Analysis of Trend and Forecast of The Gross Regional Domestic Product of The Agricultural Sector In Central Java Province Syahrindra, Affan; Ekowati, Titik; Prastiwi, Wahyu Dyah

Abstract

The study aimed to 1). analyze the GRDP trends of the agricultural sector in Central Java Province, 2). analyze the contribution of each agricultural subsector to the formation of the agricultural sector GRDP in Central Java Province 3). analyze each district/city's contribution to the formation of the agricultural sector GRDP in Central Java Province. The research was carried out in February-March 2022 in Central Java Province. Secondary data method were used in the research. The data were obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics. Time series data on agricultural sector GRDP in Central Java Province during 2011-2020 were being used in the study. The least quadratic method were used to analyze the GRDP trends, completed with a line graph prediction of the trends. The agricultural subsector contribution analysis was conducted by calculating the contribution between the total GRDP of the agricultural subsector and the total GRDP of the agricultural sector of Central Java during Years 2011-2020. The analysis of the contribution of the district/city agricultural sector was conducted by calculating the contribution between the total GRDP of each district/city and the total GRDP of the agricultural sector of Central Java during 2011-2020. The results of the study show that the graph formed by the trend increases. The results of the agricultural subsector's contribution analysis showed that the largest contribution contributed by the food crop subsector with 34.59%, while the smallest contributed by agricultural and hunting service activities with 1.94%. The results of the contribution analysis showed that the largest contribution contributed by Brebes County with 9.02%, while the smallest contributed by Magelang City with 0.09%. In conclusion, the GRDP of the agricultural sector in Central Java Province has been on the rise and is forecast to continue to increase.

Abstract

The success measurement of a financial institution can be seen from the number of its members necessity are being met and its financial performance. One of the problems that makes it difficult for cooperatives to develop is financial management. The research aimed to 1). To find out the role of the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative in helping farmers to access their farming needs, 2). Compare the financial performance of the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in January – February 2022 at the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative. The survey method is research carried out using questionnaires as a research tool taken from samples in a population. The data used is primary data obtained from interviews with respondents and secondary data obtained from books, journals and previous reports. Data were analysed using financial ratio analysis. Independent sample t test was conducted to test the hypothesis of the second research goals. The results are based first object showed that the role of the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative in helping farmers are as followed: as a provider of production inputs; provider of agricultural equipment; provider of agricultural information, financing farming business, marketer, and promotion agent as well as money saving activities. Financial performance based on liquidity and solvency ratios were found in good criteria. Meanwhile, rentability ratios were found in poor criteria. The results of the independent sample t test on the current ratio, solvability ratios and rentability ratios showed there are no differences in financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the result of the Mann-Whitney test on the quick ratio also found there are no differences in financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze factors that influence the production of spring onions in Sidomukti Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency. Research was conducted in January 2022 – February 2022 in Sidomukti Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency. The research method was a survey method. Sample was determined by simple random sampling method with the number of respondents as many as 52 onion farmers. The method of data collection was carried out by structured interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis method and then followed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the average yield produced by farmers in Sidomukti Village was 767 kg/planting season with an average land area of ​​3446 m2. Factors of land area, seeds, fertilizers, and labor simultaneously affect production. Variations in the value of the variables of land area, seeds, fertilizer, and labor were able to explain the variation in the production value of 65,3%, the remaining 34,7% was explained by variables outside the model. The production factors of land area and seeds partially have a significant effect on the production of leek farming, while the production factors of fertilizers and labor partially have no significant effect on the production of leeks in the research area
