Bali has a variety of traditions that can become an attraction for cultural tourism, one of which is the Makare-Kare tradition found in the Bali Aga Village, namely the Tenganan Pegringsingan Traditional Village. As a Balinese Aga community, the Tenganan Pegringsingan Traditional Village has a distinctive style and identity compared to the Balinese people in general. The development of the Makare-Kare tradition every year experiences changes that lead to a more complex one through the development of tourism in the Tenganan Pegringsingan traditional village which has a positive impact and the Makare-Kare tradition is included in the intangible cultural heritage category. This tradition still exists and runs without any significant changes that can obscure the meaning or noble values of the makare-kare tradition, this is due to the persistence factor of the Tenganan Pegringsingan traditional village community in applying village law or awig-awig. This study uses a qualitative method with the data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data through an ethnographic approach. Keywords: cultural tourism, Makare-Kare tradition, intangible cultural heritage.
