Abstract

Kebutuhan biosafety cabinet (BSC) menjadi hal yang sangat penting bagi setiap pengguna di laboratorium, karena alat ini merupakan aspek penting yang harus dimiliki dan merupakan bagian dari persyaratan keselamatan di laboratorium, terutama di laboratorium yang bekerja dengan jenis sempel patogen dan bahan kimia berbahaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengontrol komponen-komponen yang ada pada biosafety cabinet menggunakan  PLC outseal sebagai kontroler dan Mikrokontroller Arduino sebagai komunikasi sensor digital ke PLC outseal.   Sensor MPX digunakan untuk mengukur tekanan udara di dalam BSC, relay timmer untuk mengontrol lampu UV, dimmer untuk mengendalikan kecepatan putaran blower. Hasilnya adalah dengan menggunakan alat kontrol biosafety cabinet dapat mengefisiensi penggunaan biosafety cabinet dan memberikan rasa aman karena dioperasikan secara otomatis. Untuk mengetahui hasil pengujian alat didapatkan perbandingan dari error pembacaan, dimana hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai galat pada mode low sebesar 0%, mode middle sebesar 50% dan mode high sebesar 0%, serta mode auto sebesar 0%, dengan demikian berdasarkan data dari alat yang dibuat pada penelitian sangat memungkinkan alat kontrol ini dapat dimplementasikan pada biosafety cabinet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem pemantauan kualitas air yang berbasis pada jaringan sensor nirkabel (Wireless Sensor Network). Sistem ini terdiri dari beberapa node sensor yang terhubung secara nirkabel dan terletak di berbagai titik di sepanjang aliran air yang akan dimonitoring. Setiap node sensor akan mengukur beberapa parameter kualitas air seperti suhu, pH, kekeruhan, dan konsentrasi oksigen terlarut, dan mengirimkan data yang dikumpulkan ke sebuah sink node melalui jaringan nirkabel. Sink node ini akan menerima data dari node sensor dan mengirimkannya ke sebuah server pusat untuk dianalisis. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat dan real-time tentang kualitas air yang sedang dipantau. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik dan memberikan hasil yang akurat dan andal dalam pemantauan kualitas air. Sistem ini dapat digunakan untuk membantu menjaga kualitas air dan mendukung pengelolaan sumber daya air yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Every room at Pamulang University, Viktor Campus, Building B already uses air conditioning in the form of Air Conditioning (AC). AC is a device that requires a lot of power. The savings related to the use of AC are the background for this research with the implementation of a Pamulang University classroom temperature control system based on the Mitsubishi FX3U-24MR PLC. The use of photo sensors and temperature sensors in this system allows automatic control of the AC based on the presence of people in the room, temperature control outside the AC device is used as a comparison so that classroom conditions can remain comfortable. The aim is to optimize the use of AC and reduce efficient energy consumption. The design of this tool uses GXWorks2 software as a ladder diagram programming tool for the Mitsubishi FX3U PLC and Satool as a programming tool for creating data displays on the Samkoon HMI. The tool work system is equipped with Running Hours to monitor the working time of the AC device so that scheduling can be done from Monday to Saturday. Working time requirements are determined where Monday to Friday will be on (ON) at 07.00 am and will be off (OFF) at 09.40 pm, while Saturday will be on (ON) at 07.00 am and will be off (OFF) at at 06.20 pm. Calculation of AC power consumption under normal conditions is IDR. 79,875 per day and the estimated calculation of AC power consumption using a temperature control system is Rp. 55,468 per day, by using the Pamulang University classroom temperature control system based on the Mitsubishi FX3U-24MR PLC you can save usage costs of IDR. 24,406,272 per day.
