Abstract

A This research is motivated by the feeling of morality that arises on the inmates involved in drug cases and theft. The presence of anxiety experienced by the inmates in the cell both psychologically and socially. But the focus in this study is: 1) The mental health deskription of the prisoners is seen from social feelings. 2) The mental health deskription of prisoners is seen from feelings of morality. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. key informants as much as 2 people and additional informants as many as 4 people, Instruments that researchers use in this research is interview. Data analysis techniques such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results can reveal that: 1). The mental health deskription of the inmates is seen from the social feelings that prisoners are able to socialize and be able to get closer to other inmates, the inmates are able to perform activities and obey the rules that are in the cell, for example: eating together, praying congregation, sharing together and exercising together. 2). The mental health deskription of the inmates is seen from feelings of guilty that feel guilty by breaking the law and regretting his actions, the prisoners promise to serve punishment or regulation, and behave well during the sentence. Able to undergo all the obligations that are in the cell as given the responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and comfort while in the cell. Based on the results of the study can be recommended to inmates to be able to control the psychic emotions while undergoing punishment in the cell.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of families who have not been able to shape children's discipline, such as children who are not allowed to wear socks to school and allow children to come late to school. This study aims to describe: 1) The role of the family as a protector of family members. 2) The role of the family as the socio-economic family. 3) The role of the family in fostering the basis for the principles of social life. 4) The role of the family as an initial socialization process. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were 199 class VII students. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique with a total of 67 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire which was analyzed by using the percentage technique. The results of the research on the role of the family in forming children's discipline revealed that: 1) The role of the family as a protector of family members was in the very good category with a percentage of 45.45% 2) The role of the family as the socio-economic family was in the very good category with a percentage of 46.97 % 3) The role of the family in fostering the basics for the principles of social life is in the very good category with a percentage of 72.73% 4) The role of the family as the initial socialization process is in the very good category with a percentage of 74.24%. From the research findings, it is recommended that families be able to maintain the family's role in shaping children's discipline

Abstract

This research background is student’s interpersonal communication skills are less good, the students are to be silent, can not express their opinions. The purpose of this research : 1) description of student’s interpersonal communication before implemented group guidance, 2) description of student’s interpersonal communication after implemented group guidance, 3) Effectiveness of the using discussion methods on group counseling guidance discussion toward improving students’ interpersonal communication skills.This research was quantitative research. The method used in this research was quasi experiment research design by using discussion method in group counseling guidance toward students. Sample taking was used purposive sampling technique. Quantity of sample in this research there were 10 students. Instrument used in this research was questionaire. While, technique of data analysis was used t-test technique.The result of this research revealed that: 1) description of student’s interpersonal communication before implemented group guidance was in less good criteria, 2) description of student’s interpersonal communication after implemented group guidance was in good enough criteria, 3) effectiveness of the using discussion methods on group counseling guidance discussion toward improving students’ interpersonal communication skills seen in effective criteria. Result of this research recommended to the counseling guidance teachers toward improving students’ interpersonal communication by using discussion method, because the existing of discussion method in group counseling guidance is useful toward improving students’ interpersonal communication.
