Abstract

Learning is a word often heard and it is an activity done by everyone started since birth, childhood, teens, up to the adulthood. It can be stated that learning is a process occurring from birth to death. It is an activity done a long the life. Furthermore, Learning is a process occurring in various aspects. How can the learning process occurring according to human cognitive activity? According to psychology, learning process is formed due the presence of the psychological ability of the internal aspect of human to respond the stimulus. The response is then processed through indra. From indra, perception, association, reproduction, fantasy, memory, thinking, are all formed to rich what is called intellectual ability. Cognitive activity process is different between one individual to another.

Abstract

This study aims at comparing religious application level between students learning at Islamic boarding school, Islamic senior high school, and state senior high school. This study, also, analyzes religious application level in terms of gender, and the domi-nant religious aspect of application. The religious scale was employed to collect data to 225 year-two senior high school students, 110 females and 115 males. The data were analyzed by using a two-way variant. The result indicates that there is a significant difference (p=0,008) in terms of religious application level, where the students of Islamic boarding school are better than those of Islamic senior high school, while the students of Islamic senior high school are better than those of the state senior high school. This study also reveals that female students are better than their male counterparts in terms of religious application (p=0,000). Finally, the study suggests that the religious aspect which students implement dominantly is worship.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the correlation between religious and counselling application and the trend of the students of SMAN Makassar to use drug. The data are collected by religious scale, counselling application scale, and the scale of drug abuse. The object of the research consists of 956 of XI year class of SMAN Makassar. The data analysis applies Multiple Regression technique. The findings shows that (1) there is a significant corre-lation between religious application and the use of drug of the students of SMAN Makassar, where p = 0,000. (2) The study did not find any significant correlation between counselling application and drug abuse of the students of SMAN Makassar, where p = 0,055.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orangtua terha­dap prestasi akademik mahasiswa pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alaud­din Makassar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala pola asuh orang­tua, dan nilai Indeks Prestasi Komulatif mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian seba­nyak 109 responden yang terdiri atas 85 mahasiswi dan 24 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini ada­lah pe­ne­litian kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunkakan analisis regresi me­la­lui program SPSS for Windows 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien nilai sig­nifikansi p = 0.325 dimana nilai p > 0.050 yang berarti bahwa tidak ter­dapat pe­nga­ruh pola asuh orangtua terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa pada Fa­kul­tas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar.Abstract:This study aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns on student aca­demic achievement at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alaud­din Makassar. The research instrument used was the parenting style scale, and the student's achievement index scores. The sample of the research was 109 res­pondents which consisted of 85 female students and 24 male students. This re­search was quantitative. The data analysis used was regression analysis through SPSS program for Windows 21. The result showed that the coefficient of sig­ni­ficance of the p-value was 0.325 where p>0.050. This means that there was no in­fluence of parenting styles toward the student academic achievement at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training of UIN Alauddin Makassar.
