Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) To describe the planning of the Al-Qur'an literacy program at SD Negeri 02 Dalam Kaum in developing students' religious character. 2) To describe the implementation of Al-Qur'an literacy at SD Negeri 02 Dalam Kaum in developing students' religious character. 3) To describe the implementation of Al-Qur'an literacy at SD Negeri 02 Dalam Kaum in developing students' religious character. Researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research results show that: 1) Planning for the Al-Qur'an literacy program in training students' religious character at SD Negeri 2 in Kaum Sambas District for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely, the school principal determines the objectives of Al-Qur'an literacy, determines the method, and the media to be used. 2) Implementation of the Al-Qur'an literacy program in training students' religious character at SD Negeri 2 in Kaum Sambas District for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely, starting 15 minutes before lessons start by teachers who teach in class from Monday to Saturday, using the Al-Qur'an as a medium and using the grouping method. 3) embedding the Al-Qur'an literacy program in the religious character training of students at SD Negeri 2 in Kaum Sambas District for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely, students become more fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an and students' character becomes better, like students more ethical towards teachers and friends, more trustworthy in carrying out the responsibilities given, more honest and more disciplined, and the school environment becomes more conducive.

Abstract

This research was conducted because there were problems among some of the class I students at subsidized elementary schools Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas is less enthusiastic when learning, there are students who are sleepy and there are also students who look passive and pay little attention to the teacher when explainin the lesson material, this is because students prefer to be in their own world such as drawing, talking and playing with his des mates, joking and making noise, these problems indicate weakness student’s motivation to study. Therefore, the class I teacher tries to create a pleasant class atmosphere by using the ice breaker game. The aim of this research is to reveal the types, impact and supporting and inhibiting factors carried out by class I teachers in using ice breaking. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The results of the research are the type of ice breaking waht wase done was ice breaking, applause, shouts, songs, body movements and games. Impact of implementation ice breaking students are happy when the ice breaking is done, students are enthusiastic and more active in learning. Supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing ice breaking, supporting factors for students being happy when ice breaking is carried out, students become enthusiastic and more active in learning, the inhibiting factors are: different student characteristics and time constraints.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore: 1) The implementation of strategies by Islamic Religious Education teachers in cultivating students' interest in memorizing Juz A’mma among eighth-grade students of SMPN 10 Teluk Keramat; 2) Fostering students' interest in memorizing Juz A’mma among eighth-grade students of SMPN 10 Teluk Keramat. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is ensured through triangulation and member checks. The findings reveal: 1) The implementation of strategies by Islamic Religious Education teachers in memorizing Juz A’mma, specifically targeting eighth-grade students. Students are required to memorize a minimum of 12 chapters annually as a prerequisite for final grades/report cards, utilizing memorization, talqin (repetition), talaqqi (listening to recitations), and tikrar (repetition) strategies, and preselecting the chapters to be memorized. 2) Fostering students' interest in memorizing Juz A’mma among eighth-grade students of SMPN 10 Teluk Keramat involves providing motivation, elucidating the benefits and virtues of reading the Quran, rewarding extensively memorized students with high grades, continually monitoring their memorization progress, and incorporating Quranic literacy techniques before and after learning.

Abstract

The study of this research is the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer at SD Negeri 18 Sadayan fot the 2022-2023 academic year. The aim is to describe the class teacher’s strategy planning to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer. Describe the implementation of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate students to perform the duha prayer. Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI student’s to perform the duha prayer. The approach used is qualitative with a type of phenomenology. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and verivication. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation and member check. The result is a strategic plan for the class teacher to motivate class VI students to carry out duha prayers including gradual habituation, starting habituation and continuous habituation. The implementation of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to perform the duha prayer includes increasing the ability to memorize the reading of the duha prayer and improving the ability to practice the duha prayer. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer, namely supporting factors: school principal, students. Inhibiting factors: facilities and infrastructure.
