Abstract

This research departs from public literacy in understanding the validity of news is still low, people's habits to disseminate information (share) without seeking the truth. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive method, in this study the author uses purposive sampling methods and techniques while the technique used to test the validity of the data is by using triangulation techniques. The results of this study are (1) Implementation of advocacy programs to improve digital literacy by the Department of Communication and Information of West Sumatra Province, a. advocacy through cooperation, advocacy through supervision. (2) Implementation of communication programs to improve digital literacy by the Department of Communication and Information of West Sumatra Province, a. advocacy and communication through socialization, b. communication through the anti-hoax movement. 3. Factors influencing advocacy and communication in preventing the spread of hoax news by the Communications and Information Office of West Sumatra Province, a. inhibiting factors, and b. supporting factors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of public interest in reading. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research location was carried out in Nagari Saok Laweh. In determining informants, researchers use purposive sampling methods and techniques. In this study using data types, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. In testing the validity of the data, researchers used method triangulation techniques. As for data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.  The results showed that the implementation of the Rotating Book Program (BULIR) in Nagari Saok laweh in Solok Regency was carried out in detail such as communication, disposition and bureaucratic structure. However, the implementation has not been carried out properly because the number of human resources is still small such as the number of cadres and the limited budget used.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how the implementation of the Nagari Government's strategy in distributing direct cash assistance is carried out and what factors hinder the equal distribution of direct cash assistance in Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative approach descriptive research. Data collection is obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation.The results of this research indicate that the Nagari Government's strategy in implementing the Equal Distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in Nagari Kasang, Batang Anai Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, uses a system that encourages direct and inclusive participation of the community. Factors affecting the equal distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in Nagari Kasang include delays in budget funds from the Padang Pariaman Government, causing uncertainty and affecting the distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT). The distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) is carried out non-transparently and unfairly, leading to dissatisfaction among the community in the equal distribution process of this assistance, resulting in conflicts within the community. Based on the research results, it is hoped that the Nagari Kasang government will pay more attention to the equal distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) to prevent conflicts in the community.

Abstract

The research aims to describe how effectiva the implementation of Mayor's Regulation no. 32 of 2020 is in the Kinantan Wildlife and Cultural Park, Bukittinggi City (TMSBK). It started with problems when implementing non-cash only which was implemented by the Bukittinggi City Government for access to TMSBK so that after an assessment was carried out the Bukittinggi City Government issued Mayor Regulation number 32 of 2020 concerning Procedures for Implementing the Collection, Payment, Deposit and Place of Payment of Recreational Retribution Retributions and Sports in an effort to overcome the problems felt by the people of Bukittinggi City by allowing cash and non-cash payments. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods supported by interview results. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation studies. The validity test uses triangulation techniques, namely method triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the regulations implemented in TMSBK answer the problems felt by the people of Bukittinggi City, with these regulations people can carry out cash and non-cash transactions and this has an impact on levies which are directly proportional to the increase in the number of visits after this regulation is implemented. This regulation is certainly an effective solution to overcome the problems faced.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of community supervisors in the home assimilation program at the Class I Padang Correctional Center (Bapas) and the obstacles faced in implementing the program. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The selection of informants was done through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that community supervisors play a facilitative role by serving clients who are required to report, an educational role by providing personality guidance activities, and a technical role by collecting data and coordinating with related parties in client supervision. The obstacles faced include (1) loss of contact with clients and non-fulfilment of reporting obligations by clients, (2) unknown client guarantors (not from family), (3) the location of clients who are in one area with victims, and (4) the limited number of human resources while the coverage of the work area is quite extensive.
