Abstract

This research explores the challenges and opportunities in implementing Management Information Systems (MIS) in Islamic Education Institutions.  Management Information Systems plays an important role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of resource management, while strengthening the trust of various related parties. This study uses the literature review method by analyzing relevant literature, journals and case studies. The results show that the implementation of SIM can facilitate access to information, improve reporting regularity, and strengthen academic and administrative monitoring and evaluation. However, the implementation faces several obstacles, such as lack of understanding of technology, limited resources, resistance to change, and data security issues. To overcome these challenges, a holistic approach is needed through technology training, effective change management, and strengthening data security policies. In addition, increased understanding and support from policy makers are also key factors in successful SIM implementation. With the right strategy, SIM can be optimally utilized to improve the quality of education management in Islamic Education Institutions.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF THE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) METHOD ON STUDENTS’ LEARNING ACTIVENESS IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONThis study was motivated by the low level of students’ learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) classes. Data from 2025 indicate that student participation was only 40%, involvement in group assignments was 52%, and engagement in individual tasks was 45%. This issue stems from the lack of variety in teaching methods and students’ low motivation. As a solution, the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method was implemented, which is a cooperative learning model that emphasizes collaboration among students in small groups. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a pre-test and post-test control group design. The research subjects consisted of two seventh-grade classes, each comprising 20 students. The experimental class used the STAD method, while the control class used conventional methods. Data were collected through tests measuring students’ learning activeness before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and Independent Samples T-Test with the aid of SPSS. The results showed an increase in the mean scores of learning activeness in both classes, with a higher increase in the experimental class. The mean pre-test score of the experimental class was 76.10, which increased to 87.00 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the control class increased from 75.75 to 83.90. The t-test results indicated a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of less than 0.05, which means there was a significant difference between the two groups. The average N-Gain score for the experimental class was 80.75%, while the control class achieved 79.68%; both fall into the high-effectiveness category, but STAD demonstrated superior results. It can be concluded that the STAD method is effective in improving students’ learning activeness. Students’ activeness increased through discussions, group collaboration, and individual responsibility within the groups. Besides its pedagogical relevance, this method also reflects Islamic values such as mutual assistance in goodness and collective responsibility. Therefore, the STAD method is recommended as an alternative approach to enhancing learning activeness in IRE instruction.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of active student participation in the classroom, as reflected in 2025 data: only 20% of students asked questions, 36% answered, 28% participated in discussions, and 12% expressed opinions during the learning process. This condition is caused by a rigid classroom atmosphere, limited space for movement, and a classroom layout that does not support peer interaction. This study aims to explore the planning, implementation, and evaluation of classroom layout, as well as its impact on student interaction. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, categorized as field research. The research subjects included the classroom teacher, principal, administrative staff, and students at MI BPPI Citiis Sukabumi. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that: 1) classroom planning considered visual comfort, viewing distance, and access to learning media; 2) the implementation process included flexible seating arrangements, use of visual media, and attention to cleanliness; 3) evaluations were conducted informally and regularly by the teacher; and 4) the impact included increased student interaction, willingness to ask questions, and stronger teacher-student relationships. The study concludes that appropriate classroom layout contributes to more active and meaningful learning interactions.

Abstract

Tujuan pembahasan artikel ini yaitu mengkaji tentang konsep tauhidullah sebagai substansi pendidikan islam. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mencari sumber dan merkontruksi dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan riset-riset yang sudah ada. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis konten. Artikel ini menyimpulkan pendidikan Islam mengajarkan tauhid sebagai inti pendidikan untuk membentuk taqwa siswa. Dengan pemahaman komprehensif tentang tauhid, siswa dapat memiliki karakter dan sikap yang baik. Pendidikan Islam mengintegrasikan konsep kesatuan untuk mengembangkan siswa yang memiliki kesadaran spiritual, kecerdasan intelektual, moralitas yang baik, dan keterampilan sosial yang seimbang. Ini meliputi penghargaan terhadap lingkungan, hubungan harmonis dengan sesama manusia, pengamalan ajaran agama, dan mencapai tujuan hidup yang abadi dengan Allah. Pendidikan Islam menawarkan pendekatan holistik yang terintegrasi untuk membentuk siswa yang tercerahkan, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, penuh kasih sayang, dan solidaritas.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya akhlak di kalangan siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari meningkatnya kasus tawuran, kekerasan, dan tindak kriminalitas di kalangan remaja. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskritif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 100 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis menggunakan Teknik SEM dengan SmartPLS versi 4 adalah metode untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel dalam model kompleks. SmartPLS versi 4 memfasilitasi analisis dengan fitur untuk model struktural, validitas, reliabilitas, dan pengujian hipotesis, terutama ketika data tidak normal atau sampel kecil. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pertama, Kecerdasan Emosional berhubungan signifikan dengan Akhlak Remaja, dengan pengaruh sebesar 17,9%. Kedua, Kecerdasan Emosional memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan Kegiatan Keagamaan, dengan pengaruh sebesar 37,1%. Ketiga, Kecerdasan Intelektual memengaruhi Akhlak Remaja, dengan pengaruh sebesar 21,1%. Keempat, Kecerdasan Intelektual berhubungan signifikan dengan Kecerdasan Emosional, dengan pengaruh sebesar 50,2%. Kelima, Kecerdasan Intelektual memengaruhi Kegiatan Keagamaan, dengan pengaruh sebesar 47,5%. Keenam, Kegiatan Keagamaan berhubungan signifikan dengan Akhlak Remaja, dengan pengaruh sebesar 50,7%. Hasil uji ini menggambarkan kompleksitas hubungan antara variabel dalam penelitian, yang melibatkan faktor-faktor yang beragam.
