Abstract

The research objective was to describe the ability of aspects of pronunciation, intonation, expression, kinesik, and appreciation. The benefits of this research are useful as input for teachers who teach Indonesian subjects, especially teachers in SMPN 19 Jambi City. Data obtained using quantitative descriptive method implemented in January 2014. Data were obtained by observing the appearance of the drama played by students with attention to several aspects namely: pronunciation, intonation, expression, kinesik, and appreciation. Based on research results is the ability VIIIA grade students in the drama category to play well with an average of 72.98. In the aspect of pronunciation ability of students in the drama category to play well with an average of 15.97. Intonation aspects of students' ability to play both drama category with an average of 76.4. Mimic aspects of students' ability to play well with the drama category average of 75.35. Kinesik aspects of students' ability to play with enough drama category average of 73.97. While the appreciation of aspects of students' ability to play enough drama category with an average of 75. The results of the study suggested that teachers, especially Indonesian teachers have a container as a child's talents to be more focused and honed to a better direction again.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form and function of Jambi Malay customs seloko. Seloko adat here is a custom seloko contained in the procession of customary stir between custom handover at the traditional marriage of Jambi Malay. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The data of this research are word unit, phrase, clause, sentence, text of the ceremony of repetition between the handover of customary marriage of Fortuna Mazka and the text of seloko in the Customary Principles of Sepucuk Jambi Sembilan Lurah (2001). The two texts are reconstructed philologically (critical edition) as the study material.The results of this study indicate that seloko adat ulur between handover of Jambi Malay custom has five forms: (1) kato adat or kato undang (2) kias word (3) kato penyelo (4) petatah-petitih and (5) pantun. Each form has a typology of rhyme, array, stanza, and conventional formulas. Seloko adat ular between the hand-over of Jambi Malay customary has various functions: (1) informational, (2) expressive, (3) directive, (4) aesthetic, and (5) fatik. These functions are firmly attached to each form of the shell, with Jambi's diction and local ideology.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is to describe the form of error in the language of class X students of AK 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi in terms of spelling, affix, reduplication, word wastage, and diction. The approach and type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Research data in the form of language errors contained in the student essay. Sources of research data is the essay of students of class X AK 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi Academic Year 2014/2015. Technique of data collecting done by using method of documentation. After the essay is read, the essay is carefully researched to find the error language that will be used as data. The results of the analysis of language errors in student essay can be summarized as follows: (1) errors of language often found in student essay is a spelling mistake. Spelling errors occur due to improper writing of words, capital letters, italics, number symbols, and punctuation, (2) affix errors found in the use of prefixes, prefixes in-, confix, confix , and the confix is ​​that (3) the reduplication error occurs because of the use of an incorrectly coupled word (4) the waste of words occurs because there is still a lot of usage of words that do not really need to be used (5) the error of diction occurs because the selection of words that do not right. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menghasilkan sebuah modul pembelajaran menulis puisi. Selain itu, penelitian dan pengembangan ini juga bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan modul menulis puisi berbasisi experiential learning untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP, mendeksripsikan kelayakan modul berdasarkan penilaian dan validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, guru bahasa Indonesia, dan uji coba terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan modul berdasarkan penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, perencanaan, pengembangan format produk, uji coba skala kecil, dan revisi akhir serta penyempurnaan produk memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,43 dengan persentase 88,6% bekategori “Sangat Layak” berasal dari penilaian dan validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan guru bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari uji coba terhadap siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,58 dengan persentase 91,6% berkategori “Sangat Layak”. Dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan skor rata-rata penilaian dari ahli media, ahli materi, guru bahasa Indonesia, dan uji coba terhadap siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran menulis puisi berbasis experiential learning untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP sangat layak digunakan secara mandiri sebagai media pembelajaran tambahan bagi siswa. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, modul, menulis puisi, experiential learning Abstract This research and development aim to develop and produce a learning module to write poetry. In addition, this research and development also aim to describe the process of developing a poetry writing module based on experiential learning for junior high school eighth-grade students, describing the feasibility of the module based on assessment and validation by media experts, material experts, Indonesian teachers, and testing of students. This research includes development research using quantitative descriptive. The results of research and development modules based on research and initial information gathering, planning, product format development, small-scale trials, and final revisions and product improvements obtained an average score of 4.43 with the percentage of 88.6% of the category "Very Worthy" coming from assessment and validation of media experts, material experts, and Indonesian language teachers. The results of the trials on students obtained an average score of 4.58 with a percentage of 91.6% categorized as "Very Worthy". It can be concluded based on the average score of assessment from media experts, material experts, Indonesian language teachers, and trials on students. It can be concluded that poetry writing learning modules based on experiential learning for junior high school students are very suitable to be used independently as additional learning media for students. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kearifan lokal Melayu dalam karya sastra Melayu klasik. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Teori kajiannya adalah hermeneutik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kearifan lokal Melayu dalam karya sastra Melayu klasik dikategorikan atas tiga nilai, yakni: (1) kebudian: budi merupakan patokan berperilaku, semangat dan energi hidup (elan vital); budi merupakan cita-cita hidup orang Melayu. (2) keindahan: konsep kekayaan atau kebesaran Allah, wujud yang sempurna yang dikaruniai Allah kepada benda-benda, pancaran potensi kreatif ilahi, sesuatu yang luar biasa, sesuatu yang berbagai-bagai, dan sesuatu yang teratur dan penuh harmoni. (3) nilai-nilai moral: tanggung jawab, keharmonian, keterbukaan, kejujuran, ketaatan dan kesetiaan, penghargaan (harga diri), tenggang rasa, kesantunan, kebersamaan, kemaafan, dan keadilan. Kearifan lokal Melayu merupakan inti tradisi Melayu, merupakan kekuatan kultural dan sumber penting identitas kemanusiaannya. Tanpa kearifan lokal, Melayu akan kehilangan identitasnya. Kata Kunci: kearifan lokal, karya sastra, dan Melayu Abstract This study aims to describe Malay local wisdom in classical Malay literary works. The approach used is qualitative descriptive analysis method. The study theory is hermeneutic. This study concludes that Malay local wisdom in classical Malay literary works is categorized into three values, namely: (1) kebudian: mind is a benchmark for behavior, enthusiasm and life energy (elan vital); Budi is the ideal of Malay life. (2) beauty: the concept of the wealth or greatness of God, the perfect form that God has endowed with objects, radiating divine creative potential, something extraordinary, something that is various, and something that is orderly and harmonious. (3) moral values: responsibility, harmony, openness, honesty, obedience and loyalty, appreciation (self-esteem), tolerance, politeness, togetherness, forgiveness, and justice. Malay local wisdom is at the core of Malay tradition, is a cultural force and an important source of human identity. Without local wisdom, Malay will lose its identity.
