Abstract

This research aims to determine the description of student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning for class IV students at SDN 21 Tangnga-Tangnga and to determine the effect of implementing the blended learning model on Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 21 Tangnga-Tangnga. This type of research is a quasi-experiment which shows the influence of variable This research uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design as the research design. The instrument used in this research was a learning outcomes test given to students in both classes. The data analysis used is Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Hypothesis Test. Hypothesis testing was carried out using paired samples T-Test. The results showed that the pre-test scores for the two classes had no difference, namely 58.50. The average difference obtained in the post-test score for the experimental class was 80.00, higher than the control class with an average post-test score of 74.83. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is known that the probability value obtained is smaller than 0.05. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of the blended learning model on Indonesian language learning outcomes at SDN No. 21 Tangnga-Tangnga Bantaeng.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the description of higher-order thinking skills in RPP Theme 6 Subtheme 3 class V SD Inpres Gantarang District Tinggimoncong Gowa Regency by analyzing : (1) Operational verbs on the components of Competency Achievement Indicators ;(2)  Operational verbs  on learning  objectives;  and (3) steps of learning activities. Analysis of  Higher Order Thibnking Skills (HOTS)  of Operational Verbs on indicators and learning objectives refers to the cognitive level of Bloom's Taxonomy, while analysis on the steps of learning activities refers to critical thinking criteria. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of document study research and uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The focus of this research is the Learning Implementation Plan for grade V teachers theme 6 subtheme 3 SD Inpres Gantarang. The data collection technique in this study is by documentation study. The results showed that: (1) The description of HOTS in the Competency Achievement Indicators section, namely Operational Verbs used is still dominated by low cognitive levels C1-C3; (2) The description of HOTS in Learning Objectives also still uses operational verbs dominated by low cognitive levels C1-C3; (3) The description of HOTS in the learning activity step is that the teacher has included activities that invite students to think higher level when viewed based on critical thinking criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning outcomes in thematic learning for Class V SDN Borongkanang Kec. Bontonompo Kab. Gowa. The focus of this research is the application of the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model and student learning outcomes in thematic learning. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with this type research, namely Classroom Action Research which consists of 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that there is an increase in the quality of learning, both in teacher-teaching activities and student learning activities as well as student learning outcomes. The results of observations of teacher teaching activities and student learning activities in cycle I were still in the poor category, while in cycle II there was an increase in the good category. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in thematic learning through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. The test results of cycle I mean that the average student score has not reached the KKM that has been determined, while in cycle II there has been an increase where the average student score has met the KKM that has been determined. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning class V SDN Borongkanang Kec. Bontonompo Kab. Gowa.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem of low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of the application of the recitation method, to determine the picture of learning outcomes mathematics UPT SPF SD Inpres Rapokalling 1 District Tallo Makassar. This research is included in experimental research with quantitative approach. The design used in this study is a quasi experiment with a type of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is all students of Class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Rapokalling 1 District Tallo Makassar. The samples in this study were 30 students of VA class and 32 students of VB class who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The Data in this study were collected using observation sheets, and student learning outcomes. The Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the application of the recitation method went very well. The results of inferential analysis using an independent sample t-test showed that there were differences in pretest and posttest results between the experimental class and the control class which means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental group better than the control group. So it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process by applying the method of recitation is very good; (2) student learning outcomes indicate an increase in student learning outcomes in learning; (3) there is an influence on the application of the method of recitation UPT SPF SD Inpres Rapokalling 1 District Tallo Makassar City

Abstract

Audio visual media is media that can only be seen and does not contain sound elements, for example pictures, paintings, photos, and so on. (Liza Husnita 2023) Listening is a basic language skill and a stage that humans must go through, namely from childhood, which is the first and main skill that must support the other three language skills. (Ernawati & Rasna (2020) This research is an experimental research that aims to: 1) ) To find out an overview of the use of audio visual media on the learning process of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar, 2) To find out the description of story listening skills in the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar, 3) To find out the influence of audio visual media on story listening skills on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar. This type of research is quasi experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is all students of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar totaling 57 people with a sample of class V A as an experimental class with a total of 28 students and class V B as a control class with a total of 29 students. The variables of this study consist of the independent variable, namely the use of audio-visual media and the bound variable, namely listening skills on learning outcomes. The research procedure used is in two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The data collection technique of this research is by conducting observations and tests with data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential techniques which are divided into normality tests, homogeneity and hypothesis tests. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the use of audio-visual media in the learning process results in a positive impact so that it produces a very good category. The listening skills based on the results of the posttest in the experimental class showed an increase to the medium category from the low category. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, a value of 0.001 < 0.05 was obtained, which means that there is a difference between the class that was given audio visual media treatment and the class that was not given treatment. Based on this, it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media is effectively used to improve students' listening skills in the learning outcomes of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar

