Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the failures of exclusive breastfeeding is the lack of a mother's level of confidence that her mother's milk cannot fulfill her baby's nutritional needs. Efforts that can be made to stimulate the hormone prolactin and oxytocin in the mother after childbirth is to provide a relaxed sensation in the mother by doing Woolwich massage and rolling massage (back). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of Woolwich massage methods and Rolling Massage on Asi production in post partum mothers. Research site in the Work Area of Mapane Health Center, Poso Regency. The type of research used was Quasi Experimental. Data analysis was performed by the chi squre test. The results of the study showed that 95.8% of the intervention group respondents had enough baby weight while in the group without intervention it was 70.8% with a value of p = 0.048. Frequency of BAK: 87.5% of respondents in the intervention group had sufficient frequency while in the group without intervention it was 45.8% with a value of p = 0.006. BAB frequency in the intervention group 100% frequency is sufficient while in the group without intervention is 91.7% with a value of p = 0.015. This research is expected to be applied by midwives and taught to mothers and families so as to increase ASI production so that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is achieved in the area of the Research Health Center. Keywords: Combination of Woolwich Massage and Rolling Massage, ASI Production

Abstract

Postpartum mothers are afraid to do many movements. If mothers do early ambulation, it can facilitate the process of uterine involution. This research is aim to clear out the effect of puerperal gymnastic on the uterine involution process to postpartum mothers. It uses a quasi-experiment design and Pretest and posttest control group design. The sampling technique uses an accidental sampling technique. The instrument in this study is the observation sheet, leaflet, andgymnastics guide.Statistical test using the Mann Whitney test. Before performing puerperal gymnastic, the average of the Fundal Height (Tinggi Fundus Uteri) of the intervention group was 10.9 cm, and the average of Fundal Height of the control group was 10.9 cm. The statistical test obtained p-value=0.457, which means there is no difference in the average the Fundal Height between the intervention group and the control group. Whereas after childbirth exercise, the average of Fundal Height of the intervention group was 0.9 cm, and the average of Fundal Height of the control group was 7.3 cm. Statistical test obtained p-value <0.001.To sum up, there is an effect of puerperal exercise on uterine involution speed. Suggestions for Puskesmas Kampung Baru, especially the midwives, are to provide postpartum gymnastics services for postpartum mothers to accelerate uterine involution.

Abstract

Leucorrhoea is a clinical disorder that is often complained of by all women. For young women who are just entering puberty with all forms of phenomenal changes in themselves, this problem will have a negative impact in the future if it is not addressed early. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of adolescent girls' knowledge about personal hygiene with Leucorrhoea. This research was an analytic research with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was 36 female students in class X and class XI in Pagimana I Senior High School. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling. The results were obtained by 33 knowledgeable (91.7%). Adolescents who have good knowledge and experience Leucorrhoea as many as 19 people (57.6), who do not Leucorrhoea 14 people (42.4%), who lack knowledge and experience Leucorrhoea as much as two people (66.7%), who do not have Leucorrhoea as much as one person (33.3%). Chi-square test showed p-value=1,000. The conclusion of the study, there is no relationship between the knowledge of adolescent girls about personal hygiene with Leucorrhoea. Suggestions for adolescent girls to maintain good personal hygiene to prevent Leucorrhoea.

Abstract

Introduction: The incidence of anemia in women is 27.2% higher than men, 20.3%, mostly in the age group 15-24 years. The decrease in hemoglobin levels is caused by low intake of iron and other nutrients as well as the menstrual process. The coverage of giving blood tablets in Sigi Regency in 2019 was 81.25%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving green bean juice and blood-added tablets to increase hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Methods: Quasi-experimental research method with pretest-posttest control group design method. The population is young women aged 12 to 16 years with a total of 32 respondents. The research was conducted in the working area of ​​the Kinovaro Health Center. Results: The results of Hb levels in adolescent girls after being given the intervention of mung bean juice and added tablets are 2 g/dl with a p-value of 0.022, which means that there is a significant difference before and after giving green bean juice and blood-added tablets to the increase in hemoglobin levels of adolescent girls. Conclusion: Giving mung bean juice and blood-added tablets had a significant effect on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Suggestions are giving green beans and blood-added tablets once a week is very beneficial for young women in overcoming anemia.

Abstract

Introduction: Back pain and low back pain are discomforts that are often encountered in third trimester pregnant women this is due to changes in the structure of the mother's body due to increasing gestational age. Purpose: The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of pregnancy exercise on reducing the discomfort of back pain and low back pain in third trimester pregnant women. Methods: This research was a pre-experimental research design with the One Group Pre test - Post test Design approach. The sample of this research was third trimester pregnant women who experienced back pain and low back pain in the Mamboro Public Health Center area. The number of samples of this research was 33 people, taken using total sampling technique. The hypothesis of this research is accepted that there is an effect of pregnancy exercise on reducing the discomfort of back pain and low back pain in third trimester pregnant women in the Mamboro Public Health Center area in Palu. Results: The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test analysis, it indicates that the ρ value of back pain before and after pregnancy exercise is 0.002 (<0.05) and the ρ value of low back pain before and after pregnancy exercise is 0.029 (<0.05). Conclusion: Thus, there is an effect of pregnancy exercise on reducing the discomfort of back pain and low back pain in third trimester pregnant women.
