Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam mencetak generasi yang kompeten, berintegritas, dan adaptif terhadap tantangan global. Keberhasilan institusi pendidikan dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut sangat bergantung pada penerapan manajemen strategis yang terencana, sistematis, dan berbasis data. Artikel ini mengangkat konsep trilogi sukses sekolah yang terdiri dari Rencana Strategis (Renstra), Rencana Operasional (Renop), dan Program Kerja sebagai pilar utama dalam pengelolaan pendidikan. Renstra berfungsi sebagai kerangka arah jangka panjang, Renop menjabarkannya ke dalam langkah operasional, dan Program Kerja menjadi panduan teknis pelaksanaan. Ketiga elemen ini membentuk sistem yang terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui penetapan prioritas, pengelolaan sumber daya, dan evaluasi kinerja yang berkelanjutan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi konsep utama dari Renstra, Renop, dan Program Kerja; (2) menjelaskan peran trilogi ini dalam pengelolaan sekolah; serta (3) memberikan panduan praktis bagi lembaga pendidikan. Dengan pendekatan yang berbasis data dan contoh kasus, artikel ini menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara ketiga elemen dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan modern. Penerapan trilogi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen, responsivitas terhadap perubahan, serta kolaborasi antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Artikel ini diharapkan menjadi referensi praktis bagi kepala sekolah, guru, dan pengelola pendidikan lainnya dalam menciptakan institusi yang unggul dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

There is often a gap between public and private teachers. Many factors influence and lead to their professionalism as teachers. Professional teachers are needed to improve the quality of education in schools. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher welfare on teacher professionalism, the effect of work motivation on teacher professionalism, and to determine the effect of welfare and work motivation on teacher professionalism in private vocational schools in Bojonegoro district. This research is a quantitative research type with a research sample of 166 private vocational school teachers in Bojonegoro sub-district. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of teacher welfare on teacher professionalism (regression equation Y = 60.087 + 0.312X1, r = 0.561 and contribution of 31.5%); there was an influence of work motivation on teacher professionalism (regression equation Y = 45.625 + 0.827X2, r = 0.639 with contribution of 40.8%.; and there was an influence of teacher welfare, and work motivation on teacher professionalism equation Y = 10.751 + 0.114X1 + 0.377X2, r = 0.689 and contribution of 47.5%). The results of this study provide recommendations to related parties to develop a program for mentoring private teacher professionalism in order to meet the target goals of developing educators and education personnel. Teacher professionalism mentoring will look at factors that increase teacher capacity as professional teachers who have relatively the same opportunities for improving welfare and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategic role of the principal in improving teacher performance in elementary schools. The study uses a qualitative approach through literature studies, this study analyzes relevant theories, government regulations, especially Perdirjen GTK No. 7607/B.B1/HK.03/2023—and findings from previous studies. The role of the principal is discussed based on the EMASLIM framework (Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator, and Motivator). The results of the research reviewed in this study indicate a significant relationship between principal leadership and improved teacher performance. Based on literature studies, the dimensions of the principal's role as an educator and leader have the highest contribution to improving teacher professionalism. Meanwhile, the role of the principal contributes to improving teacher quality and improving teacher performance. Thus, it can be concluded that strengthening the principal's leadership competency is an important key in efforts to improve teacher performance and the quality of education as a whole. The principal needs to act as a visionary, supportive, and collaborative learning leader.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan mutu sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru melalui pendekatan studi literatur dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, buku akademik, dan regulasi pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah yang efektif mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, memberikan supervisi akademik yang mendukung, serta memotivasi guru untuk terus mengembangkan profesionalisme mereka. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kompetensi manajerial, sosial, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru serta kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Sebagai kesimpulan, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kompetensi kepala sekolah dalam aspek kepemimpinan dan manajemen guna meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Dengan demikian, kepala sekolah diharapkan dapat berperan lebih aktif dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of transformational leadership by school principals in improving teacher performance at both primary and secondary education levels, based on a review of several literature sources. The findings indicate that: (1) there is a significant and positive influence of principals' transformational leadership on teacher performance at both primary and secondary school levels; (2) transformational leadership by school principals can enhance teachers' commitment and performance in implementing the Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) curriculum; and (3) transformational leadership improves teacher performance through four key dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. These findings highlight the crucial role of school principals as transformational leaders in fostering optimal teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to learn how the school principal's leadership in transformational leadership can help to improve the quality of education. Kepemimpinan transformasional is crucial to creating a productive and innovative learning environment. This study highlights some important aspects of educational quality, school leadership, and transformational leadership. The analysis's findings indicate that a school's head who implements transformational leadership practices can improve teacher productivity, which helps to raise educational standards. The head of the school who is able to create a positive and inclusive work environment also consistently creates a positive and inclusive work environment. In addition, this study identifies issues that arise while implementing transformational leadership, such as a lack of understanding of changes and the sumber daya. The results of this study indicate that the transformational leadership of the school has a significant impact on the quality of education. As a result, educators must understand and support the development of transformative leadership in schools. It is hoped that this will serve as a foundation for further research on the best practices in educational research and other research.

Abstract

The role of the principal as a leader must be distinct from the existing leadership style. The leadership style of a top school influences teachers' good and bad performance in the school institution where they teach. The purpose of this article is to find out: (1) The leadership style of the principal of SD Negeri 01 Dororejo. (2) Teacher Performance at SD Negeri 01 Dororejo. This research uses a qualitative approach with the case study method, with a single case study type. Researchers used data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and concluding the data that has been presented and reduced in guaranteeing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. The results of the study concluded that the leadership of the principal of SD Negeri 01 Dororejo uses two leadership styles, namely theauthoritarian leadership style, in disciplining teachers in daily attendance and completing administration. In comparison, in the following leadership style, namely the democratic leadership style, the principal gives freedom for teachers to develop theirabilities in various activities.

Abstract

The purpose of study to analyze the role of the principal as a learning leader in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Taman, Pemalang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of the principal as a learning leader in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Taman, Pemalang Regency, has been implemented effectively. In terms of the role of the principal as a learning leader, it is reflected in his ability to formulate a clear learning vision. In terms of the principal's strategy in leading learning, it is reflected in the ongoing professional development of teachers. The challenges faced by the principal in carrying out his role as a learning leader include limited resources, resistance to change, and administrative workload. Meanwhile, the impact of the principal's leadership on the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Taman is an increase in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of visionary leadership by school principals in enhancing the quality of education at SMP Negeri 7 Pemalang. A qualitative approach was employed with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the principal effectively plans strategies, controls educational quality, and develops the performance of teachers and students collaboratively. These strategies have had a positive impact on the quality of educational inputs, processes, and outputs. It is recommended that this leadership model be adopted by other schools to achieve excellent and competitive education.
