Abstract

Teknologi yang semakin berkembang menjadikan pekerjaan manusia menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Dengan adanya teknologi kegiatan manusia yang biasanya dilakukan secara manual saat ini sudah banyak yang digantikan oleh sistem. Salah satu teknologi yang paling popular dan banyak masyarakat menggunakan adalah SMS (Short Message Service). Dari sebuah teknologi yang bernama SMS sekarang bisa dikembangkan menjadi SMS Gateway yang mana berfungsi untuk menggantikan tugas manusia menyalurkan informasi secara cepat dan lebih efektif kepada banyak orang. Dalam penelitian ini akan mengimplementasikan Pengelolaan Informasi Tenaga Kerja Pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kulon Progo Berbasis SMS Gateway. Sistem ini akan digunakan untuk menyalurkan informasi lowongan pekerjaan kepada para pencari kerja di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Lowongan Pekerjaan akan diinformasikan kepada pencari kerja yang telah mendapatkan kartu kuning setelah melakukan pendafataran dan mengisi biodata di Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi. Aplikasi SMS Gateway akan dibuat menggunakan framework Laravel dan database SQLite. Pada Penerapan dilapangan aplikasi akan digunakan oleh lingkungan internal Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Unit Bidang Pengembangan dan Penempatan Tenaga Kerja.

Abstract

Perlintasan kereta liar tanpa palang pintu dan tanpa penjaga merupakan awal mula sering terjadinya kecelakaan di perlintasan kereta api. Salah satu solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini dengan pembangunan sistem otomatis peringatan kedatangan kereta dengan memanfaatkan teknologi seamless wireless Ethernet over Internet Protocol (EoIP). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengujian prototype di lingkungan UKDW dengan panjang pelintasan kurang lebih 70 - 80 meter, menggunakan 1 MCU(Micro Controller Unit) ESP8266 dan 1 GPS Module yaitu node kereta, 2 MCU, 2 unit LCD module, 2 Servo motor dan 2 Buzzer menjadi 2 node perlintasan kereta. Sistem ini diuji coba sebanyak 30 kali dengan checklist pengujian. Pengujian dimulai saat node kereta mengirimkan informasi dalam bentuk longitude dan latitude ke server lalu server akan menghitung jarak antara node kereta dengan setiap node perlintasan kemudian hasil jarak tersebut akan di kirim ke setiap node perlintasan kereta, akan terjadi pengecekan jarak di setiap node perlintasan kereta, pada jarak yang telah ditentukan palang akan ditutup ataupun dibuka. Dari 30 kali percobaan disimpulkan bahwa sistem otomatis peringatan kedatangan kereta dapat mendeteksi kedatangan kereta dan telah berhasil dibangun dengan benar dan berjalan sesuai flow sistem yang sudah dirancangkan. Dilengkapi dengan pemanfaatan Teknologi seamless wireless EoIP yang memungkinkan pembangunan jaringan bahkan di titik buta tidak dapat dijangkau oleh operator seluler ataupun GSM. Oleh karena itu seamless wireless EoIP ini sangat cocok dalam membantu pembangunan sistem peringatan kedatangan kereta api dengan palang otomatis dibuktikan dengan setiap alat dapat terhubung dan tidak terputus selama 30 kali percobaan.

Abstract

The development of GKJ Gondokusuman which became an open church made church boards and pastors required to give satisfaction to the congregation. With these problems, it is necessary to have an application for the GKJ Gondokusuman congregation data collection service program. Where in the GKJ Gondokusuman congregation data collection service application, the church congregation can independently update their personal data. The development of this application will apply the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method by following the stages starting with requirements planning (planning the terms), followed by a RAD design workshop, and ending with implementation. The GKJ Gondokusuman congregation data collection service application program was successfully built in this study. Each stage of the RAD method in developing the GKJ Gondokusuman service application runs smoothly and well, as evidenced by the black box test results that have been carried out by the GKJ Gondokusuman service application, which can be used to update the personal data of the congregation members.

Abstract

The security of data communication over the network has become an obligation that needs to be considered in a technology ecosystem. Data security has various layers, one layer that needs to be protected is the presentation layer where SSL/TLS is located. If at this layer there are vulnerabilities where sensitive data such as cookies, usernames, and passwords are present, then data leakage will have a major impact on all stakeholders in the technology sector using SSL/TLS technology. In order to research and improve data security in Duta Wacana Christian University (DWCU) campus network, the researchers conducted SSL/TLS vulnerability testing on the  SSAT and E-Class websites using the SSL Test from Qualys and a script from testssl.sh, the author also conducted Checking Mixed Content with GeekFlare and checking HSTS Preload using the HSTS Preload website provided by Google. Researchers also conducted SSL Strip penetration tests at 12 points of the DWCU building and also in Lab D. Based on the results of the study, there were several results found. The results on the SSL Test using Qualys found that the SSAT and E-Class websites already use HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) rules with Max-Age 31536000 (1 year) but HSTS Preload has not been implemented, Mixed Content testing with GeekFlare shows that all transactions on SSAT and E-Class already uses HTTPS paths, then in tests using the testssl.sh script there are vulnerabilities that are read, and SSL Strip attacks are possible in Duta Wacana Christian University network under several conditions.

Abstract

High availability and scalability is a must have feature for server that owned by industrial sector. One concept that used by technology practitioner ishorizontal scaling. Horizontal scaling can be achieved by using load balancer. Even though those technology practitioner started to adopt containerization technology, those technology practitioner still using load balancer. The purpose of this research is to compare NGINX and HAPROXY performance as load balancer based on response time and error rate. Both NGINX and HAPROXY will run on docker that installed on various virtual machine type in both AWS and GCP. The result shows that based on writer’s configuration, NGINX could handle medium and heavy load better than HAPROXY. Another result shows that AWS could handle medium and heavy load better than GCP.

Abstract

The implementation of a remotely accessible network laboratory at FTI UKDW commenced in 2022, utilizing a VPN (Virtual Private Network) based remote system. Previous research identified several technical challenges in its implementation, coupled with periodic subscription cost constraints. Consequently, this study aims to redesign the system by adopting port forwarding as an alternative, with the expectation of optimizing the remote laboratory implementation while reducing maintenance costs. This research focuses on analyzing the performance quality of the redesigned remote laboratory using the port forwarding method. Additionally, the study aims to measure the level of comfort among students in using the remote network laboratory system through the collection of questionnaire data. The results of the research indicate that the redesign with the port forwarding method can be implemented as expected. Students expressed a high level of satisfaction, reaching 50%, with the majority finding it easy to access practical tools and considering the system user-friendly.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of integrating Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Model-Driven Development (MDD) methodologies within the Scrum framework on the effectiveness and efficiency of software development. Through comprehensive literature analysis, this research explores how each methodology strengthens specific aspects of the Scrum process. TDD was found to enhance the reliability and accuracy of development with an emphasis on continuous testing, while BDD improves communication and collaboration among stakeholders by using clear and easily understandable language. MDD provides an efficient mechanism to address complex system designs through abstract models that are automatically converted into code. The findings indicate that the integration of these three methodologies significantly improves the quality and speed of development by leveraging the specific strengths of each methodology to optimize the development cycle in Scrum projects. The implications of these findings are relevant for practitioners engaged in Agile software development as well as academics interested in further research on development methodologies
