Abstract

PT Yin Hwa Indonesia is a company that produces Shoelasts which will be used to support the production of shoes with world-famous brands. Based on the data obtained by researchers from the ERP system there are differences that occur between conditions in the field and data stored in the ERP system. This difference condition is getting bigger when the production of shoelast has exceeded 20000 pairs every month.The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the ERP system in the Shoelast Production Process and to find solutions related to the problems of implementing the ERP system so that problems regarding the application of the ERP system are no longer found.The research method used is the PDCA method, which is the method used to solve the problem of data differences in the ERP system that occurs in the production department.Observations and interviews conducted by researchers, there are several problems that must be taken corrective action, namely making SOPs due to the absence of SOPs related to the implementation of ERP systems in the production section, increasing bandwidth because ERP systems that use internet networks require a capacity that matches the number of ERP system users, worker training in order to improve competence in running an ERP system in the production section , and it is necessary to install additional software, namely Lan Messengger to support the speed of information between the recipient of information from consumers and the part that runs the information.From the observations, it can be suggested that improvements that need to be implemented by the company include making SOPs with ISO 9001: 2015 standards, increasing bandwidth, training workers and installing the Lan Messengger software

Abstract

PT. Tristan engineering is a company engaged in services and goods. This company provides services and procurement of goods or spare parts needed by other companies. The X-ray machine moves 165 rpm for 24 hours non-stop in checking the goods that come in and out of the company. In this situation, the damage can occur at any time and can cause uncertainty about the availability of the machines to support the checking process. This research aims to determine the application of the system and the benefits of the Reliability Centered Maintenance system on the application of maintenance of the x-ray machine conveyor motor. The research method used is the Reliability Centered Maintenance method, which is used to reduce downtime that occurs in PT. Tristan Engineering. The research results were obtained at PT. Tristan Engineering includes the absence of periodic maintenance, causing damage to the x-ray engine components. From the results of the improvement of the proposed conveyor motor maintenance application, the occurrence of downtime is caused by the identification of the failure to detect the severity value, occurrence, and detection of each component of the discussion and conclusion described using the FMEA method is 683 RPN, it must be done machine maintenance periodically. From the planning effort of Reliability Centered Maintenance accompanied by a comparative analysis, the proposed improvements can reduce the average downtime by 39% on the problems of each component accompanied by MTBF 2.412 hours

Abstract

       The presence of rejected products in the Phylon Injection departement in PT Adis Dimension Footwear is still considered by the negligence of Workers, Methode, Machine, Materials and the Environment that cause company losses because the company must reproduce to replace reject products.        The research was conducted to determine and analyze the level of defective products that occurred during 2017 and 2018, find out the highest types of reject, and know the factors causing these defective products.        This research was conducted with a case study qualitative approach (descriptive approach). Data collection by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Research procedures using the theory of Milles and Huberman. Data validity was done by triangulation. Moreover, Seven Tools is the method in this research.           The results of the analysis using the Pareto Diagram of rejecting in 2017 and 2018 were 171.164  pcs, and the highest reject was produced by burning, namely 58.414 pcs, of other types of reject, namely bubbles as many as 47.936 pcs, dirty as many as 37584 pcs, deformed as many as 14.770 pcs, hole as 8513 pcs and tearing as many as 3.947 pcs. The highest reject histogram was burning, which was 112353 pcs, and the Control Chart had p values out of UCL and LCL, which means that the product defect rate exceeded the control limit.        Based on the analysis results using the Seven Tools method, it can be concluded that the Seven Tools methode can find out the problems that occur in the company.

Abstract

Quality has become the most important force that results in organizational success. Defective products can have an impact on the company's image, customer satisfaction and even company revenue. Quality control measures by means of analysis and prevention need to be done reduce defects. The purpose of this study was to identify the number of defects in the Adidas Super Nova shoe product, the level of DPMO and the sigma value of the product With the six sigma method towards zero defect (zero failure rate). five stages in its application, namely Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). The research results of PT. Parkland World Indonesi obtained types of defects in shoes, consisting of 3 types, namely bigreat defects, stitching defects, and gluing defects (gluing strength of the sole). From 20649 the number of shoes examined, the most dominant defect was bigreat defect (glue stain), of 556 or 42% so that the average sigma value was 3.50 sigma. The suggestion given to provide training to operators so that the operator's ability and understanding becomes better, supervise operators at work, carry out regular checks and maintenance on the machines used
