Abstract

Stunting is a serious public health problem, especially in children under five. The causes of stunting are complex and involve a variety of factors, but health education, feeding practices, attention, stimulation, and access to health services have been identified as major contributors. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The research design is observational analytics using a case-control research design. The results show a statistical test result value of p-value of 0.016; employment of 0.013; family income of 0.002. It can be concluded that parenting affects the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Stunting is the result of a combination of complex factors and interactions between social, economic, health, and environmental aspects. Therefore, stunting handling must also be holistic and involve various sectors to achieve optimal results. Prevention and management of health conditions have become very important, and the Prolanis gymnastics program has been recognized as one of the effective methods. Motivation plays a central role in shaping health behaviours and habits. Methods: This research is quantitative with an analytical design with a sectional study design approach. The population in this study was all Prolanis Participants suffering from Hypertension, with the number of samples in the survey 41 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was accidental sampling. Results: The Chi-square Statistical test on the influence of motivation on the participation of older adults with Hypertension in prolonged gymnastics activities obtained a p-value = 0.000 or smaller than a = 0.05 (0.000<0.05). Conclusions: The influence of motivation on the activeness of older adults with Hypertension in protagonist gymnastics activities. Motivation influences the activeness of older adults with Hypertension in prolantic gymnastics activities. High motivation can be an essential factor in encouraging active participation in prolanist gymnastics programs, which in turn can support the management of hypertensive conditions and improve the well-being of older people. Abstract

Introduction: diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires long-term management involving patients and their families. The role of the family in improving the management of diabetes mellitus patients is very important to achieve good blood sugar control and prevent long-term complications. This study aims at the role of family in improving the management of diabetes mellitus patients. Methods: this research is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group research design with a sample size of 20 respondents Results: shows that in the intervention group, most family roles have a good category where respondents have family roles are as many as 7 people (70%) and respondents who have poor family roles are as many as 3 people (30%). While in the control group, respondents who had poor family roles were as many as 8 people (80%) and respondents who had good family roles were as many as 2 people (20%). In the final measurement (Post-test) in the intervention group and the control group, p = 0, 028 or p < 0.05 means that there are differences in family roles in both groups in the final measurement (Post-test) Conclusions: the role of the family is very important in improving the management of diabetes mellitus patients. Family support and involvement in assisting patients in living a healthy diet, following the right medication regimen, and maintaining an active lifestyle can help achieve good blood sugar control and prevent long-term complications. Factors such as knowledge of diabetes, emotional support, and ability to manage diabetes-related situations also influence the family's role in the management of this condition. Therefore, education to families about diabetes, the psychological and practical support they provide to patients, as well as their involvement in healthy lifestyle changes are important things to note.

Abstract

Introduction: Stunting is a global health problem that impacts children's growth and development. One of the main factors contributing to stunting is the lack of maternal knowledge about balanced nutrition. Nutrition education is expected to increase mothers' understanding of healthy eating and toddler stunting prevention practices. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of nutrition education on changes in maternal behavior in preventing stunting in toddlers. Materials and Methods: This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach with a control group. The sample consisted of mothers with toddlers, selected by purposive sampling. The intervention group was given nutrition education through counseling media and interactive discussions, while the control group did not receive the intervention. Results: The study showed a significant increase in mothers' knowledge and practice of nutrition after being given nutrition education (p<0.05). In addition, there were substantial differences between the intervention and control groups regarding stunting prevention behavior. Conclusions: Nutrition education has been proven effective in increasing maternal knowledge and behavior and preventing toddler stunting. Therefore, public health programs need to expand nutrition education interventions to reduce stunting incidence.

Abstract

Introduction: Home care is a form of health care that is increasingly needed as the need for long-term care increases and a community-based approach to service. In this context, nurses are important as the main implementers of services in direct contact with patients. However, regulations that regulate home care practices often affect nurses' movement space and professional autonomy in providing optimal services. This study aims to analyze the impact of home care regulations on the independent role of nurses in society. Research Methodology: The method used is qualitative, using literature studies and semi-structured interviews with active nurses in home care practice. Results: Results show that restrictive and unclear regulations limit independent clinical decision-making, create legal uncertainty, and reduce public trust in the professional capacity of nurses. Conversely, supportive regulations can strengthen nurses' independent roles, improve service efficiency, and encourage collaboration between health teams. Conclusion: a balanced policy is needed between legal oversight and empowerment of nurses so that their role in the public health system can be optimized.
