Abstract

Salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu pergerakan tubuh manusia adalah dengan menggunakan sendi exoskeleton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengaplikasikan Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) dengan menggunakan C# dalam pengaturan besar torsi yang telah ditentukan dan arah putaran motor ke driver motor, serta mengubah sinyal input berupa sudut fase berjalan menggunakan metode Fuzzy Logic Clasification. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dengan mengontrol arus yang diberikan sebesar 2215 mA menghasilkan variasi dari tiap fase gaya berjalan sehingga diketahui pola pergerakan manusia. Berdasarkan panjang lengan beban sebesar 40 cm didapatkan gaya sebesar 5,53 N.

Abstract

Salah satu dari proses manufaktur Printed Circuit Board (PCB) adalah proses etsa yang menggunakan larutan kimia. Larutan kimia yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah NH4OH, FeCl3 dan CuCl2. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan mesin etsa dengan menggunkan motor servo yang terbaca melalui encoder. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan proses etsa untuk seluruh PCB adalah 8 menit untuk FeCl3, 18 menit untuk CuCl2. Sedangkan untuk NH4OH baru terjadi etsa pada waktu 18 menit.

Abstract

COVID-19 menyerang manusia pada akhir tahun 2019. Penyebaran COVID-19 terjadi melalui droplet/cairan yang keluar dari mulut/hidung manusia. Antisipasi penyebaran COVID-19 dilakukan dengan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan mencuci tangan menggunakan hand sanitizer. Penggunaan hand sanitizer di tempat umum memungkinkan terjadinya kontak fisik antar pengguna sehingga diperlukan cara untuk mengurangi kontak fisik tersebut. Cara yang bisa diterapkan adalah dengan menggunakan hand sanitizer otomatis. Prinsip dari hand sanitizer otomatis ini adalah ketika tangan didekatkan dengan botol hand sanitizer maka secara otomatis cairan akan keluar dengan sendirinya ke telapak tangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hand sanitizer telah berhasil dibuat dan dapat digunakan di Politeknik Negeri Batam.

Abstract

As an alternative energy, the potential of wind power in Indonesia is quite high. Some of the constraints of wind power include the presence of intermittent winds, the average wind speed in the Indonesian is relatively low, or only certain areas that have moderate to high wind speeds, so that winds that are not too tight can cause the turbines not spinning. This study is about modifying a two pole single phase induction motor as a wind pico generator. Modifications made to the squirrel cage rotor induction motor become two poles axial flux permanent magnet rotors. The test results show that a two pole pico generator is not suitable to be applied to wind power units. Electric power produced by high-speed prime mover, above 1000 rpm only 2.53 Watts. Whereas when it is operated at low speed, less than 200 rpm, the maximum output power power only 44 mW.

Abstract

Electronics Tecnology is currently developing very rapidly. Computational capabilities that continue to increase are accompanied by a decrease in the size of the electronic components used on a chip or IC (Integrated Circuit). The size of the components that have reached nanometers makes the components very sensitive to impurities in the form of particles. A special fabrication place in the form of a cleanroom is needed so that the number of impurity particles can be controlled and the damage caused by impurity particles on the product can be reduced. One of the standards used to classify a cleanroom and measure the particles in it is ISO 14644-1. In this study, particle measurements were carried out in accordance with ISO 14644-1 standards to measure the number of particles in the TFME cleanroom. The measurement results classify the cleanroom in TFME into ISO Class 7. This is consistent with the initial TFME cleanroom design, meaning that the particle filtration system is still in a good condition.

Abstract

Solders are essential for the construction of many engineering materials. The use of soldering in electronic packaging has become increasingly critical in today's world. In the electronic manufacturing industry, alternative soldering materials based on tin metal have developed gradually over the last two decades. Manufacturing companies are primarily concerned about removing lead from electronic manufacturing and waste recycling by switching to the lead-free solder. Environmental and human health are adversely affected by exposure to high lead levels in consumer products. The manufacturing industry has switched to lead-free soldering to support their social responsibility initiatives. The three categories of lead-free solder are classified according to temperature range: high-temperature solder, medium-temperature solder, and low-temperature solder. This research is conducted based on the approach of study literature, which is obtained from some papers that generally explain lead-free solder. To provide additional knowledge which is expected to add new insights about the importance of lead-free usage and its behavior.

Abstract

Conducting robotics training as a community service to improve basic knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for students is one of the ways to improve their basic knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for students is one of the most important aspects of the facing the industrial era 4.0 and society 5.0. Through the Service-Learning approach, this community service by collaborating with Granada International in Batam by involving 29 students, consisting of 7 students from class X, 15 students from class XI, and the rest from class XII, class XI students, and the rest from class XII. The results of mentoring through robotics training were able to increase the average STEM skills of students by 38.15%. In addition, the activity was successfully implemented with participant satisfaction levels above 50% for the subject matter, instructor, and training equipment. Only 17% of the trainees stated that the training time was insufficient, especially for practicum.
