Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan alat potong batu alam dengan pertimbangan keamanan operatornya dan bermanfaat untuk kegiatan produksi menjadi lebih aman dan lancar. Ukuran batu potong berdiameter maksimal 30 cm dengan bentuk persegi atau persegi panjang. Mekanisme alat direncanakan agar dapat memudahkan pekerjaan pemotongannya. Alat yang direncanakan ini juga biasa disebutdenganalatbantupegangfleksibel (Alat bantu dorong). Cara kerja alat, motor penggerak dihidupkan untuk menggerakan puli pada motor penggerak, Putaran motor penggerak diteruskan oleh sebuah sabuk – V tipe A sebanyak satu buah dengan panjang sabuk = 1626 mm. Sedangkan puli sebanyak = 2 buah, diameter puli penggerak = 70 mm dan diameter puli yang digerakan = 385. Mata pisau pemotong dari bahan besi baja berkekuatan tinggi (Pisau potong Blade). Bentuk mata pisau bulat dengan alas atau penutupnya baja ringan setengah lingkaran mata pisau = 800 mm dan diameter pisau potong 600 mm. Bantalan yang digunakan untuk menempuh poros dipilih bantalan gelinding jenis terbuka dengan nomor 6006 yang menggunakan baris tunggal dengan diameter dalam = 30 mm, diameter luar = 35 mm. Dari semua perhitungan terhadap kekuatan dari komponen-komponen yang digunakan maka mesin pemotong batu alam ini aman untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Oxyacetylene Generator available in commercially has a price which is more expensive and has a complicated construction workings. Therefore it is necessary Oxyacetylene generator with a more simple construction made of materials that are easily obtainable and has a good safety factor and easy to operate. Oxyacetylene gas formation process which is not proportional to the strength of the materials used can result in damage of occurrence, because it needs to be calculated strength of the construction of the generator Oxyacetylene. This research used steel pipe with a diameter of 141.322 mm and a thickness of 9.7 mm and an overall length of 1510 mm. The maximum gas pressure that occurs Oxyacetylene 20.25 with the average voltage in the Oxyacetylene generator amounted to 60.65 N / m2. Test results indicate that the generator design asitelin result has been able to work well. From the test data showed that the length of the door frame welding Oxyacetylene generator is 93.31, while the welding length is 360 mm designed it can be said safely against the forces acting due to the pressure and stress that occurs in the Oxyacetylene generator still under stress and pressure of the material permits. With a force that will decide the generator cover amounting to 317,380.39 N Oxyacetylene declared safe to welding because σi = 125 N / mm2 greater than τ = 101.79 N / mm2. While the force will decide on the lintel of 317,380.39 N Oxyacetylene generator is declared safe to welding because σi = 125 N / mm2 greater than τ = 124.6 N / mm2.

Abstract

To build a building, it is very important to pay attention to occupational health and safety (K3) for its residents. At the Nusa Cendana University Rectorate Building, the availability of a fire prevention and control system is very important. The purpose of this study was to analyze the extent of the fire prevention and control system in the Rectorate Building, University of Nusa Cendana. The fire hazard prevention systems analyzed are Fire Alarm, Fire Detector, Light Fire Extinguisher (APAR), Automatic Sprinklers, Fire Hydrants, Upright Pipe Systems, Water Supply Systems, Fire Pumps. The fire hazard management systems analyzed are the Fire Management Organization, Fire Emergency Action Procedures, and Fire Emergency Action Education and Training. The regulations that are used as a comparison with conditions in the field are the Minister of Public Works Regulation Number 26 / PRT / M / 2008, Number 20 / PRT / M / 2009, and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 10, 13, 14, 72, 101, 251. Based on the results of the analysis of the fire prevention and control system at the Rectorate Building of the University of Nusa Cendana, it is known that there are systems that are by accordance with the applicable regulations and there are also systems that are not by accordance with the applicable regulations. For this reason, the management of the Rectorate Building at the University of Nusa Cendana is advised to improve the existing fire prevention and control system so that it is by accordance with applicable regulations

Abstract

The process of cooling and freezing carried out on fish products is one of the preservation methods that apply a cooling machine in its operation. The refrigeration machine used applies a steam compression refrigeration system with R404A refrigerant as its working fluid. A design that is not following the standards can result in significant losses both in material and economic terms. Besides, the wrong model can also cause the performance of the engine to cool down. The purpose of this study is to design and analyze the performance of cold storage for freezing fish using Coolselector®2 software version 3.6.1. Performance analysis is based on superheating and subcooling temperature variations to determine its effect on the performance of the cooling engine. Changes for superheat temperatures carried out at the 8K, 9K, 10K, 11K and 12K levels while the subcooling temperature is considered constant at the 3K level. Variations were made at subcooling temperatures at the 3K, 4K, 5K, 6K and 7K levels with superheat temperatures considered consistent at the 5K level. The result of cold storage room design shows that the room has a cooling capacity of 14.54 kW. Analysis of the performance of the engine coolant design shows that the refrigeration machine has excellent performance. It will be proved by the higher subcooling and superheat temperatures, the COP also increase. The most top COP is at the 12K superheat temperature level of 2.045, while for the subcooling temperature at the 7K level of 3.144

