Abstract

KB is used to improve the welfare of mothers and children in order to realize the norms of small families happy prosperous which is the basis of the realization of a prosperous society by promoting birth while ensuring the control of the population. The higher the level of education the more rational the decision-making, one of which is in the use of kb. Parity can affect a person's birth control because the more children are born, the higher the mother's desire to limit birth. This condition will encourage a mother to use birth control. To know the education and parity of the mother to the election of KB in Banjar Health center II Buleleng Bali. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The study was conducted in July 2020 with a total sample of 236 respondents. Sampling techniques using total sampling. Research instruments use observation sheets. Analyze data using Chi square. The results of the education univariate test surveyed 162 respondents (68.6%), multipara parity 187 respondents (79.2%), hormonal KB 227 respondents (96.2%), age ≤30 ≥30 years 118 respondents (50.0%), not working 142 respondents (60.2%). Educational bivariate test results with KB show p value of 1,000 and parity with KB shows p value 0.947. No education relations and parity of the election of the KB in Banjar Health center II Buleleng Bali.

Abstract

Background: Breast milk production can be influenced by several factors and one of them is psychological factor. Postpartum mothers may experience emotional disorders such as stress that can reduce the stimulation of the prolactine hormon which eventually it inhibits the production of breast milk.Objective : to find out whether there is a relationship between stress level and the adequacy of providing breast milk for breastfeeding mothers at Sakina Idaman Hospital.Research Methods : This study used a cross sectional design consisting of 42 respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling method. A questionnaire was implemented to conduct this study and it tested using the chi square test.Results : Univariate analysis showed that most respondents who did not experience stress were 36 people (85.7%), while most of the respondents considered sufficient in breastfeeding were 37 people (88.1%). The bivariate analysis result showed that there was a relationship between stress level and the adequacy of providing breast milk for breastfeeding mothers at Sakina Idaman Hospital with P = 0.002 (p<0.05).Conclusion : There is a Relationship between stress level and adequacy of providing breast milk for breastfeeding mothers at Sakina Idaman Hospital.

Abstract

Background: Anemia case is still concerning in DIY since it increased from 14.85% in 2015 to 16.09% in 2016. Knowledge is correlated with the behavior of an individual because knowledge is an essential domain in shaping a certain behavior.Objectives: To find the correlation between knowledge and behavior of pregnant women in consuming Fe Tablet in the Community Health Centre of Kalasan YogyakartaMethod: This study is an analytical study of correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The subjects were trimester II and III pregnant women. This study employed consecutive sampling as the sampling technique. The instrument was questionnaire. The sample of this study was 56 respondents. The researcher used Kolmogorov-Smirnov in analyzing the data.Results: Most of the pregnant women (55.4%) possessed a sufficient level of knowledge and most of the pregnant women (69.6%) were at a good level of behavior in consuming Fe Tablet. The result of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test showed 0.000Conclusion: Statistically there is a significant correlation between knowledge and behavior of pregnant women in consuming Fe Tablet because the p-value was less than 0.05
