipment compared to manual tools is that you can complete construction work more quickly. Apart from optimizing working time, construction costs can also be adjusted. Tool productivity depens on the type of tool, worj method, work area conditions and the time needed to complete a job. So, an analysis of the calculation of the heavy equipment requirements required and an analysis of the implementation time required by each tool is required, taking into account the calculation steps, namely: calculating the production capacity of each heavy equipment in order to obtain the productivity value, so that the number of each tool required can be determined.

Abstract

Making a budget or cost estimate is part or project planning. The financial benefits that the constractor and project owner will receive depend on their level of axpertise in estimating the project cost. This research aims to identify which factors moast influence the level of accuracy of initial cost estimates at he construction stage and to find out how much influence these factors have on the level of accuracy of cost estimates. Primary data collection technique with asample of 14 respondents taken from the perceptions of contractors in jambi. The sampling technique in this research used the total sampling method. Data analysis processing in this research used microsoft excel 2010. The research result found that the factor that most influences the level of accuracy of initial cost estimates at the construction stage is the availability of data and information regarding the project with a mean value obtained 4,00 , the second factor is the technique or method used with amean value of 3,82 , the third factor is the skill and experience of the estimator with a mean value of 3,79 , and the fourth factor is the purpose of using the cost estimate with a mean value 3,40.

Abstract

This formwork plays a role in printing concrete for structural work such as foundations, sloofs, columns, beams, and floor slabs. This type of formwork is the main material used wood and plywood. Repeated use of materials can affect cost efficiency, but with good results. The location of this research was carried out in a public service mall construction project with a building area of + 462 m2 which was built on the Bukit Cinto Kenangan Sengeti office complex road, Muaro Jambi Regency. The method used is to collect the necessary research data, namely the Cost Budget Plan (RAB), Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP), Plan Drawings and material purchase reports. This study aims to compare costs between AHSP, RAB and material purchase reports needed for wooden and plywood formwork materials, namely the cost of AHSP of IDR 75,591,800 while the RAB is IDR 79,097,080 and the material purchase report is IDR 58,744,000. This study also calculates the volume requirements for repeated use of formwork (two times use) in column formwork work, the material of class III wood formwork is 5.373 while class II wood is 2.01 m3 and plywood is 47 sheets with 269 pieces of galam wood. In beam formwork work, the material of class III wood formwork is 5.29 m3 while class II wood is 2.38 m3 and plywood is 47 sheets with 265 pieces of galam wood.
