Abstract

Along with technological developments, implementing network computers can use network simulators. The use of network simulators that are often used, one of which is the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and the operating system provided by the user because the operating system used comes from the original operating system of the network device. Rapid development of data needs encourages people to exchange information with one another through one network. Data communication is done through sending data packets between networks based on internet protocol (IP) addresses. IP is divided into two, namely IPV4 and IPV6 in the process of sending data assisted by a router. In this study, the analyst will focus on routing protocol performance using IPV6 by paying attention to several parameters such as delay, packet loss, throughput and conversion time. Based on the results of the study, OSPF is better than EIGRP in the value of delay and throughput, which is 2- 15%. EIGRP is better when the connection is down, which is 45 - 52%. EIGRP has a faster convergence time than OSPF which is 2 - 6 seconds while OSPF is 8-10 seconds.

Abstract

User behavior prediction on TCP / IP networks is very possible because each data packet is passed through a router that can be analyzed and then classified into several behavior types from commonly performed activities by internet users. User-behavior predictions developed using artificial neural networks (ANN), which can show accurate results in predicting the bandwidth used by users in the next few days. Predicting results helps network administrators to provide a more accurate picture of user behavior patterns in the future, where the Personnel Service Application System (SAPK) which becomes the user behavior internet priority it's only utilized network resources at 26.8% of the total internet network resources available. The ANN that was developed also showed that 40.3% of network resources were used more by streaming video activities and 37% were used for streaming audio activities. With the prediction result, the network administrator rearranges the internet network resources distribution by applying a new prediction results pattern. This study conclusively shows that user behavior with streaming video activities is the largest bandwidth user and needs to get special attention on the internet network at the Regional X National Civil Service Agency Office.

Abstract

Screw Turbine is a turbine that has just been studied. The working principle of this turbine screw is based on a screw pump system which functions to lift water from the river to the surface. The turbine screw is basically the return of the screw pump. To obtain an experimental study of the maximum output produced by a PLTMH using a turbine screw, the research is very difficult to apply in real conditions, and problems with screw turbines are made about the effect of blade distance (10 cm, 12 cm and 15 cm) on efficiency, voltage, current and power on the MHP using a screw turbine. Therefore the research will use a screw turbine prototype on a laboratory with micro power plants. In this study the best measurement at a distance of 21 cm blade with an angle of 280, where the voltage, current, and output power generated by the generator is 129.4 Volts loaded with 60 Watt, No load 162.7 Volts, the current generated is 0.1774 Ampere and the power produced is 22.9 Watts. For generator rotation speed that is equal to 7054 rpm, while turbine rotation speed generated at pressure is equal to 589 rpm before coupling with generator and 318 rpm after coupling with generator, the efficiency obtained in this PLTMH modeling test is at a distance of 22 cm blade with angle slope 280 that is equal to 24.5%.

Abstract

Abstract — Cars are a transportation mode that is widely used in society. Every year in Indonesia and other countries experience a continuous increase in the number of cars. The intensity of cars especially in parking areas often become a challenge for drivers to park cars and increases the risk of a crash. This research aims to design and build a distance sensor device that helps to park cars based on Arduino Uno microcontroller which is hoped to help decrease the risk of cars crashing to another car or object. This device will will produce three types of input that will inform the driver on the distance detected, between the car and another object. The first output is in text form displayed on an LCD screen, then the second output is a buzz produced by a buzzer and the third output is produced by a speaker which produces sound of audio recordings voicing the distance detected by the sensor.

Abstract

The digital era where technological developments are growing rapidly, causing ease in accessing information from various parts of the world. The vast unlimited internet world can connect all computers throughout the world providing guidance in getting information, communicating and establishing partnerships. Computer networks are not new, it can be said that almost all organizations, agencies and digital agency companies use computer networks to support management activities. The need for computer networks is a top priority in organizations to be widely connected to facilitate access to information. With many computer network users in an organization / agency causing very heavy internet traffic. Therefore the importance of an administrator in the field of computer networks in bandwidth management. At Kesato Digital Agency, there are computer network problems when there is a dense internet traffic due to the unfair distribution of bandwidth to each user. Therefore it is necessary to assess the Quality of Service on the Digital Agency company's computer network. The results of the Quality of Service assessment on the Kesato Digital Agency in the satisfactory category, of course there needs to be efforts to improve to achieve maximum results in the very satisfying category.

Abstract

Renewable sources of energy by utilizing water resources, more specifically is PLTMH (Micro-Hydro power plants) to be an excellent choice for potential to be developed in order to overcome the scarcity of energy. For ease in learning about PLTMH then use PLTMH prototype by designing the nozzle position on the corner of 00, 150, 300, 450, 600 and 750 to measurements, using three types of turbine vanes, on the position of the nozzle at an angle of 600 produces round generator and turbine rotation. The position of the nozzle at an angle of 600, a model turbine vanes are recommended to be used is semicircular vanes model because the model in the position and the power-generating turbine vanes most large.

