Abstract

Abstract This study aims to design a CSM 16 TP type corn seeds planter by adopting the TP CSM 15 type corn seeds planter and a corn seeds planter integrated with the Kubota M9560 four-wheeled tractor, and testing technically the corn seeds planter covering effective field capacity, theoretical field capacity, field efficiency and planting effectiveness. The results of the study were 1 unit of maize seed planting tool TP CSM 16 type consisting of 2 static planting units, and technical testing of corn seeds planter in 10 m  5 m plot of land with 3 repetitions obtained the results is the average effective field capacity of 0,080 ha/hour, the average theoretical field capacity of 0,110 ha/hour and the average field efficiency of 72,54%. The results of field observations on the corn seeds planter is the average distance in row planting is 28,57 cm, the average distance between planting rows is 75,37 cm, the number of seeds per planting hole an average of 1 seed, the average planting depth of 4,23 cm, the percentage of seeds growing an average of 80.42% and the percentage of seeds not growing an average of 19.58%. Key words: Seeds planter, TP CSM 16, Hand Tractor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to calculate the number of water needs of the cucumber using a mixture of soil and wood charcoal in the polyester and to examine how a mixture of wood - based media has affected the growth of the cucumber. The study was designed to use a complete random with three experiments of land proportions and charcoal, and one control treatment without charcoal, treatment A (soil : charcoal 4:1), treatment of B (soil : charcoal 3:2), treatment of C (soil : charcoal 2 : 2), the treatment of K (control soil without charcoal) with 4 replications for each treatment, making the number of experiments 16. Research shows that the variant analysis of the amount of irrigation water used during the growth of cucumber plants from treating soil and charcoal to an average of A (4:1) = 10,035.33 ml r; B (3:2) = 10,698.33 ml; C (2 :2) = 11,060 ml; And K (without charcoal) = 8,716.67 ml, it turns out there is a significant difference between treatment. As for the growth of the plant and the growth of the fruit yield no significant difference. The use of wood charcoal as a medium to grow has a bearing on the formation of a cucumber.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive method by collecting data through field surveys, interviews and image analysis. The research results show that the Makansar irrigation network in Kema Satu Village consists of one main weir and three supply channels. The Makansar Satu Dam (BM I) irrigation channel is 3,129.53 ms long with a service area of 11.42 hectares. The Water Suplesi Satu (AS I) canal has a length of 1,885.36 ms and a service area of 10.22 hectares, the Water Suplesi Two irrigation canal (AS II) has a length of 544.26 and a service area of 1.77 hectares, the Water Suplesi Three irrigation canal ( AS III) has a length of 1,878.8 and a service area of 6.88 hectares. There are around 33 buildings along the irrigation canal, including 1 building, 24 tapping buildings, 7 complementary buildings, 1 tertiary box, and 1 spillway building. The condition of the network and buildings still requires a lot of technical treatment and a decline in the quality of services at the old weir, the growth of wild plants on the irrigation embankment, the presence of sedimentation and complementary buildings that are not utilized properly as water conservation efforts. The Makasar irrigation area (DI) has a P3A institution. The results of measuring the water discharge in the BM I Channel, the inflow was 0.23 m3/second and the outflow was 0.09 m3/second and the water loss was 0.14 m3/second. Measurements in the Channel (AS I) inflow were 0.07 m3/second and outflow 0.07 m3/second. Channel measurements (AS III) showed an inflow value of 0.03 m3/second and an outflow of 0.02 m3/second and water loss of 0.01 m3/second.
