Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe conjunction and prepositions within the rubric of " editorial " Lampost newspaper and its implications for Indonesian learning in high school. The method that used is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data in this study is the rubric " editorial " Lampost newspaper . Data collection and analysis techniques used are text analysis. Based on the analysis of data found conjunction form there are coordinative conjunction, subordinating conjunction, correlative conjunction, and conjunction  between sentences. The prepositions are a single preposition and combined preposition. Lampost newspapers especially the rubric " editorial " can be used as a source of learning because it has been researched the phrase is used and written in according with standard.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan konjungtor dan preposisi dalam rubrik “tajuk” surat kabar Lampost dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah rubrik “tajuk” surat kabar Lampost. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis teks. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan konjungtor berupa konjungtor koordinatif, konjungtor subordinatif, konjungtor korelatif, dan konjungtor antarkalimat. Kemudian preposisi berupa preposisi tunggal dan preposisi gabungan. Surat kabar Lampost terutama rubrik “tajuk” dapat dijadikan sumber belajar karena setelah diteliti penggunaan dan tulisan di dalam kalimat sudah sesuai dengan ragam baku serta bentuk ketidaktepatan penggunaannya hanya sedikit.Kata kunci: konjungtor, preposisi, sumber belajar.

Abstract

The problem of this research is about the use of adverb in the opinion article of Kompas newspaper and its implication in the process of learning Indonesian language for SMA. The aim of this research is to describe the use of adverb in opinion articles of Kompas and its implication in the process of learning Indonesian language for SMA. The method of this research is a qualitative research. The data sources of this research is an opinion article of Kompas. The results of this research shows that the use of adverb is exist in the opinion article of Kompas. It is used productively by the writer with the purpose is for broadening the sentence and clarifying the writer intention. An adverb in opinion article of Kompas has an implication in the process of learning Indonesian language for SMA especially in term of structure based writing.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan adverbia pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan adverbia pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah artikel opini yang terdapat dalam surat kabar Kompas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas terdapat penggunaan adverbia yang digunakan secara produktif oleh penulis dengan tujuan untuk memperluas kalimat dan memperjelas maksud penulis. Adverbia pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas berimplikasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA mengenai kemampuan menulis sesuai struktur.Kata kunci: adverbia, artikel, pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research discusses about code switching Oz Radio announcer 94,4 FM and the implication of  Indonesian Language teaching in high school. The goal of this research is to describe the forms and the cause of code switching Oz Radio announcer 94,4 FM and the implication if Indonesian Language in high school. The result of the research shows that the code switching phenomena is found for about 161. There are there kind of code switching they are tag switching, intrasentential switching, and intersentential switching. Tag switching is caused by the changing of the situation, influenced by interlocutor, and topic changing. Intrasentential switching is caused by quoting someone’s conversation, topic changing, wants to be assume as a “well-educated person”, influenced by interlocutors that translate it to English, and avoid from the impolite words in Indonesian Language, whereas intersentential switching is caused by quoting someone’s conversations, the changing of the media, wants to be assumed as a “well-educated person”, influenced by the interlocutors that changes to English, topic changing and the third person. Based on the research, code switching can be used as a teaching source for Indonesian Language that gives many benefits, knowledge and the application to the students about the variation usage or language variation that occur by context, so it can make a communicative communication. Keywords: code switching, Oz Radio announcer 94,4 FM

Abstract

The problem of this research is the use of compound sentences in novel Rantau 1 Muara by Ahmad Fuadi and its implication in Indonesia learning at SMA. The aim of the research is to investigate the use of compound sentences in the novel and the implication in Indonesia learning at SMA. The method used qualitative descriptive. The source of data research is Rantau 1 Muara by Ahmad Fuadi. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that (1) Equal compound sentences, (2) Complex sentences, and (3) Compound-complex sentences. Compound sentences in novel Rantau 1 Muara by Ahmad Fuadi is proper as an alternative materials in SMA.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan kalimat majemuk pada novel Rantau 1 Muara karya Ahmad Fuadi dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan kalimat majemukpada novel dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah Novel Rantau 1 Muara karya Ahmad Fuadi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1) kalimat majemuk setara, (2) kalimat majemuk bertingkat, dan (3) kalimat majemuk campuran.Kalimat majemuk dalam novel Rantau 1 Muara karya Ahmad Fuadi layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA.Kata kunci: implikasi bahan ajar, kalimat majemuk, novel.

Abstract

The problem of this research was how the use of conjunction in anecdotes text and the implication in learning Indonesia language at class X of SMA. This research was intended to investigate the use of conjunction in anecdotes text of learning Indonesia language at class X of SMA. This method used qualitative descriptive. The source of data research was anecdotes text in Tempo daily newspaper of February 2014 edition. Based on the results of the analysis found that (1) coordinating conjunction, (2) subordinating conjunction, (3) correlative conjunction, and (4) conjunction between sentences. Anecdotes text in Tempo daily newspaper of February, 2014 edition deserved as an alternative materials in SMA.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan konjungsi pada teks anekdot dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan konjungsi pada teks anekdot dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks anekdot dalam koran Tempo edisi Februari 2014. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1) konjungsi koordinatif, (2) konjungsi subordinatif, (3) konjungsi korelatif, dan (d) konjungsi antarkalimat. Teks anekdot dalam Koran Tempo edisi Februari 2014 layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA.Kata kunci: anekdot, konjungsi, implikasi bahan ajar.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this research are the expression of maxims of politeness principle in the dialogue on Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah movie By Hanny Saputra and its implications on learning Indonesian language in high School. This study aims to describe the expression of maxims of politeness principle in the dialogue on Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah movie By Hanny Saputra and its implications on learning Indonesian language in high School. Research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data source in this study is Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah movie By Hanny Saputra, published by MD Pictures with duration 1 hour 53 minutes. Based on the result of research that the sixth maxims of politeness principle can be used in expression. They are the wisdom maxim, generosity maxim, commendatory maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, and sympathy maxim. The expression of maxims of politeness principle which-most frequenty appearcs is modesty maxim and which less appercs is wisdom maxim. The result of this research can be implied with Indonesian Language learning in high school as learning materials particularly in listening and speaking skills.Key words: expression, maxims of politeness principle, movie, implications.

