Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Mortality of ICU patients at Panti Rapih Hospital in 2020 reached 33.25%. Patient mortality can be caused by sepsis, cardiac arrest, ARDS, old age problems, comorbidities, VAP and postoperatively. Nurses have an important role in continuous monitoring. Objective: This study aims to identify factors associated with mortality in ICU patients at Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods: This study is a retrospective case-control quantitative study. The research population was 424 respondents, with a research sample of 208 respondents taken randomly with quota sampling technique. Data collection with medical record observation sheets. Analysis of univariate data using percentage analysis and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square and Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Results: The results showed that there was no significant relationship between age and patient mortality with p-value 0.266, there was a significant relationship between comorbidities and patient mortality with p-value 0.040, there was a significant relationship between sepsis and patient mortality with p-value 0.001 , there is a significant relationship between CPR and patient mortality with a p-value of 0.000, there is a significant relationship between ARDS and patient mortality with a p-value of 0.035, there is a significant relationship between VAP and patient mortality with a p-value of 0.000, there is a significant relationship between surgery and patient mortality with a p-value of 0.012. Conclusion: Statistics show that there is no significant relationship between age and mortality, there is a significant relationship between comorbidities, sepsis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ARDS, VAP, surgery and mortality of ICU patients at Panti Rapih Hospital. The need for clear indicators and policies regarding the criteria for patients being treated and transferred from the ICU on the basis of the benefits of intensive therapy. Abstract

Backround : Healing garden is a natural therapy facility for patients by presenting a natural atmosphere so that the patient can interact with the natural surroundings with the aim of making the patient feel comfartable, relaxed, optimistic and excited. Patients who are hospitalized are one of the groups thar are prone to experiencing anxiety. Abstract

Background: Mechanical ventilation weaningis a collaborative action of multidisciplines. The nurse's knowledge plays an important role in assessing the readiness of the patient and observing it during the weaning process to support the success of the patient escaping from mechanical ventilation. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the knowledge of nurses about mechanical ventilation weaning in the Intensive Care Room at Panti Rapih Hospital. Methods:This research is adescriptive analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all nurses who worked in the Intensive Care Room at Panti Rapih Hospital, Yogyakarta. The sample in this study was the total population, namely nurses in the Intensive Care Room, amounting to 48 respondents. The research instrument was avalid and reliable questionnaire on the level of knpwledge and influencing factors with a calculated r value of morethan 0.482 and cronbach alpha 0.75. Analysis using independent T-test and Spearman Results: The mean level of knowledge of respondents about mechanical ventilation weaning averaged 31.52 with CI7.458. Factors related to mechanical ventilation weaning knowledgein this studywereage (p-value:0.024), education (p-value:0.000), experience (p-value: 0.003), social and cultural (p-value: 0.009).), and sources of information (p-value:0.001). Meanwhile, the factors that were not related to knowledge of mechanical ventilation in this study were environment (p-value:0.115) and economy (p-value:0.231).

Abstract

Background: surgery can cause acute pain, this is caused because during surgery there is tissue damage that triggers cytokine discharge. Approximately 80% of patients undergoing surgery experience acute postoperative pain. 40% of patients experience moderate and severe pain during the first 24 hours after surgery. Planning related to pain management needs to be well prepared before surgery. One of the efforts that can be done to prevent the impact of postoperative pain is by educating pre-surgery by using pain management videos. By using audio visual media, the patient will more easily understand and perform pain reduction techniques. Purpose: to determine the effect of preoperative pain management on the postoperative patient pain scale. The research was conducted at one of the private hospitals in Yogyakarta on February 11-March 07, 2021. Method: Research design using pre experiment posttest only design, Population in this study as many as 41 respondents, sample selection is done with purposive sampling technique. The samples in this study were 30 divided into two groups, namely 15 respondents of the intervention group who were given education on deep breath relaxation techniques using video and 15 respondents of the control group. Result: data analysis conducted with Mann-Whitney test, obtained the result of p value 0.123 ( p value > 0.05), meaning there is no difference in the pain scale of the intervention group respondents and the control group. Conclusion: nurses should motivate and do mentoring when the patient applies the deep breath relaxation techniques that have been taught

