Abstract

Child nutrition problems can be handled from the start through the activation of the posyandu. The first screening was conducted at the posyandu by comparing body weight with age. Each cadre has a different attitude and performance in implementing posyandu. The use of assistive devices can influence the attitude and performance of cadres. The aim is to determine the effect of LINZI media on cadres' attitudes and performance. The sample used 25 treatment groups and 25 control groups. The attitude with paired t test showed that in the control group there was a difference between the pre test and post test p = 0.042 (p 0.05) and the treatment group p = 0.04 (P 0.05). The performance of paired t test showed that in the control group there was a difference between before and after p = 0.001 (p 0.05) and p = 0.000 (P 0.05) in the treatment group. There is the influence of LINZI media education on cadre attitudes with an average score of 33.08 treatment attitudes greater than controls 32.96. There is the influence of LINZI media education on the performance of cadres with an average performance score of 26.16 greater than the control 24.84. Cadres can use LINZI media for early screening of toddlers' nutritional status that is more interesting and easy to use.

The practice of treating LBW baby at home is assessed after the baby comes home with a checklist. Data analyzed using paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test. The results were dominated by the age group of 20-35 years old, most of them have the level of secondary education and work as housewife. There was an effect of discharge planning on postpartum mother to the practice of infant care LBW with p-value 0.0001. There was an increase of the mean for the control group (3.05) and the treatment group (9.45). The involvement of mothers in care when the baby is still in the hospital and the hospital can give discharge planning about baby care at home before baby LBW is allowed home.

Abstract

Postpartum depression is a mood disorder that occurs after childbirth and reflects the psychological dysregulation that is a sign of major depression symptoms. The incidence rate in Indonesia is between 50-70% of postpartum women. It is known that age, education level, employment status, income, family type, BMI, parity, type of delivery, number of living children, exclusive breastfeeding and physical activity affect postpartum depression. Knowing the effect of age, education level, employment status, income, family type, BMI, parity, type of delivery, number of living children, exclusive breastfeeding and physical activity on postpartum depression. This study used a quantitative analytic method, with a cross-sectional technique. It was conducted from August to October 2020. The sample of this study was 62 respondents who had babies aged 1 - 3 months. The research instrument used the IPAQ to measure physical activity data and the EPDS to measure the risk of postpartum depression. There was a relationship between age (p = 0.008) and BMI (p = 0.030) with the risk of developing postpartum depression (bivariate analysis) and there was a simultaneous relationship between family type factors (p = 0.002), exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.001) and activity. physical (p = 0.008) with a risk of postpartum depression. Factors of age, BMI, family type, exclusive breastfeeding and physical activity influence the occurrence of postpartum depression. Attention in the form of help from others to care for themselves or their babies and their daily needs, comfort to reduce fatigue as a triggering factor for postpartum depression

Abstract

Osteoporosis is a health problem that results in a high incidence of morbidity, disability, decreased quality of life and mortality. Decreasing bone mass density (DMT) in women is associated with decreased estrogen levels as a contributing factor in bone formation. This can occur due to several factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, and long-term use of contraception, including Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (DMPA) contraception. (Tahir, 2009).This study uses a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Health Center area, Semarang Regency. The sample in this study were 81 respondents. Data analysis in this study was Univariate and Bivariate using nonparametric statistical test, namely chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that there was a correlation between age risk factors with symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05). There was no correlation between the risk factors for body mass index with symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05) There is no correlation between risk factors for exercise habits with symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05). There is no correlation between risk factors for caffeine consumption and symptoms of osteoporosis in DMPA KB acceptors in the Tengaran Region Health Center (p 0.05).The intake of nutrients that contain enough calcium is very necessary for DMPA KB acceptors, especially women who experience cessation of the menstrual cycle as an effort to prevent osteoporosis. Screening osteoporosis could be planned, especially DMPA KB acceptors aged over 35 years

Abstract

Preeclampsia is the major cause of maternal-neonatal death, with an estimated incidence 2-8% of pregnancies. The purpose of this study was to determine risk factors that most influence the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women in Jambi province. This study used an analytic observational method with a case-control study design. By using purposive sampling, 125 pregnant women with preeclampsia were found as a case group at Raden Mattaher Hospital and 125 normal pregnant women as a control group at Lambur Health Center. The results showed there was a significant difference between age (p-value 0.002), parity (p-value 0.073), gestational interval (p-value 0.0001), hypertension history (p-value 0.0001), Multiple Pregnancy (p-value 0.366), BMI (p-value 0.0001 ) and hemoglobin levels (p-value 0.003) with incidence of preeclampsia. Then multiple  logistic regression analysis showed  that hemoglobin level (OR 23.5/CI 3.5-157.3), hypertension history (OR 13.2/CI 4.4- 39.5) and BMI (OR1 6.1 CI 2.5-15.3/ OR2 5.0 CI 2.1-12.0) are the  most dominant risk  factor  that  causes  preeclampsia. The conclusion there are relationship between age, gestational age, hypertension history, BMI and hemoglobin levels with the incidence of preeclampsia

Abstract

Throughout 2021 the City of Semarang has experienced 88 floods in several different locations. In order for the community to become more independent in the health sector, it is necessary to develop active alert villages and sub-districts where one of the components is health cadres and Health Crisis Management. The community empowers itself through the active role of cadres. Communities prevent, mitigate/reduce the threat and risk of disaster impacts, and increase their ability to adapt, reduce risks, save themselves and recover better. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge, attitudes and preparedness of health cadres in dealing with floods as part of community empowerment. This study used a quantitative analytic method, with a cross-sectional technique. It was conducted from August to October 2022. The sample of this study was 35 respondents. The results showed that there was a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of health cadres towards flood disaster preparedness (p = 0.04 and p = 0.027). The results of the study provide an overview of how preparedness must be owned by every family and health cadre in facing the possibility of natural disasters, in this case floods.
