Abstract

Introduction: The older people have various health problem and one of them is insomnia. Physiologic changes of aging, environmental conditions, and chronic medical illnesses contribute to insomnia among elderly. Insomnia in this population is associated with decreased memory, impaired concentration, and impaired functional performance. Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the condition of insomnia among elderly after being given combined exercise with reflexology and reflexology only before and after the intervention. Method: This research used a quasi-experimental design with pre-post design with the control group. Sampling was carried out systematically during the study period with samples was taken according to inclusion criteria. The target number of samples is set using the difference formula average. The instruments that measure Imsonia used is PIRS. Data analysis was carried out on all subjects in both groups A and B with analysis statistics measuring the difference between PIRS before and after intervention. Results: The results of the Mann-Whitney test before the intervention in group A obtained a mean rank of 16.07. Before the intervention in group B obtained a mean rank of 19.45. Statistically, it showed that the difference was not significant, p=0.33 (p>0.05). The results of the Mann-Whitney test after intervention in group A had a mean rank of 22.10 and after intervention in group B had a mean rank of 14. 93. Statistically showed a significant difference, p=0.04 (p<<0.0) Conclusion: We found that there was a change in the condition of insomnia before and after the combination intervention (group A). The average decrease in insomnia scores for the elderly was carried out using the Pittsburg Insomnia Rating Scale (PIRS) questionnaire> However, there was no change in the condition of insomnia. statistically significant. Likewise, in group B, the average insomnia score decreased and was statistically significant

Abstract

Introduction: Health traditional / CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) has Lots of Mothers interested in pregnant to overcome several complaints and objections to comfort during pregnancy. Besides they feel worried about consuming therapy However attention exists several side effects requires enough information Objective:  Know description effort counseling about health traditional or CAM to Mother Pregnant Method: studies literature about counseling /educational use of Health traditional or CAM for Mothers pregnant. Library data collection, or object research his research dug through diverse information bibliography. Using secondary data, via several related articles with health traditional /CAM. The analysis uses an annotation bibliography, which can be interpreted as a list of sources used in something study given a conclusion related to what is written in it Results: Review from the article as many as 5 and with the essence society uses a type of health method traditional / CAM to avoid the effect of side treatment Because the public considers treatment traditional/complementary relatively safer. There are many types of methods during pregnancy medicines and herbal plants. However, it means without risk rise, a pregnant must have competent knowledge about the utilization of therapy safe complement during pregnancy That reason CAM is used because CAM is easily obtained and cheaper costs. Conclusion: Socialization and Counseling health traditional /CAM required concerning utility type/modality Health Traditional /CAM safety or side effect necessary attention and condition Mother pregnant That Alone. Counseling involves husband, family, and energy health and midwives at the Community Health Center. Furthermore, more exploration carries on about the perception and meaning use health traditional. Next expected can increase synergy between service health conventional and health traditional/CAM.

Abstract

Ensuring patient safety is a crucial aspect of healthcare including TM/CAM, particularly in the field of women's health. Healthcare providers must prioritize the safety of women during pregnancy and childbirth to prevent any harm or potential risks. This research used a traditional review, increasing the amount of literature that has been read and analyzed by the researcher. Normative-juridical principles in a prescriptive analytical manner with a statutory regulatory approach and the thinking method is deductive. General patient safety principles can be used in TM/CAM services by implementing the International Classification of Patient Safety (ICPS). Women are at risk due to their genital, hormonal, and pregnancy characteristics and may be affected by disease conditions acquired before or during pregnancy, and complications from physiological events at the end of pregnancy. Regulations on traditional health services and women's health care in Law No. 17 of 2023 and other regulations. This arrangement must guarantee safety, quality, and affordability. Patient safety is specifically regulated by Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2017 concerning Patient Safety. TM/CAM health services have developed in society and have to assess quality and safety standards, registration and accreditation have been established and TM/CAM health service practitioners, both those with formal and non-formal education, are required to have a competency certificate and Registration Certificate (STR). And Licenses (SIP) and Traditional Healers Registered Certificate (STPT).
