Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of human resource management practices to organization performance and talent management as a mediating factor in the relationship. This research uses methodology with an explanatory study by testing three hypotheses. A hundred managers from several coal companies in East Kalimantan Province are collected as a sample in this research. SEM (Structural Equation Model) is used to analyze the data which is collected by questionnaire. The result of this study found that: (1) Human resource management practices affect talent management positively and significantly; (2) Human resource management practices doesn’t affect organization performance significantly; (3) Talent management affects organization performance positively and significant. This research has a managerial implication to guide the decision maker in the company or manager in the human resource management to implement talent management to improve organization performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan yang merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan kinerja perusahaan, sehingga memudahkan perusahaan untuk fokus pada faktor-faktor yang signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan dan sebagai referensi bagian sumber daya manusia dalam menentukan kebijakan strategis dalam menangani kinerja karyawan.Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa faktor penghargaan karyawan, kepuasan karyawan, perilaku karyawan dan gaya kepemimpinan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa faktor motivasi karyawan, pengembangan karyawan dan lingkungan kerja pada perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang fabrikasi lepas pantai pengaruhnya tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.Keywords: Motivasi Karyawan, Pengembangan Karyawan, Lingkungan Kerja, Sistem Penghargaan Karyawan, Kepuasan Karyawan, Perilaku Karyawan, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya proses pengambilan keputusan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional di sektor perbankan. Pengambilan keputusan yang efektif dapat membantu bank mengidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah dengan lebih cepat dan efisien, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan layanan pelanggan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Proses pengambilan keputusan biasanya melibatkan mengidentifikasi masalah atau peluang, menganalisis situasi, menetapkan tujuan yang spesifik, mengembangkan strategi alternatif, mengevaluasi setiap strategi, menerapkan strategi yang dipilih, dan mengevaluasi keberhasilannya. Aspek internal dan eksternal, kekuatan dan kelemahan organisasi, Kebutuhan dan keinginan pelanggan, juga dapat membantu dalam mengevaluasi strategi alternatif dan memilih yang paling sesuai. Selain itu, faktor eksternal seperti kebijakan pemerintah, persaingan, teknologi, dan kondisi pasar juga harus dipertimbangkan. Secara keseluruhan, pengambilan keputusan yang efektif dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan profitabilitas bank di pasar. Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to determine the factors of work motivation, work facilities, compensation and work environment affect the quality of work of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) banking namely PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, PT Bank Mandiri and PT Bank Negara Indonesia in the city of Batam. This research is descriptive quantitative research in which data collection uses primary data (questionnaires) containing questions about the variables studied. The target population of this study are employees of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) banking companies in Batam City such as PT Bank Mandiri, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia. Then the sample in this study the author set 100 samples using stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that the variables of work motivation, work facilities and compensation do not affect the quality of work. While the work environment variable is the right variable in influencing the quality of work in three State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) banks PT Bank Mandiri, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia and PT Bank Negara Indonesia.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly fierce business competition, the quality of human resources (HR) is one of the key factors that determine the success of a company. One Boulevard Food Court realizes the importance of HR as a valuable asset that plays a role in ideation, driving performance, and implementing activities to achieve company goals. However, currently, the employee assessment and recruitment process implemented is not optimal in supporting overall HR development. The unstructured system creates problems in determining the quality of prospective employees and evaluating the performance of existing employees. The unclear criteria and subjective assessment process resulted in many employees who did not meet the company's expectations. It is necessary to design a more structured employee assessment and recruitment form to overcome this problem. This formula is designed based on the company's needs analysis and includes criteria to assess employee competencies, skills, and potential. Through this system, One Boulevard Food Court is expected to increase transparency and efficiency in the administration process, as well as ensure that recruited employees meet the required quality.

Abstract

Teachers at State Junior High Schools in Batam City, Riau Islands Province, have varying work ethics. The varying performance of teachers is caused by education, training and experience gained while working. The problem in State Junior High Schools in Batam City is the less than optimal achievement of teachers. Based on the problem, it is suspected that there are several influencing factors, namely leadership, work place, motivation and work commitment felt by teachers. This study aims to analyze the mediating role of work commitment in the influence of leadership, work place, motivation on teacher achievement. The study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The data used in this study used primary data obtained from the answers of 125 respondents. The results of this study support the proposed hypothesis, namely: Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Work Commitment. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Work Commitment. Work Place has a positive and significant effect on Work Commitment. Work Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Teacher achievement. Work Commitment can mediate the positive and significant influence between leadership variables, work place and motivation simultaneously on teacher achievement in SMP Negeri Batam City. The managerial implication of this study is that the role of work motivation needs to be considered more deeply to improve teacher achievement to accomplish the targeted goals, because this variable has a positive and significant influence both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

                Human resources are a vital asset for companies in achieving their goals, with transformational leadership and organizational commitment serving as key factors in acquiring high-quality human capital. This study aims to examine the role of organizational resilience in strengthening the influence of transformational leadership and organizational commitment on organizational performance in the manufacturing sector. In an increasingly dynamic business environment, organizational resilience becomes a crucial factor in maintaining optimal performance. Effective transformational leadership and strong organizational commitment are often identified as two main pillars in improving organizational performance. However, challenges from both external and internal environments demand organizations to possess resilience in order to adapt and survive. This study employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through a survey conducted in manufacturing companies in Batam. The analysis results indicate that organizational resilience serves as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment on organizational performance. These findings highlight the importance of developing transformational leadership strategies that foster resilience, as well as enhancing organizational commitment to achieve sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the social dynamics between regular students and students with special needs at Sekolah Dasar Alam Karawang, to analyze the factors influencing social interactions in inclusive classrooms, and to describe the strategies used by teachers to facilitate positive social interactions between both groups. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the social dynamics between regular students and students with special needs in inclusive classrooms are varied. Regular students generally show curiosity and a willingness to help, while students with special needs—such as those with ADHD, autism, and cerebral palsy—face challenges in communication, emotional regulation, and social behavior. Interaction barriers are also influenced by the lack of understanding among regular students about the concept of inclusion, which often leads to negative attitudes. However, with proper guidance and sustained interaction, empathy and acceptance can be developed. Teachers play a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment through collaborative learning strategies, heterogeneous grouping, and providing education on diversity to all students.
