Abstract

AbstractThis Development of Scouting Training Program of Enforcement Group for students of School Teacher of Madrasah Ibtida'yah Department of IAIN Pontianak is based on the low ability and skill of students in understanding scouting concept which refers to General Skill Requirements (SKU) and Special Skills Requirements (SKK). The objective of Development of Scouting Training Program of Enforcement Group is to produce a curriculum that can be used independently through training activities that are expected to assist the students in understanding the concept of scouting in accordance with the SKU and SSK effectively.The development model used in this Thesis uses a PLOMP model that has 5 stages: 1). Preliminary Investigation Phase 2). Design Phase 3. Realization/ Construction Phase 4). Test, Evaluation and RevisionPhase and 5). Implementation Phase. The results of the Thesis showed that the classes of design of the scouting training programconsisted of (1) Analysis of students (learners / scouts), materials and tasks (2) Implementation of enforcement scouting training program (3) Result of skill practice from the enforcement scouting training program on students. The development phase of the module begins with the preparation of weekly, monthly training program, materials and training media as well as media review and materials by experts showing media and materials have met the eligibility criteria for field trials, 35 students who show positive response (interested) in attending the scouting activity of the enforcement group. Obtaining the results of student practice after following shows that students can easily understand the concepts and skills of students in completing SKU. Keywords: Development, Training Program, Scouting, Enforcement Group, PLOMP Model.

Abstract

AbstractSanto Ignasius Senior High School that is located in Singkawang city is a school managed by a foundation named Yayasan Pengabdi untuk Sesama Manusia (YPSM). Since 2002, the top management of Ignasius Senior High School (ISHS) have built the building and developed the system. New and permanent classrooms, large library, and modern laboratories indicates that change. The new students come to Ignasius have better quality than before. Teachers and students develop their capability year by year. These things motivated the researcher to research how the principle manages that change, especially to improve teachers performance.This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The researcher comes to Ignasius SHS several times for observation about management of chage hold by principal. The researcher interviews some of the teacher and students, and principal as data resources. When the data have good validity and reability, the researcher analyse them qualitatively and then describes the result of analysis. First of all, the researcher found that Ignasius SHS has developed phisically. With good cooperation between the principal and the leader of YPSM, at last they could build new and permanent classrooms, compliting the learning teaching facilities, and proportional parking area. Based the data, the change is not only happens phisically, but also on the system. This is proved by notula, the minutes of meetings, researcher got from administration office.Second, the most important factor about change happens in Ignasius SHS is management by principle. The principle has done planning, coordinating, and also evaluating all programs. The principle also made good cooperation with all stakeholders so Ignasius SHS can reach that achievement. Third, changes happen in Ignasius SHS significantly influence teachers achievement. When principle doing open management and focusing on better performance, it raises people trust. The people will send their children to Ignasius year by year. As a result, management has better capability to pay teachers salary.Keywords:Change Management, Performance Improvement, Teachers

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media karikatur untuk keterampilan menulis argumentasi. Pendekatan  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SMKN 2 Singkawang ini menghasilkan hal-hal sebagai berikut.  (1) Desain pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi model Dick and Carey. (2) Pengembangan media dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development. (3) Profil Multimedia berupa kepingan CD (Compact Disk) yang memuat judul, SK, KD, Tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran dan contoh, tugas belajar, dan karikatur. 4) Penggunaan multimedia dan karikatur mempunyai dampak yang positif yaitu menarik minat dan motivasi siswa, membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan.(5)Penggunaan multimedia dan karikatur dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis argumentasi. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil penilaian portofolio yaitu 82 % siswa sudah mampu mengemukakan gagasan atau pendapat mengenai suatu peristiwa.  79 % hasil karangan siswa menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan antarkalimat dan antarparagraf. Sedangkan pada aspek pilihan kata menunjukkan 75 % siswa sudah dapat menggunakan kata dan istilah yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam karangan argumentasi.   Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Karikatur, Menulis Argumentasi Abstract : This research aims to develop a media caricature for the writing skills of argumentation. The approach used in this research is qualitative descriptive. This Study that performed at SMKN 2 Singkawang has result as following. (1) Design of learning in this study adopts the model of Dick and Carey. (2) The development of the media in this study using research and development. (3) Profile Multimedia in the form of CD (Compact Disk), which contains the title, SK, KD, learning objectives, learning materials and examples, learning tasks, and caricatures. (4) The use of multimedia and caricatures have a positive impact that interest and motivation of students, makes learning more fun and not boring. (5) The use of multimedia and caricatures can improve students' ability in writing argumentation. This can be evidenced from the portfolio assessment that 82% of students have been able to express ideas or opinions about an event. 79% of the student essay shows the relationship inter sentence and inter paragraph. While the aspect of the choice of words showed 75% of students are able to use words and terms that are appropriate for use in bouquets argument.   Keywords: Development, Caricatures, Write Arguments