Abstract

Intisari— Pembangkit listrik mikro hidro biasanya dibangun pada daerah yang memiliki potensi pembangkit energi listrik dalam kapasitas kecil. Perbedaan jenis – jenis sudu pada PLTMH digunakan dalam penelitian ini sehingga didapatkan hasil yang lebih efektif dengan rpm yang lebih besar, keluarangan tegangan, bentuk atau penempatan posisi nozzle. Model sudu yang digunakan yaitu sudu setengah lingkaran, sudu segitiga, sudu sirip. Pengukuran kecepatan rpm dari ketiga jenis turbin, dihitung dari 00, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 dan 400. Setelah mendapatkan hasil kecepatan rpm dari ketiga jenis turbin maka didapatkan hasil perhitungan torsi untuk masing – masing jenis turbin. Data luasan yang paling baik untuk menampung luasan debit air digunakan persamaan LAM 1, LAM 2, LAM 3, dan volume LAM 3. Hasil pengukuran yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil pengukuran kecepatan rpm tertinggi sebesar 151,6 dan torsi tertinggi sebesar 0,017 Nm pada sudut nozzle 300 yaitu pada sudu turbin segitiga. Sedangkan untuk luasan volume debit air terbaik adalah sudu setengah lingkaran sebesar 3,19 liter. Dari hasil penelitan didapat turbin yang paling baik adalah turbin segitiga karena turbin segitiga mendapatkan rpm dan torsi optimal pada sudut 300, sedangkan sudu setengah lingkaran adalah sudu terbaik untuk menampung debit air

Abstract

Abstract— Formulating a marketing strategy for a pioneering or long-running restaurant business is a very important thing. Analyze the weaknesses or strengths of business competitors is one of these strategies. Identification of weaknesses and strengths can be done by taking data from comments on competitors' Instagram accounts using Text Preprocessing Techniques. Text Preprocessing is a text processing algorithm, consisting of Transform Cases, Stopword Filters, Tokenize Filters, and Stemming. Instagram is one of the most widely used social media accounts as a promotional media in Indonesia. Another method that can be used is Full Text Search, this method can analyze the patterns in comments that have been parsed for classified into positive, negative, or neutral sentiment categories. This study concludes that this sentiment analysis system can automatically recognized weaknesses (based on negative comments) and strengths (based on positive comments) based on comments on Instagram accounts owned by restaurant business competitors with an accuracy of 85% and a precision value of 79%.

Abstract

Wind is a natural resource that has many benefits for human life, for example, wind can be used to generate electricity, namely the wind power plant, for aircraft navigation purposes during takeoff and landing, as well as for aerospace sports such as paragliding, parasailing and aeromodeling. The existence of wind can also be detrimental to mankind, such as the existence of extreme weather that allows hurricanes, rainstorms, floods and landslides and high sea waves. This study expects to design a prototype tool monitoring system for wind speed and wind vane based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the Raspberry Pi 3 model B+ as a data processor that can give data abouttwind speed and direction of the wind in realtime and can be accessed remotely when connected to the internet network. Test data read from the sensors displayed on the LCD 16 x 2 and sent to the web server using a router with the goal that it tends to be monitored online by the user with an internet connection. Wind speed data is read in rotations per minute (rpm) and wind direction data can detect up to 16 wind directions. The conclusion of this study is that the based wind speed and wind direction monitoring system Internet of Things (IoT) using Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ can work properly. Wind speed and wind course information are stored in a database, which can be accessed on web the Telegram in realtime. Data transmission of wind speed and wind directions takes place every 1 minute.

Abstract

The aquarium monitoring system in the maintenance of ornamental fish is fundamental to maintaining the survival of the aquatic biota in it. In this study, a prototype of a water condition monitoring system such as turbidity and water temperature in freshwater ornamental fish aquariums was designed and integrated with IoT technology so that it could make it easier for ornamental fish owners to maintain freshwater ornamental fish remotely. In the prototype tool, there is a turbidity sensor SEN0189, a temperature sensor DS18B20, and an HC-SR04 sensor, which function to measure changes that occur in each parameter. Each sensor data will be processed by the Arduino Uno microcontroller, which is then sent to the NodeMCU ESP8266 (Wi-Fi module) via serial communication so that sensor data readings can be displayed on the Blynk application. As a result of the tests, the system can monitor the turbidity of the water and drain the water if the turbidity reaches >= 25 NTU and refill the aquarium with clean water. In addition, the system can also monitor and control the water temperature in the aquarium. The aquarium water temperature level is maintained in the range of 24°C – 28°C.
