Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal's leadership and teacher competence on teacher performance at Cluster II State Elementary Schools, Tanjungsasri District, Sumedang Regency. The research method uses a quantitative approach. The population is all Cluster II State Elementary Schools, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency with 105 teachers. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire through the distribution of questionnaires. Analysis of research results using descriptive statistics, correlation and simple and multiple regression using SPSS. The results of the study prove that: 1) there is an influence of principal's leadership on teacher performance in Cluster II SDN throughout Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency. The magnitude of the influence of principal's leadership on teacher performance is 43.2%, the remaining 56.80% is determined by other variables; 2) there is an effect of teacher competence on teacher performance in Cluster II SDN in Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency, the magnitude of the influence of teacher competence on teacher performance is 52.10%, the remaining 47.90% is determined by other variables; and 3) there is an effect of principal leadership and teacher competence on teacher performance together of 75.9%, this means that principal leadership and teacher competence together can affect teacher performance in Cluster II throughout Tanjungsari District, District Sumedang is 75.9% and the remaining 24.10% is determined by other variables that are not examined.

Abstract

This paper aims to improve the quality of education in Maruyung II Public Elementary Schools. The Image Strategy has been implemented at Maruyung II Public Elementary Schools in the 2019-2020 academic year. This study uses qualitative data. The data is obtained from the documentation and practice of education service providers at the Maruyung II State Elementary School with the sample in this study including students in grades I to d. VI totalled 343 students. The data is obtained from the documentation and practice of education service providers at the Maruyung II public elementary school. It can be concluded that the Motekar method can increase the number of teachers according to their needs and qualifications. The increasing image of the school is evidenced by the increase in public trust so that many parents send their sons and daughters to school so that the number of students from year to year increases. Facilities and infrastructure have increased, which previously did not exist. What was there became better. With the Motekar Strategy, the principal will become the 1st winner of the outstanding school principal in Tanjungsari District in 2022.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of online learning and improve the quality of education at SDN Maruyung II Strategi Citra in the 2019-2020 academic year until now. This study uses qualitative data. Data were obtained from documentation and practices of education service providers at SDN Maruyung II, with samples in this study including students in grades I to VI totaling 343 students. Based on the results of the analysis, the increase in the school's image is evidenced by the increase in public trust, so that many parents send their sons and daughters to school so that the number of students increases from year to year. Facilities and infrastructure have increased from non-existent to existing; what previously existed has become better. With the Motekar Strategy, the principal became the winner of the Outstanding Principal in Tanjungsari District in 2022. So it can be concluded that the Motekar method can increase the number of teachers according to needs and qualifications.
