Abstract

The study is base on the lack of children's speaking ability to repeat the contents of the previously heard stories. The evidenced by the unfavorable language development of some children. An easy-to-use language development stimulation tool, one of which is the finger puppet. Finger puppets are uses in the form of a story. This study aimed to determine the effect of finger puppet stimulation on children's language development. The research used a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample size 62 children selected using simple random sampling. Data collected using an observation form of a checklist. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results almost all of the children's language development before stimulation (88,7%) was less, the children's language development after stimulation increased more than partially (59,7%) had enough language development, and the Wilcoxon test results p=0,000, finger puppet stimulation has a significant effect on children's language development. The conclusion of the study finger puppet stimulation affects the language development of pre-school children.Keywords: finger puppet; verbal language; pre-school childrenABSTRAKStudi didasari kurangnya kemampuan berbicara anak untuk mengulang isi cerita yang didengar sebelumnya. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya perkembangan bahasa sebagian anak yang kurang baik. Alat stimulasi perkembangan bahasa yang mudah digunakan salah satunya finger puppet. Finger puppet digunakan dengan cara dalam bentuk cerita. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh stimulasi finger puppet terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak. Desain penelitian adalah pre-eksperimen dengan one-group pretest and posttest design. Besar sampel adalah 62 anak yang dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi berupa ceklist. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perkembangan bahasa anak sebelum stimulasi hampir seluruhnya (88,7%) kurang, perkembangan bahasa anak setelah stimulasi terjadi peningkatan lebih dari sebagian (59,7%) memiliki perkembangan bahasa cukup, dan hasil uji Wilcoxon p=0,000, stimulasi finger puppet berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan stimulasi finger puppet berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak pra sekolah.Kata kunci: finger puppet; bahasa; anak pra sekolah

Abstract

The human life cycle is a process of growth and development physically and mentally. Physical and mental changes in the elderly occur due to degenerative processes, so that there will be limitations in activities, memory and speaking abilities. The existence of these limitations, affects social interactions with other people which tend to be reduced and passive. Decreased social interaction in the elderly can cause a sense of isolation, feeling useless, so that the elderly tend to be alone. This Study aimed to identify the association between mental status and soscial interaction capacity among the elderly. This research used correlational with a cross sectional design. Data were obtained from SPMSQand social interaction capacity elderly questionnaire. The study used a sample of 91 respondents, with a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used Spearman rho test. The results showed that the majority (57,1%) of the elderly had minor intellectual impairment, and most (5,.9%) of the elderly had moderate social interaction skills. The results of the Spearman test p=0,001 and r=0,353, meaning that there is a relationship between mental status and the social interaction ability of the elderly, the strength of the correlation is moderate and the correlation is positive. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between mental status and the social interaction skills of the elderly.Keywords: mental status; social interaction; elderlyABSTRAKSiklus kehidupan manusia selalu tumbuh dan berkembang baik secara fisik maupun mental. Perkembangan fisik dan mental pada lansia mengalami proses degeneratif, sehingga terjadi penurunan aktifitas, mengingat dan kemampuan berbicara. Adanya penurunan tersebut, berpengaruh pada interaksi sosial dengan orang lain sehingga berkurang dan pasif. Menurunnya interaksi sosial lansia dapat menyebabakan perasaan terisolasi, merasa tidak berguna sehingga menyebabkan lansia cenderung menyendiri. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi adanya hubungan status mental dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial lansia. Penelitian menggunakan studi korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Instrumen penelitian kuesioner SPMSQ dan kuesioner Kemampuan Interaksi Sosial Lansia. Penelitian menggunakan sampel 91 responden, dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas (57,1%) lansia mengalami kerusakan intelektual ringan, dan sebagian besar (54,9%) lansia memiliki kemampuan interaksi sosial sedang. Hasil uji Spearman p=0,001 dan r=0,353, berarti terdapat hubungan status mental dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial lansia, kekuatan korelasi sedang dan korelasi bersifat positif. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status mental dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial lansia.Kata kunci: status mental; interaksi sosial; lanjut usia

Abstract

Corona virus Disease 2019 causes health problems in the world in the form of a health crisis which results in psychological problems such as fear and anxiety. So a study is needed to find out the factors that influence psychology and stigma during the Covid-19 pandemic. Study was a literature review based on 5 databases (Scopus, CINAHL, Science Direct, PubMed, and ProQuest), involving cross-sectional or quasi-experimental, in March 2021. Center for Review and Dissemination and JBI Guidelines were used to measure quality and checklists PRISMA for guide reviews. Feasibility study based on title, abstract, full text, and research method. Eleven articles met the criteria. Most of the factors related to psychological conditions and stigma have a quasi-experimental and cross-sectional design. The mean number of participants was over 1,000 for each study and discussed psychological conditions and factors associated with social stigma. Factors related to psychological conditions were age, education, gender, symptoms and health conditions, information, economy, exposure duration and social support, while factors related to stigma were environment, history of comorbid illnesses, discrimination, and community perceptions.Keywords: psychological condition; stigma; Covid-19 ABSTRAK Corona virus Disease 2019 menimbulkan masalah kesehatan di dunia berupa krisis kesehatan yang mengakibatkan masalah psikologis seperti rasa takut and cemas. Maka diperlukan studi untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi psikologis dan stigma selama pandemi Covid-19. Studi merupakan literature review berbasis 5 database (Scopus, CINAHL, Science Direct, PubMed, dan ProQuest), yang melibatkan cross-sectional atau kuasi-eksperimental, pada bulan Maret 2021. Pusat Tinjauan dan Diseminasi dan Panduan JBI digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas dan daftar periksa PRISMA untuk ulasan panduan. Studi kelayakan berdasarkan judul, abstrak, teks lengkap, dan metode penelitian. Sebelas artikel memenuhi kriteria. Sebagian besar faktor yang berhubungan dengan kondisi psikologis dan stigma memiliki desain kuasi eksperimental dan cross-sectional. Rerata peserta adalah lebih dari seribu untuk setiap studi dan membahas kondisi psikologis dan faktor yang terkait dengan stigma sosial. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kondisi psikologis adalah usia, pendidikan, jenis kelamin, symptoms and health conditions, informasi, ekonomi, exposure duration dan social support, sedangkan faktor yang berhubungan dengan stigma adalah lingkungan, riwayat penyakit komorbid, diskriminasi, dan persepsi masyarakat.Kata kunci: kondisi psikologis; stigma; Covid-19