Abstract

Abstrak : Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk keterampilan menulis puisi, maka metode yang digunakan adalah metode research and development dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Kedua, Storyboard merupakan rancangan yang menggambarkan isi media audiovisual   pembelajaran. Di dalam storyboard dijelaskan mengenai beberapa hal, yaitu :1) tampilan,  2) gambar,  3) keterangan tampilan. Storyboard dalam penelitian ini akan dijadikan acuan dalam pembuatan CD pembelajaran.  Ketiga, media audiovisual memudahkan dan mempercepat cara belajar peserta didik dalam berlatih menulis puisi. Hal ini karena pembelajaran menulis puisi menjadi pembelajaran yang tidak membosankan, menarik minat dan memotivasi siswa, dapat mengatasi perbedaan gaya  belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audiovisual dalam  pembelajaran menulis puisi merupakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Peneliti menyarankan agar media audio visual dikembangkan lagi untuk kompetensi dasar yang berbeda pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia.   Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Media Audiovisual, Menulis Puisi Abstract : This study aims to develop audiovisual media in learning Indonesian for poetry writing skills, the method used is the method of research and development by using descriptive qualitative approach. Second, Storyboard is a plan that describes the content of audiovisual media learning. In the storyboard explained on several things, namely: 1) view, 2) images, 3) a description of the display. Storyboard in this study will be used as reference in making instructional CD. Thirdly, audiovisual media easier and faster way students learn in practice writing poetry. This is because learning to write poetry into learning that is not boring, attract and motivate students, to overcome differences in student learning styles. Based on these results, the researchers concluded that the use of audiovisual media in learning to write poetry is meaningful learning. Researchers suggested that the audio-visual media is developed further for different basic competencies in subjects Indonesian.  Keywords: Development, audiovisual media, writing poetry

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses belajar mengajar guru dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar anak. Metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK Penggumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik wawancara dan teknik studi dokumentasi. Penggumpulan data panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis  data yaitu interaktif model dengan tahap-tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan / verifikasi. Subjek penelitian guru dan anak yang berusia 5-6 tahun. Pengumpul data teman sejawat. Secara khusus menyimpulkan (1) kemampuan merencanaankan pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 70 kategori baik; pada siklus II sebesar 88.75 kategori sangat baik. (2) kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 75 katergori baik; pada siklus II sebesar 80 kategori sangat baik. (3) Peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun pada siklus I sebesar 70.83% kategori baik; siklus II sebesar 87.5% kategori berkembang sangat baik.   Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Outdoor Peduli Lingkungan Abstract: This study aims to improve teaching and learning processes of teachers in improving learning outcomes of children. Descriptive method, form of classroom action research (PTK). The couletion data using observation, interview techniques and engineering documentation. guide data coulaction observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of the data that is interactive model of the stages of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions / verification. The research subject teachers and children aged 5-6 years. Data collectors peers. Specifically concluded (1) the ability of learning plan first cycle of 70 categories of good; on the second cycle of 88.75 very good category. (2) ability to carry out the learning cycle I was 75 katergori good; on the second cycle of the 80 categories is very good. (3) Increased environmental awareness characters in children aged 5-6 years in the first cycle of 70.83% both categories; cycle II of 87.5% category is growing very well.   Key Words: Outdoor Learning Environment Care

