Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in supporting the tourism industry. This condition is a great opportunity for MSMEs. The target market for MSMEs is not only local tourists but also foreign tourists. In reality, there is competitive competition on the ground. This condition affects not only local MSMEs but also foreign business actors. Numerous studies confirm that the Ansoff Model can facilitate the development of development plans. However, there has been little research in the MSME export area. This research contributes to increasing product competitiveness in export markets. This study uses a mixed research design (mix method). This research employed both interview activities and the distribution of questionnaires. The first stage involved distributing questionnaires to nine MSMEs that had carried out export activities. We carried out instrument mapping through internal factor evaluation (IFE), external factor evaluation (EFE), and SWOT analysis. The Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) analysis reveals a positive difference value of 1.25. The strengths are greater than the weaknesses. The External Factor Evaluation (EFE) analysis reveals a positive difference score of 0.95. The opportunities that an organization has are greater than the threats. The Ansoff Model reveals market penetration as a viable strategy. MSME players need to pay attention to their target market. Global markets are more complicated because they involve different rules. Furthermore, MSME players need to consider the market opportunities they have. We must introduce the product's quality and characteristics on a large scale. The accuracy with which MSME actors analyze situations enables them to compete in any market.

Abstract

Beberapa POKDARWIS memiliki permasalahan dalam peningkatan kapasitas dan keterampilan SDM. Keadaan tersebut memberikan dampak terhadap pengelolaan dan perkembangan desa atau kampung wisata. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat kualitas dan kapasitas SDM melalui program sadar wisata 5.0 yang digaungkan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia. Beberapa agenda kegiatan yang dilakukan berfokus pada: 1) pendampingan dan penguatan SDM POKDARWIS, 2) penguatan konten digital marketing, 3) memperkuat pemahaman generasi muda terhadap perkembangan pariwisata dan 4) memperkuat kerjasama dengan lembaga pendukung pariwisata. Kegiatan ini diikuti 30 peserta kegiatan yang berasal dari berbagai elemen masyarakat di kampung wisata Purbayan. Kegiatan ini berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas serta keterampilan SDM sebagai upaya menciptakan pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan, sebanyak 27 peserta (90%) telah memahami pentingnya kerjasama antar SDM serta mampu meningkatan kapasitas dan keterampilan SDM. Lebih lanjut, kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu mamberikan dampak positif terhadap pengelolaan kampung wisata Purbayan yang berkelanjutan. Penguatan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, mampu tertuang dalam nota kesepahaman yang menjadi langkah awal kerjasama diperiode berikutnya.

Abstract

Pariwisata menjadi salah satu sektor yang mampu memberikan sumbangan terhadap perekonomian negara. Kondisi tersebut secara langsung berdampak pada munculnya industri pendukung pariwisata serta peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat. Lebih lanjut, pariwisata juga memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat, seperti: penurunan emosi negatif, penyediaan lapangan kerja, hingga meningkatkan kualitas dan potensi wilayah. Pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat merupakan cara yang dapat diimplementasikan. Masyarakat sebagai instrument utama pengelolaan pariwisata memainkan peranan penting. Sebagai penggerak utama, keberadaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pariwisata menjadi hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam menciptakan pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan dapat mengacu pada prinsip pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa penerapan prinsip pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat di desa wisata Poncokusumo. Implementasi desain penelitian mix methode digunakan dalam studi ini. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kusisioner, wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jika prinsip pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat mendapatkan respon baik. Penerapan prinsip pengelolaan berbasis masyarakat antara lain: perhatian terhadap lingkungan, pemberdayaan ekonomi dan masyarakat, peran serta masyarakat, peningkatan kualitas SDM, dan perhatian terhadap nilai seni, budaya serta aktivitas masyarakat telah diimplementasikan dengan baik.

Abstract

Front office menjadi departemen yang berperan penting dalam pelayanan tamu. Departemen ini memiliki beberapa divisi, seperti: greeter and bell boy, front desk attendant, telephone operator dan guest relation officer. Sebagai salah satu bagian dari front office, keberadaan guest relation officer (GRO) sangatlah penting. Salah satu tugas penting yang dijalankan adalah memastikan tamu mendapatkan layanan terbaik. Standar layanan yang jelas perlu disusun untuk menciptakan kepuasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat standar layanan yang diberikan guest relation officer dalam menciptakan kepuasan tamu hotel. Desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Fokus penelitian ini membuka selubung praktek layanan Guest Relation Officer (GRO) pada Hotel Kirana Yogyakarta. Kegiatan wawancara semi terstruktur digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Beberapa instrument menjadi tema utama antara lain: responsiveness, reliability, assurance, empathy dan tangible. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah staff Guest Relation Officer yang berjumlah tiga orang. Metode Miles Huberman dan Triangulasi digunakan dalam analisa dan validasi data penelitian. Beberapa instrument yang digunakan telah sepenuhnya diterapkan oleh Hotel Kirana Yogyakarta. Instrument tersebut secara nyata menjadi aspek yang mampu menciptakan kepuasan tamu. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai panduan dalam menerapkan konsep layanan berkualitas guna menciptakan kepuasan tamu.

