Abstract

Abstract: The research about application of cooperative learning techniques roving group has been done to improve student’s achievement on the topic of chemical bonds at 10th of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru on 02 October- 06 November 2013. This research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X4 class as experiment class and X3 class as control class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Application of cooperative learning techniques roving group applied in experiment class. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount>ttable (3,678> 1,67). It means that the application of cooperative learning techniques roving group can improve student’s achievementon the topic of chemical bonds at 10th of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class is 16,796%.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Techniques Roving Group, Student Achievement, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

Abstract:The research aims to improve the achievement of learners on the subject of Reduction and Oxidation Reaction in class X MAN 2 MODEL MIA Pekanbaru. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design.  Research conducted in MAN 2 MODEL Pekanbaru. The samples of this research were the students of class X4 as the experimental class and students of class X1 as the control class randomly determined after the tests of normality and homogeneity test. The learning process at experimental class and control class based scientific approach to the curriculum in 2013. Experimental class is a class that is applied to LKPD comic while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 3.18 >1.67, means  that the use of LKPD comic can improve student learning achievement on the subject of Reduction and Oxidation Reaction in class X MAN 2 MODEL MIA Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,81. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,68. Abstract

Abstract This study is aimed to develop learning media by using PowToon on the subject of Hydrocarbon at SMA/MA. The result of this study is a product of learning media in the form of CD (compact disk) for Hydrocarbon subject which has contents as follows: the characteristic of carbon, alcana,alchene and alcuna, the application carbon in daily. This study used Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model which has five stages of development; they are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development model was modified by the writer only until the development stage. The result of validation test showed that learning media on the subject of Hydrocarbon is valid with the result of validation by media experts and material experts 89,63%, so the developed learning media is properly used on the learning and teaching process. The result of the development has been limited test on 22 students and then 2 chemistry teacher in senior high school average score percentase obtained by 89,63%Key Words : Development of learning media, PowToon, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: Classroom action research had been done on student learning activity on Colloid subject in XI MIA 3 of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted by using student worksheet that is based on IDEAL Problem Solving. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of asking question, submit answers or opinions, doing student worksheet is based on IDEAL Problem Solving and group discussion. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection technique use observation test and questionnaire . The result of action showed that learning activity percentage of student improved and reached the success indicator. The learning activity of student percentage in first cycle is 61,33% with enough category and second cycle is 73,86% with good category. Based on the result obtained, it can be concluded the using of student worksheet that is based on IDEAL Problem Solving can improve student learning activity.Keyword :Student Worksheet That is Based On IDEAL Problem Solving, Student Learning Activity, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the students’ activity paper in chemistry lesson subject Reaction Rate. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the development model 4-D. This Reseach was conducted in FKIP UR. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on problem solving. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The validation done with the four aspect, such as the content properness aspect with the average score is 93,12%, the language properness with the average score is 95%, course with the average score is 86,25% and the graphical with the average score is 85,93%. Based on the result of the validator, the writer obtained the average score 90,07% which is in valid criteria, means that the development of students’ activity paper based problem solving in chemistry lesson subject reaction rate is proper to be use.Key words: Students’ activity paper, Problem Solving, Reaction Rate

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject of Acid-Bases Solution in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA1 as an experiment class and XI IPA2 as a control class randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given to applied strategy active learning quick on the draw, the control class was not applied strategy active learning quick on the draw. Data analysis technique is used t-test. Based on the results of final processing data use t-test formula obtained  tcount>ttable is  2,24 >1,67, it means that the applying of applied strategy active learning quick on the draw can improve student achievement on the subject of acid bases solution in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. The calculation of effect size resulted on student achievement was 7,93%.  Keywords: Quick On The Draw, Student achievement, Acid-Bases solution

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the study indicate that the use of colloid domino card game media can improving students learning achievement in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. Forms of this research was experimental research with radomized design of control group pretest-posttest. The population of this study were all students in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. After being tested for normality and homogeneity tests, it determined the sample of the study were students of class XI MIA4 as an experimental class and students of class X1 MIA3 as the control class. Technique that used to data analysis was t-test with the criteria that the data processed in normal distribution. Based on the results of data analysis test, we obtained tcount>ttable is 3.38> 1.67, it meant that use of colloid domino card game media could improved learning achievement in the class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with a value of N-gain 0.71 while the control class included in the medium category with a value of N-gain of 0.60.Key Words: Learning Achievement, Colloid Domino Card Game

Abstract

Abstrac: The research aims to increase the students achievement on the subject colloid in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This research is a kind of experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA 4 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied cooperative learning model with Problem Posing type while the control class was not applied. Data analysis technique used the t-test. The result of research showed tarithmetic>ttable that was 4,82 > 1,67 that mean the application cooperative learning model with Problem Posing type can to increase the students achievement on the subject colloid in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru with N-gain is 0,82 that mean category of enhancement's students achievement high category.Key Word : Problem Posing, Achievement, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted because of the law learning achivement of student on the Hydrocarbon and Petroleum subject who has not reached KKM was 70,00 that has been establishted in school. The research aimed to improve learning achievement of students on Hydrocarbon and Petroleum subject in XI class MIA SMAN 1 Tapung Hulu. This research was a kind of experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 1 Tapung Hulu. The samples of this research were the students of XI MIA 4 class, as the experimental class and students of XI MIA 3 class, as the control class, which were determined randomly after doing the normality test and homogeneity test. The learning process at experimental class and control class used scientific approach which was based on the curriculum in 2013. Experimental was the class which was given the treatment that used gallery walk method, while the control class was not. The data analysis technique we used is the t test. Criteria testing H0 accepted if tcount>ttable, dk=n1+n2-2 with α=0,05. Based on the result of data analysis test, we obtained tcount>ttable is 3,79 >1,67,it meant that the application of gallery walk of leraning method could improve learning achievement on the Hydrocarbon and Petroleum subject in XI classs SMAN 1 Tapung Hulu.Key Words : Gallery Walk Learning, Learning Achievement, Hidrocarbon and Petroleum
