Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic education brings significant changes to the learning system, pedagogical approach, curriculum development, and spiritual development of students. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic education in the era of artificial intelligence through the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah. The study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach through a review of various scientific literature, educational theories, and contemporary thinking on AI and Islamic education. The results show three main findings. First, AI makes a positive contribution to the effectiveness, personalization, and accessibility of learning through adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring systems, and digital education platforms that can improve the quality of the teaching and learning process. Second, in the dimensions of pedagogy and curriculum, AI encourages the creation of student-centered learning models, improves critical thinking skills and creativity, and demands the reconstruction of the Islamic education curriculum by integrating digital literacy, AI ethics, and Islamic values ​​in a balanced manner. Third, in the spiritual dimension, AI integration should not only be oriented towards technological advancement, but should also strengthen moral awareness, spiritual intelligence, and humanistic values ​​grounded in Islamic teachings. The Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah perspective serves as an ethical foundation to ensure that the implementation of AI in Islamic education continues to support the protection of religion, reason, morality, and human well-being. Therefore, the integration of AI in Islamic education needs to be directed towards creating an educational system that balances technological innovation and the strengthening of spirituality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the learning by playing method in improving the motor development and creativity of students at Daru Khoir Kindergarten, North Lampung. This study uses a qualitative field research method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the principal, teachers, and students. The application of the learning by playing method is carried out through various educational activities such as movement games, drawing, coloring, building blocks, collages, and interactive group games. The results of the study show: first, the application of the learning by playing method is carried out through active, interactive, and fun play-based learning so that students are easier to follow the learning process and are directly involved in various motor and creative activities. Second, supporting factors for the development of motor and creativity of students include interesting learning methods, the active role of teachers, and the availability of educational learning media, while inhibiting factors include limited children's concentration, excessive use of gadgets, and limited certain learning facilities. Third, the application of the learning by playing method has positive implications for the development of gross and fine motor skills, increased creativity, self-confidence, social skills, and the creation of a more participatory and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Thus, the learning by playing method is an effective learning alternative in supporting the development of early childhood in the PIAUD environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of religious moderation through multicultural learning for students at STAI Ibnurusyd Kotabumi in the digital era. This research is motivated by the increasing challenges of intolerance, radicalism, and the spread of unverified religious information through digital media that influence students' mindsets. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of lecturers and students involved in the multicultural learning process on campus. The results of the study indicate that: first, the implementation of multicultural learning is carried out through the integration of values ​​​​of tolerance, respect for diversity, open dialogue, and the use of digital media in the learning process. Second, supporting factors for strengthening religious moderation include institutional commitment, the role of lecturers, a harmonious academic environment, and the use of digital media as an educational tool. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are low student digital literacy, the negative influence of social media, and the persistence of exclusive religious understanding. Third, multicultural learning has positive implications for increasing students' attitudes of tolerance and religious moderation. Students become more open to differences, able to think critically about digital information, and develop social awareness in maintaining harmony in a pluralistic society. This research confirms that multicultural learning is an effective strategy for strengthening students' religious moderation in the era of digital transformation.
