Abstract

Jobs as online motorcycle taxis attract a lot of public interest, but there are potential health problems for online motorcycle taxi drivers, one of the health problems is low back pain (lower back pain). This study was conducted to find complaints of low back pain in online motorcycle taxi drivers at the Indramayu Regency in 2021. This study used a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was 460 respondents. Samples were taken using purposive sampling of as many as 82 respondents. Measurement of Low back pain (lower back pain) using the Nordic body map. Data analysis was done by univariate, bivariate with chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that there are 56 respondents (68.3%) experiencing low back pain of moderate level. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a significant relationship between years of service (p-value 0.00) and complaints of low back pain in online motorcycle taxi drivers in  Indramayu Regency in 2021. In addition, the variables BMI (p-value 0.416), age (p-value 0.288), and smoking status (p-value 0.015) had no relationship with complaints of low back pain.

Abstract

Fatigue at work is one of the health and safety problems that can be a risk factor for accidents at work. Fatigue can be influenced by many factors, one of which is excessive nutritional intake and heavy workload. This study aims to determine the analysis of nutritional intake and to determine the relationship between nutritional intake and workload with fatigue levels in SPBE PD. Bumi Wiralodra Indramayu. This type of research is an analytic observational study using a cross sectional design. The sample in this study were workers at SPBE PD. Bumi Wiralodra Indramayu as many as 36 respondents. The analysis used was the chi square test. The results of this study indicate that: There were 24 respondents (66.7%) who felt tired and 12 (33.3%) who felt not tired. Respondents who had more nutritional intake were 33 people (91.7%) and those who felt that they had less nutritional intake were 3 people (8.3%). Respondents who have heavy workload are 16 people (44.4%) and respondents who have light work are 20 people (55.6%). There is no relationship between workers' nutritional intake and fatigue level with a P-value of 0.359. There is a relationship between workload and fatigue level with a P-value of 0.003. Companies are expected to pay more attention to working hours for workers, especially in the production section, so that no workers do work outside of operational hours.

Abstract

Background : The problem of sanitation development in Indonesia is a matter of socio-cultural challanges, one of which is the behavior of residents who are accustomed to defecating in the open place. These habits will automatically become a source of disease transmission if not taken seriously. Sambimaya Village is a village with limited access to the use of latrine, this is influenced by various factors such as the level of knowledge, education, latrine ownership and economy. Research Method : Using analytic observation design with Cross Sectional approach. The population of this research is all family heads in Sambimaya Village Juntinyuat District Indramayu Regency in 2019 as many as 1.024 families. The number of samples was 92 households taken systematically random sampling. Data were statistically analyzed using the Chi Square Test with a confidence level of 95%. Research Results : From the statistical test knowledge ρ value 0,000 < α (0,05), education ρ value 0,052 > α (0,05), latrine ownership ρ value 0,000 < α (0,05), and economic ρ value 0,919 > α (0,05). Research Conclusions : There is no relationship between education and economics with open defecation behavior in Sambimaya Village Juntinyuat Indramayu District in 2019.

Abstract

Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) 2023 shows an increase in traffic accidents in Indonesia with 155 thousand cases, and 66 thousand came from students, with motorbikes dominating (74.35%). Data from the Indramayu Police Traffic Unit in 2023 noted that 34 cases of traffic accidents involved high school students. Efforts to reduce traffic accidents include implementing safety riding behavior. SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu still has students who drive at high speed, despite the socialization by the Indramayu police regarding safety riding. This study aims to determine the factors associated with safety riding behavior in high school students of SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu in 2023. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.021, there was a relationship between attitude and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.044, there was no relationship between helmet availability and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.130, and there was a relationship between social environmental support and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.018. Thus there are factors related to safety riding behavior, namely knowledge, attitudes and social environmental support.
