Abstract

The research aims to (1) the description of development needs of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior, (2) the prototype of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior which is valid and acceptable, (3) the acceptance of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior in SMAN 1 Kediri. The research was development research or research and development which was based on research stages by Borg and Gall. The research employed collecting data technique through interview and scale. The results of research revealed that (1) the description of needs level of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior showed that the video media very important and needed, (2) the prototype of Guidance and Counseling Video Media developed was already valid and acceptable to Reduce Bullying Behavior, (3) the acceptance of Guidance and Counseling Media Video which was given to 10 students in small group test showed that there was change of bullying behavior level before and after viewing Guidance and Counseling Video Media. This meant that guidance and counseling media video could reduce bullying behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermula dari dihilangkannya jam kelas bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) serta masih kurangnya jumlah guru BK di SMA Negeri Sekota Tabanan. Peneliti ingin mengkaji lebih jauh mengenai motivasi, makna profesi, dan pengalaman komunikasi yang dialami oleh guru BK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pendekatan ini mencoba untuk mencari pemaknaan mengenai bagaimana manusia mengkonstruksi makna dan konsep-konsep penting dalam kerangka intersubjektivitas. Pada penelitian ini data diperoleh dari sepuluh guru BK sebagai key informant. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga kategori yang melatar belakangi alasan untuk menjadi guru, yaitu keinginan pribadi, arahan orang tua dan lingkungan pergaulan atau pertemanan. Hasil penelitian ini juga memunculkan dua kategori makna identitas guru BK, yaitu makna positif dan makna negatif. Makna positif dinyatakan pada guru sebagai orang tua, dicintai anak-anak, membantu siswa mengenali dirinya, harus tahu segala hal, dan guru yang sempurna. Makna negatif dinyatakan pada guru sebagai ganjal pintu dan guru yang masih dianggap sebagai polisi sekolah. Pengalaman komunikasi guru BK berlangsung pada konteks komunikasi antarpribadi, kelompok dan organisasional. Guru BK sebagai komunikator pendidikan harus memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional. Gambaran kondisi guru BK dalam memaknai profesi diharapkan dapat dijadikan rujukan pengambil kebijakan agar lebih memahami secara mendalam mengenai pentingnya keberadaan guru BK di sekolah.

Abstract

This research focused on the effectiveness of online based-learning applications that are applied due to physical distancing policies. Physical distancing was applied by the Indonesian government as a preventive for the transmission of the COVID 19 virus, but it was not very successful because positive numbers continue to grow. COVID pandemic 19 changed various people's lifestyles in all fields including the education sector. The irony of the impact occurring in the education sector related to student finances which dropped dramatically without any income. There was news of a pseudo UKT 10% discount policy. This has decreased the spirit of students in learning because online learning uses a large quota. Various learning applications are gaining in popularity among students ranging from paid to not. Experiments on each application showed the advantages and disadvantages of each. This research used purposive sampling by using a questionnaire as data collection material, and literature study as an approach model. The results showed 65% of students chose Whatsapp as an efficient alternative to learning.

Abstract

The study was conducted to find out about the existence of guidance and counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study focuses on how BK teachers deal with students in adjusting and what guidance is provided during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses quantitative research with survey method. This study was conducted to find out how important BK teachers are in providing guidance and counseling services to students during the pandemic. The researcher used a sample of seven schools in Kediri tabanan which consisted of two high schools and five junior high schools, with 36 respondents as a number of students and of them there were 6 students who conducted a direct survey with the researcher. The conclusion of this study is that students need online counseling services, especially in the field of interests and talents, and the role of guidance and counseling teachers at this time is very important.