Abstract

A problem in this research is how appliying the conversation principle in talkshow Bukan Empat Mata Trans7. This research aims to describe the conversation principle in the talkshow Bukan Empat Mata Trans7 and its implication on Indonesian Language learning of senior high school students. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. The source of the research is the speech between the host and the guest on the talkshow Bukan Empat Trans7. The result shows that the host can communicate well and appliying the principle of the conversation. The application of the conversation principle consists of regulation and transgession of cooperative principle and manner principle. The transgession in the principle of cooperative and manner is done for showing funny impression and conversation implicative. The study of the conversation principle through the learning theory in the concept of speaking skill.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan prinsip percakapan dalam talkshow Bukan Empat Mata Trans7. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan prinsip percakapan dalam talkshow Bukan Empat Mata Trans7 dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan antara pembawa acara dan bintang tamu dalam talkshow Bukan Empat Mata Trans7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembawa acara mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dan menerapkan prinsip percakapan. Penerapan prinsip percakapan tediri atas penaatan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dan prinsip sopan santun. Pelanggaran dalam prinsip kerja sama dan sopan santun dilakukan untuk menunjukkan kesan lucu dan implikatur percakapan. Kajian prinsip percakapan berimplikasi terhadap materi pembelajaran dalam aspek keterampilan berbahasa.Kata kunci: implikasi, komunikasi dalam talkshow, prinsip percakapan.

Abstract

Problems studied were effective speed reading class X SMA Negeri 1 Punggur Lampung Tengah regency school year 2012/2013. This study aims to describe the effective speed reading (hereinafter referred to KEM) students who have a term of words per minute (wpm). The effective speed reading involves two things, namely the speed of reading and comprehension. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Readability formulas used to estimate the level of difficulty or readability discourse in this research that uses charts and graphs raygor fry. Charts and graphs raygor fry is the result of an effort to simplify and streamline the readability level of discourse.The study population was all students in the class X SMA Negeri 1 Punggur Lampung Tengah regency school year 2012/2013 amounted to 254 students spread in seven classes.Keywords: speed reading, reading comprehension, effective speed reading

Abstract

The problem discussed in this research was the use of the principle of cooperation in the learning activities in elementary school at first grade of elementary school. The objective of this research was to describe the utilization of cooperation in the learning activities at first grade of elementary school.The method which was used in this research was qualitative-descriptive method. The technique of collecting data used simak bebas libat cakap technique. The data source in this research was teacher and students at first grade of SD Negeri 1 Trimulyo, Sekampung, Lampung Timur. Based on the result of the data analysis; found four maxims on the utilization of the principle of cooperation in the learning activities, namely quantity maxim, quality maxim, relevance maxim, and realization maxim. Based on the intensity, found the discourse which made the principle of corporation using quantity maxim 16 maxims (44,4%), quality maxim 3 maxims (0,08%), relevancy maxim 1 maxim (0,02%), realization maxim 16 maxims (44,4%). Based on those maxims, it can be known that maxims which were frequently found base on resulting the data analysis is quantity maxim and realization maxim.Key words : speech act, mode, context

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the sentence structure based on form and meaning in an anecdotes text in the Tempo newspaper edition on November 2014 and the implication in learning Indonesian language. The aim is to describe sentence structure based on anecdote text form, the meaning of anecdote text, and the implication in learning Indonesian language. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Based on the data analysis result, it is found that 5 anecdote texts which the sentence structure is divided into two based on form and meaning. Based on form, there are simple sentence, compound sentence (equivalent and multilevel) and in complete sentence, where as based on the meaning, there are declarative, interogative, imperative, and exclamative sentence. Tempo newspaper especially those anecdotes text can be used as a source of learning, for example in teaching about sentence structure. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah struktur kalimat dalam teks anekdot pada surat kabar Tempo edisi November 2014 dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan struktur kalimat berdasarkan bentuk pada teks anekdot, makna pada teks anekdot, dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan 5 teks anekdot yang struktur kalimatnya dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu berdasarkan bentuk dan berdasarkan makna. Berdasarkan bentuk ada kalimat tunggal, kalimat majemuk (setara dan bertingkat), kalimat tak lengkap, sedangkan berdasarkan makna ada deklaratif, interogatif, imperatif, dan eksklamatif. Surat kabar Tempo terutama yang ada teks anekdotnya dapat dijadikan sumber belajar, contohnya dalam membelajarkan tentang struktur kalimatnya.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, struktur kalimat, teks anekdot.