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di sekolah harus lebih meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk mulai merubah pola prilaku belajar melalui strategi dan model pembelajaran yang inovatif agar siswa termotivasi dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penggunaan Multimedia  Dalam Pembelajaran PKn dan Hasil Belajar Pada Nilai-nilai Demokrasi kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kunyit. sebagai subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru PKn kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kunyit. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam  dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia  dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian mengharapkan agar guru dapat membuat serta menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan terencana, sistematis, konsisten, dan terarah sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran sehingga proses pembelajaran lebih bermakna bagi guru maupun siswa . This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed to determine Civics Use of Multimedia in Learning and Learning Outcomes On Democratic Values ​​in eighth grade Secondary School 1 Sungai Kunyit. as research subjects are students and teachers of civics eighth grade Secondary School 1 Sungai Kunyit. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interview and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that the use of multimedia in teaching civics can improve student learning outcomes. The results of the study expects that teachers can create and use multimedia learning carried out in a planned, systematic, consistent, and directed in accordance with the learning materials so that the learning process more meaningful for teachers and students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan media audiovisual pada mata pelajaran produktif  pertanian guna perolehan keterampilan sambung pucuk. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Jurusan Agribisnis Produksi Tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Pengaruh media audio visual pada saat proses belajar mengajar tentang sambung pucuk   adalah  siswa merasa senang dan menyukai pelajaran sambung pucuk melalui media audio visual, serta semakin menambah rasa percaya diri dan dapat mempraktekan sambung pucuk di rumah.2) Skenario pembelajaran dibuat dalam 2 kali pertemuan adapun langkah-langkah kegiatan pembelajaran terdiri dari 3 kegiatan yaitu kegiatan awal (apersepsi dan motivasi), inti (menonton VCD, tanya jawab, pembagian kelompok, dan praktek), dan kegiatan akhir (merangkum ulang, kuis). 3)Perolehan keterampilan dalam Pembelajaran Produktif Pertanian dengan memanfaatkan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran sambung pucuk termasuk dalam kategori cukup terampil.Kata Kunci:Media Audiovisual, Perolehan Keterampilan, Sambung PucukABSTRACT: Using Audio Visual Media in Teaching Agriculture Productive Class for Having Grafting Skill. This research is aimed to know Using Audio Visual Media in Teaching Agriculture Productive Class for Having Grafting Skill. The method used in this research was descriptive with qualitative approac. The research results show that: 1) The student enjoy and love the teaching learning process in the grafting skill through visual audio media. they student can improve their concentration because of the interesting picture, they have more self confidence, and they are able to practice grafting at home. 2) Learning scenario which was made for two meetings consists of three sections, and the sections were pre teaching (apperception and motivation), while teaching (watching VCD, discussing, dividing group, and practicing), and post teaching (summarizing and quizzing). 3) Student’s skills in learning agriculture productive by using audio visual media are good enough. Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk: (1) menentukan jenis multimedia pembelajaran biologi konsep Hereditas di kelas IX; (2) merumuskan preskripsi tugas belajar pebelajar untuk konsep Hereditas ; (3) menyusun strategi pembelajaran biologi untuk proses belajar konsep Hereditas . Model penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada pedoman menurut Borg dan Gall yang terdiri atas sepuluh langkah, yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data awal, perencanaan, pembuatan produk awal, uji coba awal, perbaikan produk awal, uji coba lapangan, perbaikan produk operasional, uji coba operasional, perbaikan produk akhir, dan desiminasi. Hasil validasi ahli materi memberi nilai kualitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan ahli media menilai kualitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menunjukkan kriteria baik, sehingga mereka bersepakat bahwa produk ini layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran biologi kelas IX. Hasil uji coba mendukung penilaian para ahli, baik uji coba satu-satu, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kata kunci: pengembangan, multimedia pembelajaran Abstract: This research is a developmental research that head for, (1) determine what kind of biology multimedia learning in Heredity concept IX Grade at Junior High School, (2) compile learning task in learning Heredity concept, (3) compile biology learning strategy for learning process concept Heredity. Developmental model that used is Borg and Gall developmental model that consist of 10 steps. The developmental steps are research and information collecting, planning, development preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision and dissemination. The material expert validation result gives score for the quality of media learning that developed is quite good). Likewise the media expert valuation the quality of media learning that developed is good, both of them agree that this product can be used in IX grade biology learning process. Trial result support the media and material expert valuation. Likewise the one by one trial, the trial of small group, and field trial gives quite good score. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian adalah mendiskripsikan pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu berbasis Lingkungan untuk perolehan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik di SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitiatif dan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik, dan guru, di tiga SD Sungai Kakap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu berbasis Lingkungan peserta didik termotivasi dan mempunyai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi seperti kemampuan menganalisis, kemampuan mengevaluasi, dan kemampuan berkreasi. Kesimpulan bahwa dengan pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu berbasis Lingkungan sebagaian besar peserta didik mempunyai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi berupa menganalisis, mengevaluasi, berkreasi/mencipta, dan dengan pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu berbasis Lingkungan sangat baik, karena peserta didik berpikir secara sceintifik untuk menghindari pola pikir menghafal dan mengingat.   Kata Kunci   : Tematik Terpadu,  Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi Abstract : The purpose of this study is to descreption the higher order thinking skills of learners in elementary school. The methods used in this study is qualitative. Data obtained by doing observation to the learners, and instructional design prepared by teachers in elementary. Data were analyzed interactive model that includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that through the implementaion of the integrated thematic learning based environment make the learners feel happy and have the ability to think critically, to analyze, to evaluate and creative abilities. This study shows that with the implementation of the integrated thematic learning based environment most learners have the ability to think at a high level in the form of analyzing, evaluating, and creating from previously at the level of recall, memorize and apply.   Keyword : Integrated Thematic, Higher Order Thinking Skill

