Data were collected using 12 questions of family support questionnaire, and 6 questions of CERDIK behavior questionnaire that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Results: The majority of women were 67.1%, with an average age of 53.57 years, 37.1% had a high school education, 88.6% were married, 81.4% were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus for > 6 months, and 54.3% were cared for by a spouse. CERDIK behavior was implemented by 70% while 30% were not implemented, and good and sufficient family support was 77.1%. Fisher's test with p value = 0.004. Abstract

Background : Chronic kidney failure that has reached the final stage (stage 5) requires kidney replacement therapy, one of which is hemodialysis. One of the crucial aspects in patient management is compliance with diet. Objewctive : to identify dietary compliance patterns based on the characteristics of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Method: This study is quantitative in nature with a descriptive survey design. The population in this study consisted of all patients undergoing hemodialysis in the hemodialysis room of Arifin Ahmad Regional General Hospital in Riau Province, totaling 79 samples using total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a diet compliance questionnaire. This study used univariate frequency distribution analysis. Result: the majority of patients in the young adult category group (19-39 years old) 46 people (58,3%), male 40 people (50,6%), the median hemodialysis period is 4 years, and the last high school education is 48 people (60,8%). The results of dietary compliance of the majority were obtained non-compliance of 46 people (57.0%) with characteristics, young adult age (19-39 years old) 23 people (30%), female gender 24 people (30,37%), hemodialysis period 1-4 years 24 people (30,37%), and high school education 26 people (32,91%). Conclusion: the majority of respondents are women aged 19-39 years old with the last high school education and undergoing hemodialysis for 1-5 years. From the total respondents, more people did not comply with the diet than those who obeyed. Dietary compliance is higher in patients with hemodialysis period ≤4 years, age 19-39 years, and high school education. There was no significant difference in compliance based on gender.

Abstract

Background: Post-stroke patients often experience cognitive impairment that can affect their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL). Cognitive function plays an important role in supporting patients' independence in their daily lives. Impairment of this function can affect patients' ability to plan, remember, solve problems, and make decisions, thereby increasing their dependence on others and reducing their quality of life. Therefore, early identification and intervention of post-stroke cognitive impairment are essential to maximize recovery and improve patient independence. Objective : This study aims to analyze the relationship between cognitive function and ADL ability in post-stroke patients. Method : This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. This study was conducted using non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 30 respondents. The analysis used was univariate analysis with central tendency and frequency distribution as well as bivariate analysis using the person chi-square test. Result : The results of the analysis showed that the majority of respondents who had suffered a stroke were 58.97 years old, 17 respondents (56.7%) were male, 16 respondents (53.3%) had a high school education or equivalent, 22 respondents (72.2%) had ischemic stroke, 19 respondents (63.3%) had severe cognitive impairment, and 11 respondents (36.7%) had mild ADL dependence. The results of bivariate analysis using the Person Chi-Square test obtained a p-value of 0.098 (<0.05). conclusion : The results of this study can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between cognitive function and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) in post-stroke patients. Further research is recommended to explore the relationship between the level of cognitive impairment and ADL ability in post-stroke patients, as well as to identify factors that influence cognitive function recovery
