Abstract

Background: Knowledge plays an important role in determining the behaviors that influence maternal motivation to come to Posyandu because Posyandu is oneway easier to know the mother and toddler infant growth. In the village ofBanteran the number of infants who come to posyandu quite low at 60.6%. Objective: To determine the relationship between maternal knowledge aboutposyandu with maternal motivation come to Posyandu in the village of the DistrictBanteran Contribute in 2008. Methods: The study is an analytic correlation with cross-sectional approach. Thepopulation is mothers who have babies in the village of the District BanteranContribute Banyumas regency totaling 736 people. Sampling is done by clusterrandom sampling with 74 people. The research instrument used questionnairesand data analysis with Spearman Rank correlation test with significance level of0.05. Results: Of the 74 respondents who have knowledge of both categories posyandumany as 37 people (50.0%). And of the 74 respondents were motivated to come toPosyandu high category as many as 44 people (59.5%). Spearman RankCorrelation test results are known r-value calculated at 0,433dan p-value of0.000 (<relationship between maternal knowledge about posyandu with maternalmotivation to come to Posyandu. The relationship obtained (0.433) included inthe category of moderate because of the value of r-count is in the range from 0.40to 0.559. Conclusion: There is a relationship between mother's knowledge on workmotivation and motivation posyandu mother to come to Posyandu.

Abstract

The number of elderly poeple from year to year is increasing; this hasconsequences on the improvement of services to the elderly one in the village ofLedug. With active in elderly posyandu expected Ledug elderly in the village havea good health status.To determine the relationship between active elderly in theelderly with health posyandu elderly. The research was conducted in the VillageLedug District Kembaran Banyumas. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional approach.Sampling technique cluster sampling used questionnaire as a means of collectingdata which was distributed to 71 respondents. Analysis of the data used is byusing chi square. The results of this study is a significant relationship exists between theactivity of the elderly with health elderly where P value 0.00 <0.05. Respondentswith high activity have a good health status. A total of 49,3% elderly haveexpressed good health status. In this study a significant relationship exists between the active elderly inthe elderly with health posyandu elderly. Key words: activity, aging, health.

Abstract

Status of work is an attempt to change a person's income so that the needs aremet. In women who have a high activity or low income mothers so that motherscan not allocate income to meet the nutritional intake of children aged 6-24months with the well so that it can predispose a mother who has good knowledgebut has stunting.The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the nutritional status ofchildren aged 6-24 months between working mothers and the mother does notwork. The research method uses analytic observation with a sampling technique issimple random sampling conducted by cross sectional. Number samples are 71respondents. How is the data collection observation and interviews.Data analysis used contingency correlation coefficient t. Results of researchmengggunakan contingency coefficient t which shows the difference nutritionalstatus of children aged 6-24 months with working mothers and Differencesnutritional status of children aged 6-24 months with the mother does not work.based on the level of significance (approx. Sig.) 0237 values obtained over thecriteria of significance of 0.05. Abstract

Background: This study explores the use of finger grasp therapy to relieve pain in post-hemorrhoidectomy patients at RSUD Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of finger grasping relaxation therapy on acute post-hemorrhoidectomy pain at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. Method: this research method uses a descriptive, paper-based approach, sampling using purposive sampling conducted on 1 patient. Data was collected through interviews, physical examination, and observation. Results: There is a decrease in pain from a scale of 6 (moderate) to 3 (mild) in the implementation for 3 days Conclusion: Finger grasping therapy as a non-pharmacological method in reducing post-hemorrhoidectomy pain
