Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan peran kinerja bauran pemasaran jasa pendidikan (fasilitas fisik dan proses) dan dampaknya terhadap citra perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan survei lapangan. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa perguruan tinggi swasta yaitu sebanyak 130 orang dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis dijalankan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi dan perangkat lunak SPSS Versi 21,0 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek bauran jasa pendidikan memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk citra perguruan tinggi. Untuk kinerja pemasaran dalam bauran fasilitas fisik dan bauran proses berpengaruh terhadap citra perguruan tinggi. Citra perguruan tinggi adalah pandangan, impresi, perasaan, konsepsi mahasiswa mengenai kegiatan operasional pendidikan mulai dari input, proses, output berorientasi pada segi layanan yang langsung di rasakan mahasiswa sebagai penerima jasa, dimana mungkin mempengaruhi langsung atau tidak langsung. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diarahkan untuk pengembangan strategi lembaga di segitiga pemasaran jasa dengan mengacu pada aspek bauran pemasaran jasa dan implikasi manajerial khusus dalam mengelola perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the level of return on education investment and the results of human resource analysis using the Payback Period, Net Benefit or Cost Ratio, and Net Present Value methods for graduates in the English Education Department of Higher Education at West Java and Banten Province. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. Samples taken in this study were 60 graduates in the English Education Department of Higher Education at West Java and Banten Province. Based on the results of the research, obtained 3 domiciles from all respondents, namely Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java provinces. The results showed that there was a high income gap be- tween graduates in each domicile. Using the Payback Period method, for graduates who are domiciled in Banten and West Java province, showed that investment is feasible but for graduates who are domiciled in the DKI Jakarta province, showed that unfeasible. Using the Net Benefit or Cost Ratio (BCR) method, for graduates domiciled in Banten and West Java province indicate that the investment is feasible, that the BCR value is more than 1. However, for graduates who are domiciled at the DKI Jakarta province, that the investment is unfeasible, that the BCR value is less than 1, that is 0.30. Using the Net Present Value (NPV) method, for graduates who are domiciled at Banten and West Java province showed that the in- vestment is feasible, that a positive NPV value. However, for graduates who are domiciled in DKI Jakarta province, showed that the investment is unfeasible, that the NPV value is negative.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the labor needs of Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational High School graduates at Karawang Regency in 2020-2024. The method used in this research is qualitative method. This research was conducted using a manpower planning approach, which is used based on commonly used theories and compared with those used in the industry that is the benchmark. Participants in this research were all State Vocational Schools in Karawang Regency which had light vehicle engineering expertise programs. The results of the research found four main points, namely the first, the automotive industry in Karawang Regency experienced a significant growth acceleration in the last five years in the 2015-2019 period. Second, to encourage the acceleration of the automotive industry in Karawang Regency which is growing in the future. Based on the results of calculations using the manpower planning approach in the next five years, it takes at least 164 technicians in the field of plant productivity accompanied by competency specifications of expertise that require mastering the field of industrial automation. Third, the need for technicians in the field of plant productivity in 2024, which is as many as 164 technicians, can be met through only 6 of Vocational High School. Fourth, the need for labor in the middle quality category is oversupply, one of the factors for the oversupply is because the absorption of graduates does not focus on industry in Karawang Regency.

Abstract

AbstrakRencana strategik (renstra) merupakan salah satu alat yang dibutuhkan oleh perguruan tinggi untuk menghadapi setiap tantangan yang datang dari lingkungan yang selalu berubah-ubah. Salah satu komponen yang terpenting dari renstra adalah implementasi. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi renstra, diantaranya adalah intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi. Intellectual capital merupakan sumberdaya intangible berupa pengetahuan, informasi, pengalaman, dan komitmen untuk memanfaatkannya. Sedangkan komunikasi organisasi merupakan proses penyampaian dan penerimaan pesan dalam suatu organisasi yang berkenaan dengan tugas. Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang di dukung dengan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dekan, ketua departemen dan ketua prodi dengan jumlah total 89 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI, intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi berada pada kategori tinggi. Secara parsial, intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. Selanjutnya secara simultan, juga memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI..      Kata kunci: implementasi renstra, intellectual capital, komunikasi organisasi AbstractStrategic palan is one of the tools needed by universities to face any challenge that comes from an environment that is always changing. One of the most important components of the strategic plan is the implementation. Factors affecting the implementation of the strategic plan, i.e. intellectual capital and organizational communication. Intellectual capital is an intangible resource such as knowledge, information, experience and commitment to exploit it. While organizational communication is delivering process and receiving messages within an organization which related with the task. This research purpose is describing and analyzing the affect of intellectual capital and organizational communication toward implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. This research used survey method with quantitative approach. Data collecting technique used was a questionnaire. Subjects consisted of Dean, Department Chairman, and study Program Chairman with a total 89 people. The result showed that the general description of implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. Intellectual capital and organizational communication at the high category. Partially, intellectual capital and organizational communication have a significant influence on the implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. Furthermore, simultaneously it also has a significant influence on the implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. Key word: implementation of strategic planning, intellectual capital, and organizational communication

Abstract

AbstrakSekolah merupakan tempat berlangsungnya proses belajar mengajar dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Namun, tidak semua sekolah memiliki mutu yang tinggi untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesenjangan antara fenomena empiris dengan teori yang berlaku. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh dari kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu sekolah dasar negeri di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner. Objek penelitian adalah guru dan kepala sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 397 guru dan 33 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara parsial maupun bersama-sama keduanya memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini yaitu para kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kinerja manajerialnya, khususnya dalam kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat, dan para guru bisa memperbaiki kinerja mengajarnya dengan menambah pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keilmuannya, khususnya dalam pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar guna mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Kata kunci: Kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah, Kinerja mengajar guru, Mutu Sekolah AbstractSchool is the place for the learning process in order to achieve national education goals. However, not all schools have high quality for achieving these objectives. This research is motivated by the gap between empirical phenomena with the prevailing theory. The study aims to describe and analyze the influence of managerial performance of school principals and teachers teaching performance to the quality of public elementary school in Bandung. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach and data collection by questionnaire. The research objects were teachers and principals of elementary schools in the city of Bandung which amounted to 397 teachers and 33 principals. The results showed, partially or together they have a significant influence on the quality of schools. Recommendations from this research that the principals can improve managerial performance, especially in the ability of making the right decisions, and teachers can improve their teaching performance by increasing knowledge, insight, and scientific, especially in the implementation of the learning process in order to create effective learning. Keywords : managerial performance of principals, teachers teaching performance , quality of schools.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the achievement of teacher performance, teaching facilities, and school principal supervision that can influence the quality of graduates and school accreditation. The research method used in this study is the inferential statistical analysis method using a quantitative approach, examined using the causal relationship method and the data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Smart PLS application to obtain significant interrelated results. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Teacher Performance Achievement and Teaching Facilities have a significant effect on Graduate Quality, while School Principal Supervision does not have a significant effect on Graduate Quality. Teacher Performance Achievement, Teaching Facilities, and School Principal Supervision do not have a significant effect on School Accreditation, while Graduate Quality has a significant effect on School Accreditation. Teacher Performance Achievement, Teaching Facilities, and School Principal Supervision simultaneously do not have a significant effect on Graduate Quality, and Teacher Performance Achievement, Teaching Facilities, School Principal Supervision, and Graduate Quality simultaneously do not have a significant effect on School Accreditation. This research is expected to have an impact on the development of teacher performance carried out consistently as well as the maintenance of teaching facilities in the school environment.