Abstract

HIX symbolize human work from beginning to end. "X" is a variable for: design, manufacturing, test, and so on. “HI” symbolizes human integrated. Human Integrated System (HID) is a system designed with the capabilities and limitations possessed by humans so that the results of the design can increase effectiveness. Occupational diseases are caused by work and work attitudes. One of the occupational diseases of the spine is lower back pain, which arises due to a static position at work and is continuous. Every year 15%-45% of adults suffer from low back pain and generally occurs at the age of 35-55 years. The application of ergonomics is a design activity or redesign that is adapted to technological advances as well as anatomy, psychology, industrial medicine. The sitting position during the process of carrying out weaving activities which lasts a long time with a time of 8 hours per day, causes the sitting position to become less comfortable and results in complaints of pain in the back or spine. The ultimate goal of this study is to implement the concept of ergonomics in the use of traditional looms so as to reduce complaints of pain or spinal pain from weavers

Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi para petani adalah pada pemecah cangkang kemiri yang dibuat sebelumnya masih memiliki kekurangan yaitu dari segi produksi, Proses pemecahan biji kemiri biasanya dilakukan oleh masyarakat secara konvensional yaitu menggunakan palu karet, dari prinsip kerjanya secara manual tentu cara ini tidak terlalu efektif dari sisi tenaga dan waktu. Oleh karena itu sudah dirancang mesin pemecah cangkang kemiri secara mekanik, agar proses produksi bisa berlangsung dengan produksinya yang lebih besar. Hal ini perlu di modifikasi dinding bentur dan perlakuan awal pada alat pemecah kemiri sehingga memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik yaitu isi kemiri utuh diharapkan lebih banyak dari isi kemiri yang hancur.

Abstract

A pellet printing machine is a device specifically designed to produce pig feed using a 1 HP motor with a rotation speed of 1400 RPM. This machine is designed in a vertical form with an internal pressing screw, called a roller. The pressing screw will press the organic mixture towards the perforated printing screen with a hole size of 5 mm to form pellets. This research aims to design a pig feed machine and test its operation over a specific period. The testing of this machine involves collecting experimental data through three repetitions with a mixture weight of 5 kg, consisting of 1 kg of fish meal, 2 kg of organic waste, and 1 kg of rice bran. The collected data includes the capacity of the printed feed over a specific period and the percentage of unprinted material. The results show that the machine can produce pellets with an average effective capacity of 3733.33 g/second and an average yield of 3.33% unprinted material. The production rate achieved is 8.373 kg/hour.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, siklus Rankine organik telah menjadi salah satu solusi alternatif pembangkit listrik ramah lingkungan karena dapat menggunakan sumber kalor bertemperatur rendah atau sumber kalor berdaya rendah. Namun, penggunaan fluida kerja organik yang lebih ramah lingkungan sebagai pengganti R245FA telah menjadi tuntutan pada masa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh temperatur evaporasi terhadap kinerja energi siklus Rankine organik standar dengan fluida kerja R245FA, R515A, dan R1233ZD. Kinerja termodinamika didasarkan pada variasi temperatur evaporator menggunakan perangkat lunak Genetron Properties. Besaran-besaran penting yang dianalisis adalah laju aliran massa, daya pemompaan, penyerapan kalor, pelepasan kalor, rasio tekanan turbin, dan efisiensi termal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan temperatur evaporasi sangat berdampak pada peningkatan konsumsi daya pemompaan, rasio tekanan di turbin, dan efisiensi termal sistem. Namun, dibutuhkan daya pemompaan yang lebih besar untuk mensirkulasikan R515A dibandingkan dengan mensirkulasikan R245FA dan R1233ZD. Sistem ORC yang menggunakan R1233ZD memiliki efisiensi termal tertinggi dibandingkan R245FA dan R515A sehingga pada masa yang akan datang fluida kerja tersebut sangat cocok untuk menggantikan R245FA.

produce quality poultry chicks. However, the natural egg-hatching process is often less efficient and susceptible to fluctuations in environmental temperature. Therefore, to increase the efficiency and results of egg hatching, this research aims to design and test an automatic chicken egg incubator that uses solar energy. This tool is designed to consider factors such as temperature, humidity, and air circulation required for optimal egg hatching. Testing was carried out for 21 days, by monitoring environmental temperature, humidity, and temperature distribution in the egg hatching room. The test results showed that the tool was able to reach the desired temperature for hatching eggs and succeeded in hatching several eggs well, while some other eggs experienced defects or died during the hatching process. In addition, power and energy consumption analysis shows that the device has quite good efficiency in using energy, with low energy consumption to maintain the room temperature within the desired range. The solar-powered automatic egg incubator has the potential to increase the efficiency and yield of egg hatching in the livestock industry and can be an environmentally friendly alternative by utilizing solar energy which is available freely and sustainably

Abstract

ABSTRACT Cassava is one of the agricultural commodities spread across most parts of Indonesia, especially in the province of NTT. The abundant potential makes cassava a staple food for the people of East Nusa Tenggara. UD. ML is a company that produces and markets cassava chips to meet the needs of the people of Kupang and its surroundings. During the cassava chips production process, the tools used are still using manual choppers with human power, so that it can cause defective products to be produced, such as errors in cutting that are not too thin or thick and the pieces are destroyed because they are too thin and worker fatigue when chopping cassava . The research method used in this study is the experimental method, observation and literature study. From the test results, it was found that the chopping capacity at blade setting A was 660 grams, knife B was 740 grams, and knife C was 800 grams, with a thickness of 1-3mm.
