Abstract

The sliding door is a type of door that works by sliding the door to the right or to the left. The sliding door is a type of door that is suitable for use in a room with small volume, because the sliding door does not require a large space. lack the sliding door when the door has been closed, lack the sliding door when the door has been closed, there still exists a gap between the open doors and walls so that air can be in and out freely. with the construction of the door using the hinge mechanism, can minimize these conditions. To make the sliding door works automatically, the authors make a set of control system that uses an analog system and the concept of open-loop control system. “dc motor” is used as drive for the door and “central lock actuator” as locking doors. On the control circuit voltage source used is equal to 12V. Control circuit components used are double circuit push button (NO and NC), 12V relay 8 feet, limits switches, motor DC of power windows, central lock actuator. The components were assembled for the purpose of changing the polarity of the DC motor is regulated by a relay mechanism. By changing the polarity of the dc motor, the motor can rotate to the left and to the right, so the door is connected to the motor would be moves to open and close according to the motor movement.

Abstract

The basic principle of metal formation is to change shape by giving an external force so that plastic deformation occurs. One example of this formation is wire drawing. The important parameter in wire drawing is the drawing force, which is the force needed to deform the wire to produce the desired reduction. The measurement of withdrawal force is carried out through a wire drawing test equipped with a dynamometer, which consists of load cell and strain gauge. From this test, the withdrawal force can be measured as an electrical quantity that can be read using a multitester or computer. For wire drawing testing dynamometers are designed and made as measuring sensors for withdrawal forces on a laboratory scale. From the results of testing with a dynamometer the average wire drawing force for copper reduction I was 72.88 kgf, copper reduction II was 95.88 kgf and brass was 126.50 kgf. The price of this test is greater than the theoretical price

Abstract

Palm empty fruit bunches (EFB) fiber content ± 70 % and can be used for elastic    fiber, matrix, mattresses, rugs and raw material fiber -based composite board products, but until now has not been utilized to the fullest . The problem is not the availability of processing unit generates EFB fiber in small scale . One of them is the processing unit thrasher EFB. EFB counter technology that exists today is a large scale that can only be owned by the oil palm industry with a capacity of ± 4,124 kg/hour. For small-scale fiber industry needs a minimum engine capacity of census enumerators ± 300 kg/hour, but this machine is not yet commercially available.In general, the purpose of this research is small scale EFB cutting machines with a capacity of 200-300 kg/hour, the design parameters and identify optimum operating conditions for each component with the technical test of the prototype. From the results obtained machine design an engine capacity of 300 kg/hour, with a few major components, namely counter unit, unit funnel in and out, frame and drive unit . From the results of design calculations obtained engine power 15 hp motor drive with 1450 RPM rotation with 3 phase. From the results of the testing machine in the first enumeration results obtained by the size of the pieces of shredded EFB ± 7 x 7 ( cm ), while the second enumeration stage shredded EFB size becoming smaller ± 3 x 3 ( cm ).

Abstract

Hama adalah hewan yang mengganggu atau merusak tanaman sehingga pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada tumbuhan terganggu. Hama bisa merusak tanaman secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Dalam penanganan hama ini petani masih menggunakan alat penyemprot hama manual, adapun alat semprot elektrik, baterainya tidak bertahan lama. Untuk mengurangi masalah dalam penanganan hama ini penulis membuat mesin penyemprot hama kapasitas 10 L menggunakan sumber listrik solar panel.Dalam pembuatan mesin penyemprot ini komponoen – komponen utama mesin ini adalah panel surya 50 wp, SCC 10 A, baterai/aki 20 AH, pompa dc 12 V. Panel surya digunakan untuk sumber listrik dari mesin ini, energi listrik yang dihasilkan akan di simpan di aki dan di control oleh SCC. Energi listrik yang telah di simpan di aki akan digunakan untuk menghidupkan pompa yang berfungsi untuk memompakan air dalam tabung, di aliri ke selang dan stick sprayer untuk melakukan penyemprotan.Dari hasil pengujian didapat data panel surya dengan nilai rata – rata I sebesar 1,25 A, rata – rata V 12,33 Volt. Lama ketahanan baterai adalah 12 jam 56 menit, juah penyemprotan 2 meter dan lama waktu penyemprotan adalah 9 menit 30 detik

Abstract

Repeated heating of paml oil has a greater effect to produce high levels of trans fat. The excess consumsion of food contained trans fat is couse of diabetes and coronary heart diseas. The oil spinner machine of 10 kg capacity are proposed to overide this problem because it is able to throw the oil particles out from the fried food caused by centrifugal force. The drying area is a 50 cm long tube having diameter of 40 cm which is driven by an electric motor single-phase 1 Hp 1400 rpm. In order to increase the speed of the drying tube into 2800 rpm, a 6 inch diameter pulley attached to the motor shaft while a 3 inch is mounted on a 10 cm diameter drying tube shaft. The two pulleys are connected by means of an open belt drive with a length of 60 inch and 187,480 the contact angle.

Abstract

Processing of coffee skin peelers generally still uses manual or semi-mechanical peelers and to overcome this, a mechanical coffee peeler driven by a gasoline motor is needed. The purpose of modifying this coffee skin peeler machine is to find the perfect tools that have been made previously. This machine modification is expected to help the process of peeling the coffee skin so that it can improve the quality of the coffee. The implementation method for modifying the coffee peeler machine starts with the plan, preparing the construction materials for machines, gasoline motors, gears and chains, peeling rollers, push rollers, iron plates and elbow plates. The next stage is assembling the machine and the engine position. The process ends with testing the tool, data analysis, and concluding the results of the tool. The result of specification this modified coffee peeler machine is capable to peel the coffee skin until 241.2kg/hour. The engine dimensions are 74 mm x 31 mm x 105 mm, using a gasoline motor of 1 hp 2800 rpm, the frame uses an elbow profile of 30 x 30 x 3 mm, the transmission system uses 2 pulleys D = 75 mm and 200 mm connected to a type A v-belt -54.

Abstract

Now, washing carpets no longer requires a lot of human power. Just one person can wash carpets on a large scale at the same time as three human workers. By using this carpet brush machine, the job of cleaning carpets will be easier and faster. The aim of designing this machine is a form of innovation and creativity in a carpet brush machine with an electric motor drive. The machine is made with the addition of a detergent channel tube to make work easier and increase efficiency. The working principle of this carpet brushing machine is that when the motor is turned on, a pulley with a size of Ø 76.2 mm will rotate with a rotation of 1400 rpm, followed by a belt with a size of 24 inches to rotate the pulley on the shaft with a rotation of 703.5 rpm with a pulley size of Ø 152 mm. The rotation will be continued by the shaft, and the brush will rotate to clean up dirt or stains on the carpet. In making this machine, we obtained a motor power of ½ HP and a rotation of 1400 rpm. This machine has dimensions of 580x380x980 mm and uses a belt and pulley transmission with brush components. This carpet washing machine is used for MSME businesses (micro, small and medium businesses)
