Abstract

This research was conducted with the discovery of problems at SDN 82 Singkawang, namely there are still students who violate the rules. This research aims to: 1) Knowing the types of violations of the rules of the VA class students at SDN 82 Singkawang; 2) Describe the factors that cause violations of the VA class discipline at SDN 82 Singkawang; 3) Describe the role of teachers in overcoming violations of the VA class discipline at SDN 82 Singkawang. This research design is qualitative research with a type of case study research. The informants in this study were the fifth grade teacher, 5 fifth grade students, and the principal of SDN 82 Singkawang in the 2023/2024 school year. This research was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion.. The results showed 1) The types of rule violations that occurred were students not doing homework, being late, not wearing complete uniforms, and speaking harshly. 2) Factors that cause violation of the rules are lack of desire to comply with the rules, friends and teachers. 3) The role of the teacher as a mentor has been carried out well but the teacher is still lacking in inviting students to discipline in worship. The role of the teacher as a teacher educator is still less assertive in giving punishment. The role of the teacher as a motivator is still lacking in providing rewards. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan ditemukannya permasalahan di SDN 82 Singkawang yaitu masih terdapat siswa yang melanggar tata tertib. Penelitian ini bertujuan : 1) Mengetahui jenis pelanggaran tata tertib siswa kelas VA di SDN 82 Singkawang; 2) Mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan pelanggaran tata tertib siswa kelas VA di SDN 82 Singkawang; 3) Mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam mengatasi pelanggaran tata tertib siswa kelas VA di SDN 82 Singkawang. Desain penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah wali kelas V, 5 orang siswa kelas V, dan kepala sekolah SDN 82 Singkawang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini didapat melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Jenis pelanggaran tata tertib yang terjadi adalah siswa tidak mengerjakan PR, terlambat, tidak menggunakan seragam lengkap, serta berbicara kasar. 2) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan pelanggaran tata tertib yaitu kurangnya keinginan untuk mematuhi tata tertib, teman dan guru. 3) Peran guru sebagai pembimbing sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik namun guru masih kurang dalam mengajak peserta didik disiplin dalam beribadah. Peran guru sebagai pendidik guru masih kurang tegas dalam memberikan hukuman. Peran guru sebagai motivator masih kurang dalam memberikan reward.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To determine the difference in social skills between students who are given traditional clog games and classes that are not given traditional clog games; 2) To find out how much influence the traditional game of Bakiak has on improving the social skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang; 3) To find out how students respond to traditional clog games in class V at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative research method True experiment design, in the form of Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 54 Singkawang in the 2024 school year totaling 55 students, namely 27 VA class students and 28 VB class students. Samples were taken using non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques in the form of a social skills questionnaire containing 20 statements and a student response questionnaire to the traditional clog game containing 20 statements. Data analysis techniques use Normality test, Homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, Effect Size, and calculating responses. The results of the analysis found that the data was normally distributed. The results showed 1) there were differences in social skills between students who were given traditional clog games and classes that were not given traditional clog games. After being calculated with a two-sample t test, the tcount> ttable is 4.8875> 2.0057, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. 2) The traditional clog game has a big effect with a high category on the social skills of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 54 Singkawang in the experimental class who received treatment with the effect size test results of 1.365147. 3) The average student response to the traditional clog game was obtained at 87% with a very high category range, So it can be concluded that there is an effect of traditional clog games on the social skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 54 Singkawang.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' initial reading abilities using the Whole Language Reading Aloud model for class II students at SDN 94 Singkawang and to describe the implementation of the use of the Whole Language Reading Aloud model in Indonesian language learning in class II at SDN 94 Singkawang. The type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The subjects and objects in this research were the Indonesian language teacher as the subject, and all class II students at SDN 94 Singkawang, totaling 30 students, as the object. Data collection techniques are test, observation, interview and documentation techniques with data collection tools in the form of initial reading ability test sheets, observation sheets and interview sheets. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are: 1) the initial reading ability of class II students at SDN 94 Singkawang using the reading aloud method is in the good category, reaching a percentage of 80%. 2) the implementation of the use of the whole language reading aloud type model in Indonesian language learning in Class IIA SDN 94 Singkawang which is carried out with learning steps and is effective in improving Indonesian language learning activities, especially towards beginning reading abilities. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the use of the reading aloud method on students' initial reading abilities in Class IIA SDN 94 Singkawang was effective in improving Indonesian language learning activities, especially on initial reading abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences and influences in using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media on the science and science learning of class V students at SDN 5 Singkawang as well as students' responses to the TGT learning model. The research used is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 5 Singkawang. This research sample uses samples based on class or also called Cluster Sampling. The data collection technique used in this research is a test technique in the form of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain and non-tests in the form of student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis in the form of t-test, effect size and descriptive percentage. The results of the research show that: 1) There are differences in the cognitive learning outcomes of students who use the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model with direct learning in science and science learning for class V students. This is shown based on the results of the polled t-test test calculation variant > is 9.125 > 2.017. 2) The TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media in learning has a high influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of science and science subjects for class V students at SDN 5 Singkawang. This can be seen from the calculation of the effect size, namely 2.4944 and the criteria are high because 2.4944 is at ES > 0.8. 3) Positive student response to the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media in class V elementary school. This is shown from the calculations that the percentage of student responses of 84% is included in the high category.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy ability is one of the important abilities for students to have. One of the factors that influence numeracy literacy ability is students' learning initiative and learning independence. This study aims to: 1) describe numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau; 2) describe the factors that influence numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 18 grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau. The object of this study is numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence. Data collection techniques in this study used numeracy literacy ability tests, learning independence questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study obtained were 1) numeracy literacy skills based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence, namely, (a) students with a high learning independence category are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills well, and have an average score of 69.25 with moderate criteria; (b) students with a moderate learning independence category are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills well, and have an average score of 58.87 with moderate criteria; (c) students with a low learning independence category are only able to meet the first indicator, namely solving problems in the context of everyday life, but have not been able to analyze information, and have not been able to interpret the results of the analysis to make decisions well, and have an average score of 47.83 with low criteria. 2) factors that influence numeracy literacy skills based on AKM questions based on student learning independence are from the students themselves, including the level of learning motivation, interest, student intellectuality, independence, and concentration.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the methods used by teachers at SDN 93 Singkawang to instill disciplined character in grade III students; and 2) Identify the factors that instructors naturally use to support and impede the development of disciplined character in grade III students. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive technique, the research methodology for this study is qualitative. Observations, documentation, and interviews are used as data collecting techniques. The principal, educators, and students served as the study's participants. The teacher's method for helping pupils develop disciplined character is the focus of this study. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model make a match berbantuan media video pembelajaran pada materi cahaya dan sifatnya kelas V SDN 92 Singkawang. 2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 92 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model make a match berbantuan media video pembelajaran pada materi cahaya dan sifatnya kelas V SDN 92 Singkawang dengan hasil perhitungan uji T yaitu T-hitung = 5,22117 ≥ nilai T-tabel = 1,70329, maka terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran make a macth berbantuan media video terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang besar model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 92 Singkawang dengan perhitungan uji Effect Size dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test = 29,64 < rata-rata post-test = 91,43 yang bearti dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar IPAS.

