Abstract

Indonesia is the second largest coconut producing country in the world and demand for coconut products continues to increase both in the export and domestic markets. Coconut oil is one of the most important raw materials for making soap. There are two processes of making soap by saponification reaction, namely hot and cold processes. The purpose of this study was to provide scientific information about the benefits of adding the content of soap making. This research is expected to help improve the economy of coconut farmers in Indonesia. The materials used in this study were VCO, stearic acid, NaOH, glycerin, ethanol (70%), sorbitol solution (66.66%). This experimental research method uses laboratory experimental methods (pH and homogeneity tests) using descriptive analysis (using SPSS), to provide information about the manufacture of this soap product. The hot process method is carried out to streamline the saponification process in soap making so that ultra transparent soap products can be formed properly because the hot process has the advantage of accelerating the saponification reaction process. The results of testing/evaluation of ultra transparent soap products are in accordance with the SNI (1994) standard, namely having a satisfactory level of satisfaction, pH 9.46 and having homogeneity properties.

Abstract

Currently minimizing the level of product defects is the target of all manufacturing production lines, including automotive battery production processes. The purpose of this study was to reduce the level of dominant defects especially in the battery assembly process with Kaizen approach through 8 PDCA cycles. The implementation of Kaizen involves all parties in the company, both management and employees to obtain optimal results. The 8 cycles conducted in Kaizen implementation include Theme Determination, Target Determination, Current Situation Analysis and Cause Analysis, Cause Problem Analysis, Improvement Plan, Improvement Implementation, Result Evaluation, and Standardization. From the implementation results before Kaizen is used the defect rate in the automotive battery production process is 0.548% with the largest type of defect being the plate scrap in the battery assembly process. The implementation of Kaizen through 8 cycles of PDCA conducted for 6 months successfully reduced the defect rate by 20% to be able to meet the company's scrap target and means with continuous improvement it is able to reduce scrap plate in line with the target and from this result many benefits obtained by the company directly and indirectly.indirectly.

Abstract

SAn established company has a goal to produce products and services. To determine the company's performance in terms of quality and other KPI’s as measurement indicators are applied in the company. One way to measure organizational achievement with KPI to be more accurate is to use the SMART method. The expectation of a company that implements KPI is the optimal achievement of the specified target even though the implementation of several components has not been achieved. Production Ratio is one of the company's KPIs, some Plants have not met the expected expectations. There are 4 production plants, 3 plants did not reach the target, from the results of data processing Plant 1 has the highest DPMO value and the lowest Sigma when compared to other plants, process variations and product types affect quality and have an impact on KPI achievement.

Abstract

Employees are one of the important stakeholders in an organization. It is undeniable that the role of employees in the realization of products and services will determine the final result of a product or service. Employees in this case are defined as internal customers in the organization. If the satisfaction of employees as internal customers will certainly provide positive satisfaction to customers. Because of the importance of employee satisfaction, it is important for management to always measure and describe how the company's performance is in providing employee satisfaction. INTQUAL is a method of measuring employee satisfaction by considering employee expectations. With this method, the company will find it easier to find out the gap between expectations and actual so that it will be easier to analyze corrective actions. The results of this study, obtained 4 (four) parts of the priority scale, namely high priority, good performance, low priority and the possibility to kill / excess attributes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam proses manufaktur transformator di PT XD Sakti Indonesia. Proses manufaktur trafo merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang kompleks dan memerlukan teknologi canggih serta pengawasan ketat untuk menghasilkan produk berkualitas tinggi. Proses dimulai dari pemilihan dan pengolahan bahan baku, seperti baja silikon untuk inti transformator dan kawat tembaga untuk gulungan. Tahapan utama dalam manufaktur meliputi pemotongan inti (core cutting), penggulungan kawat (winding), perakitan inti dan gulungan (core and coil assembly), impregnasi vakum (vacuum impregnation), serta pengujian kualitas (quality testing). Mesin-mesin yang digunakan, seperti mesin pemotong inti dan mesin penggulungan kawat, berperan penting dalam memastikan presisi dan efisiensi proses. Pengujian kualitas dilakukan untuk memastikan transformator memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan, meliputi pengujian tegangan, arus, dan resistansi. PT XD Sakti Indonesia juga menerapkan prinsip lean manufacturing untuk mengoptimalkan produksi dan mengurangi limbah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi canggih dan kontrol kualitas yang ketat memungkinkan PT XD Sakti Indonesia memproduksi transformator yang handal dan efisien, memenuhi kebutuhan pasar domestik dan internasional. Studi ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi industri manufaktur listrik mengenai praktik terbaik dalam produksi transformator.