Abstract

This study examines the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing the critical reasoning skills of fourth-grade students in Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. The research problem focuses on how the application of the Problem Based Learning model improves students' critical reasoning skills in Indonesian language learning in the fourth grade at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in enhancing the critical reasoning skills of students in Indonesian language learning in the fourth grade at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis & McTaggart model. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In Cycle I, the process includes planning, which involves identifying problems, setting goals, and planning actions. The actions taken involve using the PBL model, providing worksheets and relevant problems. Observation is conducted during the action process to observe the learning process of teachers and students using the PBL steps and to collect observational data. The next stage is reflection, which aims to evaluate and conclude students' critical reasoning abilities using tests. In this stage, it is observed that there are aspects that need improvement and the determination of the next steps. The results of the study show that in Cycle I, the teacher observation results fall into the less satisfactory category, and the student observation results also fall into the less satisfactory category or have not yet reached the success standard. Meanwhile, the results of students' critical reasoning tests in Cycle I are in the low criteria or it can be said that many students have not yet met the success standard. In Cycle II, the planning stage involves identifying problems based on the results of Cycle I, setting goals, and planning actions. During the action stage, the PBL model is used, and relevant worksheets and problems are provided. Observation is conducted during the action process to observe the learning process of teachers and students using the PBL steps and to collect observational data. The reflection stage uses evaluation tests to evaluate and conclude students' critical reasoning abilities. As a result, the teacher observation results in Cycle II fall into the good category, and the student observation results in Cycle II also fall into the good category or have reached the desired success standard. The results of the students' critical reasoning tests in Cycle II show that the researcher succeeded in enhancing the students' critical reasoning abilities to a very high criterion.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem identified at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City, namely the low multiplication calculation skills of the students. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the use of ice cream stick learning media in Grade II at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City; (2) to describe the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City; and (3) to determine the effect of using ice cream stick learning media on the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The research design used was the nonequivalent control group design. The independent variable in this study was the ice cream stick learning media, and the dependent variable was the students' multiplication calculation skills. The study involved two classes: the experimental class (II A) and the control class (II B), with the sampling technique used being purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation sheets and tests. The data collection procedure consisted of a pretest, treatment, and posttest, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results of the study show that: (1) the learning activities using ice cream stick media were conducted effectively; (2) the multiplication calculation skills of students improved after being taught using the ice cream stick media, as indicated by significant differences between the experimental and control classes in terms of test scores and observation sheets. This was proven by the shift in student performance from the "fair" to "good" category based on the pretest and posttest results; and (3) there is a significant effect of using ice cream stick learning media on the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City.

Abstract

This experimental study aims to determine: 1) the implementation level of the whole language learning approach through journal writing for grade II students at UPT SDN Paccinongan Unggulan, 2) the improvement in reading-writing literacy of these students, and 3) the effect of this approach on their literacy skills. The research uses a Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The population consists of all grade II students at UPT SDN Paccinongan Unggulan, with a sample size of 72 selected through purposive sampling. The independent variable is the whole language learning approach through journal writing, and the dependent variable is the improvement in reading and writing literacy. Data was collected through observations and tests, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential techniques. Descriptive analysis showed the journal writing approach was very well implemented in the learning process. Literacy skills, based on posttest results, improved from low to high in the experimental class. Inferential statistical analysis indicated a significant effect of the journal writing approach on literacy improvement, with a sig value of 0.002 < 0.05. Consequently, the application of this approach in the experimental class was highly effective, as evidenced by the improved implementation of the learning process from "well implemented" to "very well implemented" and a significant increase in literacy skills. The experimental class's posttest scores were high compared to the control class's medium scores, demonstrating the approach's positive impact on grade II students at UPT SDN Paccinongan Unggulan.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of problems found at SD Inpres Tello Baru 1.1, namely low student learning motivation. This research aims to determine the effect of using interactive multimedia-based teaching materials on the motivation to learn summer science material and the progress of fifth grade elementary school students Tello Baru 1.1. This research is included in experimental research with quantitative approach. The independent variable in this research is open material based on interactive multimedia, while the dependent variable is learning motivation. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SD Inpres Tello Baru 1.1 with a total of 38 people, while the sample was the VA class as a class experiment with 19 students and class VB as the control class with 19 people as comparison. Research data obtained with learning motivation questionnaires in the form of pre-nontest and post-nontest. Analysis of results Descriptive shows the use of open edugame materials goes by category low at pre-nontest and high post-nontest. Results of inferential analysis with using the independent sample t test shows that there are differences in results post-nontest between the experimental and control classes which means there is motivation learning science in the experimental class was better than in the control class. So that it can be concluded that interactive multimedia-based teaching materials are influential with > 0.05 in increasing motivation to learn science and hot material movement of class V students at SD Inpres Tello Baru 1.1.