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pengembangan Media CD Interaktif dengan Model Pembelajaran IPS Terpadu Berbasis Masalah pada kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media CD interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan model pembelajaran IPS terpadu berbasis masalah di kelas VIII SMPN 9 Pontianak. Metode Penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode diskriptif kualitatif yang didapatkan dari pemberian angket dan tes yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil Pengembangan CD interaktif IPS terpadu berbasis masalah dengan kriteria sangat baik dengan skor rerata 4,37. 2) Sedangkan data tentang motivasi peserta didik setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik dengan skor rerata 3,37. 3) Perolehan hasil belajar menunjukkan peningkatan yakni skor rerata pre-test 37 sedangkan rerata skor pos-test 69,67 sehingga terjadi kenaikan rerata skor peserta didik sebesar 32,67. Hal ini berarti bahwa produk media CD interaktif yang dikembangkan layak dan baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu jenjang SMP kelas VIII. Kata Kunci: CD interaktif, Motivasi Belajar, Pemerolehan Belajar. ABSTRACT: Interactive CD Media Development in The Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) Lessons by Problem-Based Integrated Social Studies Learning Model in Eighth Grade Junior High School. The aim of this research is developing Interactive CD Media in The Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) Lessons by Problem-Based Integrated Social Studies Learning Model in class VIII SMPN 9 Pontianak. The methods of this research that is used is descriptive qualitative methods. The data is collected from the result of questionnaires and tests. Those were analized qualitatively. The results of this research showed that: 1) The results of the Interactive CD Media Development in The Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) Lessons by Problem-Based Integrated Social Studies Learning Model with criteria very good with mean score of 4.37; 2) the data on students' motivation after learning conducted showed excellent criterion with a mean score of 3.37. 3) students motivation after learning conducted result in criteria very good with the mean score 3.37; 5) learning acquisition showed an increase in the mean pre-test score of 37.00, while the post-test mean score of 69.67 leading to increase in the mean score of 32.67 students. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive CD media products developed valid and fit use in learning in Integrated Social Studies Lessons in SMP class VIII.