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) determine the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' adaptive reasoning ability, 2) quantify the improvement in this ability within IPAS learning. This quantitative study employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 30 fourth-grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang. Data was collected through an adaptive reasoning ability test. Before hypothesis testing, a Shapiro-Wilk normality test was conducted, revealing that both pre-test (Sig. = 0.095) and post-test (Sig. = 0.194) data were normally distributed, thus meeting the requirements for parametric testing. The data analysis techniques used were the paired sample t-test and N-Gain calculation. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant increase in students' adaptive reasoning ability after the implementation of the PjBL model, with the average pre-test score of 55.8 increasing to 74.9 on the post-test. The paired sample t-test yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. (2) the N-Gain calculation showed an average value of 73.22%, which falls into the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is effective and has a significant impact on improving the adaptive reasoning ability of fourth-grade students in IPAS learning at SDN 26 Singkawang.

Abstract

Instilling multicultural values is one of the methods used for cross-cultural learning by forming mindsets, attitudes, actions and habits so that Indonesian national awareness emerges. The research aims to find out: (1) the cultivation of multicultural values in developing social tolerance attitudes (2) factors that influence the cultivation of multicultural values in developing social tolerance attitudes. This research is a qualitative research, with observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the study show that (1) the cultivation of multicultural values carried out by schools to develop social tolerance attitudes by applying them through learning in the classroom and outside the classroom as well as supervision during the school environment. The inculcation of multicultural values in the classroom can be done through the subject of Pancasila Education, it can also be through the arrangement of student seating in the classroom. While outside the classroom, it can be by holding extracurriculars, especially for scouts. As for supervision in the school environment, security guards play a role in guarding students, as well as teachers while at school; (2) There are 2 factors that affect the cultivation of structural values in developing social tolerance attitudes, namely, supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include school climate, extracurriculars, the role of teachers, facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are ethnocentrism, stereotypes, bad prejudice, racism, discrimination and scapegoating.