Abstract

Ecotourism is a sustainable tourism activity that utilizes nature and displays environmentally friendly tourist attractions. Ecotourism has several parameters for managing tourist attractions. These parameters include travel to the location, minimizing negative impacts, appreciation of local culture, economic impact on society, environmental awareness, economic benefits through conservation and freedom of management. This research aims to analyze the application of the ecotourism concept. A qualitative descriptive use to investigate the Patihan tourist village. The informants in this research were the Patihan tourist village manager, the surrounding community and tourists. The Miles Huberman method to analyze the data. The research results show that the ecotourism concept has yet to be fully implemented by tourism village managers. Instruments providing an economic impact on society, environmental concerns, and economic benefits through conservation have not been fully implemented. Attention to developing tourist villages through ecotourism needs to create sustainable tourism.

Abstract

The development of Information technology has e a wide-ranging impact on every business, including print media. The ease and speed of public in getting information is one of its own threats, plus competition between similar businesses is no less Great. The Baldrige Kriteria is a concept that can be used to evaluate performance, encourage and study of a company to be excellence and sustainable. Baldrige Criteria consist of 7 pillars, namely : Leadership, Strategic Planning, Focus on Consumer and markets, measurement analysis and knowledge management, focus on human resources, management of business processes and results. The purpose of this study was to analyse the application of the concept of Baldrige criteria in the printed media (PT. BP Kedaulatan Rakyat) in an effort to create excellence and sustainable companies. This study uses a qualitative methode with a descriptive approach that is integrated to the concept of Baldrige Criteria. Data collection in this study uses in-depth interviews, observation, documentary methods, visual materials and literature study. The subject of this study were several employees from variousparts of the company. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that the management of the company is not in accordance with the Baldrige Criteria. The results of the study explain that the attributes used have not been fully applied, so it is necessary to have an appropriate program to become a excellence and sustainable companies.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has forced tourism industry players to adopt various digital platforms. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the AGODA digital portal as a marketing channel. This research was conducted to complement previous research on other digital portals such as tiket.com, traveloka, and several other portals. The quantitative research design was carried out by distributing questionnaires as a data collection technique and two experiments were carried out. The first experiment was to test the effect of product narrative (copy writing), while the second experiment tested the effect of product photo quality on the perception of quality and tourists buying interest. Based on the research conducted, the first experiment shows that the influence of product narrative (copy writing) affects the perception of quality and tourist buying interest. While in the second experiment, through MANCOVA analysis to see the involvement of respondents who chose five-star hotels, there was a significant difference between the two groups of respondents. Respondents in each experimental group have confidence that the perceived quality and purchase intention are higher than in the control group. This study has limitations because it only examines one digital portal, namely AGODA. Several other digital portals, such as traveloka, pegi-pegi, and tiket.com, have differences when compared to AGODA. The implication of this research is that if the influence of product narrative (copy writing) has a big impact on marketing activities, it needs to be developed

Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the impacts produced by the tourism sector. On the next trip, the development of tourism also stimulated the emergence of tourism-supporting industries such as transportation, culinary, souvenirs, and crafts. In an effort to create sustainable tourism, the presence of the batik craft industry as a tourism supporter is very much needed. Talking about green environmental issues, the batik industry also has the potential to threaten environmental sustainability. Referring to this, management needs to pay attention to and prepare various things that support business sustainability. Green human resources are interpreted as an effort to maximize their potential. This step is an organizational strategy for responding to green challenges and performance. This study will look at the extent to which green human resource management practices support the management of the management business. A qualitative research design through a literature study was used with reference to existing provisions. The results of the study explain that green human resource practices are able to support improving the quality of human resources. Some efforts that can be made include searching for human resources through screening, providing training and optimizing human resources, conducting human resource assessments, and providing appropriate rewards for the performance provided.