Abstract

Background: The high mortality rate due to breast cancer who come to health services is at an advanced stage, because patients do not know about breast cancer such as risk factors, signs and symptoms and how to detect cancer early, in Indonesia, more than 80% of cases are found are in an advanced stage, where treatment efforts are difficult to do.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education about BSE with audiovisual for class XII students at SMK Jogonalan Klaten.Methods: This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test design approach. The sample in this study was obtained by 72 respondents obtained by accidental sampling technique.Results: The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxone test obtained p value = 0.000 (p <0.005) meaning that there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge of female students before and after being given health education using audiovisual about BSE.Conclusion: The results of the characteristics of the study showed that most of the respondents were 17 years old (66%), based on the characteristics of a family history of breast cancer, there were 70 people (97.2%), then the third characteristic, namely sources of information about BSE, were 67 people with a proportion of 93.1%. The results of research that has been conducted on the effect of health education using audiovisual on the level of knowledge of class XII students at Jogonalan Vocational School in self-breast examination (BSE) shows that the knowledge of students before being given health education is in the sufficient category, a large proportion of 38.9% and after being given health education some the majority of respondents have knowledge in the good category with a proportion of 87.5%.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kanker payudara adalah dimana sel kehilangan pengendalian dan mekanisme normal serta tidak terkendali yang terjadi pada jaringan payudara. Dengan mendeteksi kanker payudara sedini mungkin dapat menekankan angka kematian sebesar 25-30%. Salah satu cara mendeteksinya yaitu dengan melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri, perilaku seseorang dalam melakukan pemeriksaan ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor pengetahuan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku pemeriksaan payudara sendiri pada ibu perkumpulan minggu pahing di Dusun Katik RT 11 RW 05, Sapen, Manisrenggo, Klaten. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 89 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survey dengan alat pengumpul data kuisioner. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lebih dari setengah responden yaitu 51 orang (57,3%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang cukup dan lebih dari setengah responden yaitu 55 orang (61,8%) tidak patuh dalam melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri. Hasil uji analisis data dengan menggunakan pearson chi-square menunjukkan p value 0.124 (p>0,05) or = 0,508. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku pemeriksaan payudara sendiri. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya yaitu perlu melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait tingkat motivasi dengan perilaku.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang tidak dapat disembuhkan sehingga pasien hipertensi perlu menjalani pengobatan seumur hidup. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh pasien dapat memberikan perubahan perilaku terutama dalam melakukan pengobatan yang dianjurkan. Kepatuhan minum obat merupakan salah satu cara dalam mengurangi risiko komplikasi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada penderita hipertensi di Kalurahan Margorejo Tempel Sleman Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif korelatif. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sejumlah 77 responden yang diambil dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling pada tanggal 08-18 Desember 2022. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengobatan hipertensi dan kuesioner MMAS-8. Hasil: Data dianalisis dengan uji Chi Square p value adalah 0.001 (p value < 0.05) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada penderita hipertensi di Kalurahan Margorejo, Tempel, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Simpulan: Peneliti merekomendasikan agar penderita hipertensi meningkatkan informasi terkait pengobatan hipertensi terutama dalam komplikasi hipertensi serta kader diharapkan untuk meningkatkan dukungan keluarga penderita hipertensi.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a non-communicable, deadly disease whose treatment and care requires a lifetime. The goal of treatment and care is to control hypertension to prevent complications. There are still many hypertension sufferers who do not take hypertension medication regularly, resulting in uncontrolled blood pressure. One of the things that influences the fulfillment of medication for hypertension sufferers is family support. Family support includes esteem support, emotional support, instrumental support, and informational support. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and medication adherence among hypertension sufferers in Margorejo District. Method: The research method used in this research is descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 340 hypertensive patients in Margorejo Tempel Village, Sleman Yogyakarta and samples were taken of 5-6 people using proportional random sampling techniques. The research instrument used two questionnaires, namely the family support questionnaire and the medication adherence questionnaire. Data collection method using survey method. Results: The results showed that 51.9% of respondents had a low level of family support and 61% of respondents showed that they had low medication adherence. Chi-square test results showed a significant relationship between family support and medication adherence (p-value 0.032:, odds ratio: 2.783). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the level of family support and adherence to taking medication in hypertension sufferers in Margorejo Tempel Sleman Village.
